Chapter 507: Chapter 501: Anomaly of Zero (Part 2)
Finn Lewis tentatively asked Zero, but received no response. Evidently, it had returned to its previous apathetic state. If Zero is not explaining, then Olivia Thatcher is certain to be ignorant. Moreover, all the surroundings seemingly had not been affected in any way, as if the incident had never occurred. Finn had Olivia monitor the internet and even hacked into the police system of Celeston City to check the latest updates.
Until Finn returned ho, Olivia found no report or alarm raised about the incident. Although Finn had chosen a less-traveled alley, there are no places in Celeston City that are completely deserted. The alley shouldn’t be completely devoid of people, not to ntion that the green beam of light was probably visible for dozens of kiloters away.
Now everything was as if it had never happened, as if Finn had indeed just had a dream. Too much information was revealed from within: first, the other party has the ability to modify human mory, which Finn believed. But he didn’t believe in the large-scale and widespread mory manipulation. This led Finn to believe that the green beam of light was sohow blocked or shielded.
As for the specific ans used, Zero is likely the only one who knows, and Finn cannot begin to guess. But all of this reminded him of another point: such terrible disturbances could be completely covered up, so damn it, how many other events in this world had occurred unknown to others? Or perhaps the aliens have created chaos on Earth many tis, completely unbeknownst to Earth’s residents.

When he just returned, it couldn’t simulate anything at his left leg part. Fortunately, Finn had parked his car right in front of his ho elevator where no one was around. Kay Lee was not at ho; she was at Moon of West Lake.
After he took off the protective suit, Finn spoke, “Zero, the Little Wildcat Protective Suit is damaged. This maintenance shouldn’t count towards my points, right?”
“I will upgrade a protective suit with stronger protective ability for you and replenish all your energy,” Zero promptly replied.
“Ok,” Finn agreed. If it were not for the Little Wildcat Protective Suit, Finn suspected he would be dead by now. Therefore, Finn did not want the sa thing to happen for the second ti.
About half an hour later, a new protective suit appeared before Finn. This suit seed to be much thinner compared to the Little Wildcat Protective Suit. Finn picked up the almost paper-thin protective suit and asked, “Are you sure this is more advanced than the previous Little Wildcat Protective Suit?”
“Yes! Its protection ability is beyond doubt, and it has other abilities. For example, it has an energy field shield that can resist so attacks that can cause vibrational damage inside the suit,” Zero briefly explained.
Finn wore the new suit. Despite most parts of it being very thin, there were still so other parts which disguised as belt and wrist watches, making it unnoticeable. It also had an intelligent control system, and Finn chose to rena it Little Wildcat. Its basic functions were not much different from the Little Wildcat Protective Suit, but it had an enhanced protection capability. Additionally, unlike the Little Wildcat Protective Suit, this new suit could enhance Finn’s physical attributes.
It increased Finn’s physical strength, power, nerve reaction speed, and more. It could be said to be a comprehensive enhancent to a person’s physique, a function available even in daily use. Luckily, the enhanced nerve adjustnt would make it easy for Finn to adapt to the heightened power quickly, so there was no real problem.
After all this was done, Finn rembered what he saw when he was being chased down. Sitting on the sofa and pondering for a long ti, Finn asked, “Zero, is there a way to improve my personal strength, like combat capability? At least, so that I won’t be helpless the next ti sothing like this happens, completely without the ability to fight back.”
“There are many ways, the most basic being you start learning now,” Zero unusually responded to Finn, presumably due to the issue of protective asures.
“Is there a faster way?”
“Yes, injecting combat techniques directly into your brain. But you need to practice on your own to master them completely,” Zero quickly answered.
“Use that thod then.” Finn was very decisive. He knew himself; if he were to learn slowly, he wouldn’t even consider how long it was going to take. Moreover, how many practical skills can one learn in the real world? Evidently, those of aliens like the one encountered earlier were summarized from real battles.
They were way more powerful than taekwondo, jeet kune do, Thai boxing, karate, etc. So, Finn believed the things from Zero seed more reliable.
