“Master, there’s no problem at all. I’ve already negotiated with the local governnt officials, and they fully support our actions. Though so of them might not fully understand, they are aware that as long as we start construction, it will create a significant number of jobs for the officials in the state. Hence, they won’t object to our plans. Besides, we have also paid a large amount of tax,” Henry Lewis said with a smile.
“That’s good news. Are there any other issues?” Finn Lewis continued asking.
“No issues at all. In just over a month, our preliminary plan should be completed. By around February of next year, our overall plan will be near completion,” Henry Lewis said quietly.
“That quick?” Finn Lewis was sowhat surprised.
The so-called ‘overall plan’ doesn’t only refer to this tiline but also integrates with another tiline. For instance, the Fla Nation Empire established by Finn Lewis in the alternate reality should, under economic isolation, use modern technology to elevate the overall technology of the alternate reality to a level nearly equivalent to this tiline.
While they could sacrifice so areas of high technology, they must not reduce the quality of chanical manufacturing too much. Once these plans are completed, in case of a crisis, Finn Lewis could directly deploy soldiers of the Fla Nation Empire from the other tiline to fight on this land!
When the situation becos critical, Finn Lewis is capable of doing anything. Even in the other tiline, Finn Lewis’s reputation is no laughing matter. Those people aren’t even past the third generation yet, and the things Finn Lewis has done, to say the least, will exert trendous influence throughout five or six generations.
Shortly after Finn Lewis received these two tasks, after negotiations, the biggest weapon turned out to be the ti difference between the two tilines! If needed, Finn Lewis could resort to the strategy of overwhelming numbers. He couldn’t believe that anyone could compete with him in terms of manpower! What is the concept of a 1:45 ti ratio? Forty-five years would pass in the other tiline, while only one year would pass in this world.
Finn Lewis didn’t believe he wouldn’t succeed with several extra generations of people. Moreover, Finn Lewis felt that once people like Nicolas Tesla grew up, he would find a way to bring them to the modern world. He wondered what sparks of genius would burst forth once these legends were freed from the restrictions of their era.
“Our plan isn’t very complicated, and it’s not very difficult to block information,” Henry Lewis didn’t elaborate too much since Kay Lee was present.
Finn Lewis nodded, not questioning further. About twenty minutes later, they ca to a luxurious villa estate surrounded by nurous storage warehouses. This ti, the convoy didn’t drive directly into an underground base but went straight into the estate.
The estate was obviously built to a high standard. The T900 engineering robots did almost all the work. No modern villa could compare in terms of quality or interior design.
From the outside, the villa seed perfectly normal. Once Finn’s car pulled into the underground parking lot, soft lighting illuminated every corner. Imdiately, Olivia Thatcher’s familiar voice echoed, “Welco ho, Master.”
“Wow? Is that Olivia?” Kay Lee recognized Olivia’s voice.
“Yes, it is. Hello, Miss Kay Lee,” Olivia said with a smile.
“Let’s go,” Finn Lewis got out of the car, smiling. He took Kay Lee by the hand and led her down the hallway. Finn Lewis hadn’t been to this villa district before, but he gathered enough information from Olivia. Compared to this villa, Bill Gates’ mansion, reputed to be the world’s highest-tech, was out of date.
As they stood on the moving walkway, their bodies started moving forward.
“Ah… is… is this an elevator?” Kay Lee was first startled, then astonished as she looked down at the white floor tiles that worked like a conveyor belt.
The floor tiles were white with patterns etched into them. Kay Lee initially thought it was just an ordinary floor until the tiles began to move. The seemingly square tiles were not regular floor tiles at all, but more like components in a conveyor system.
“Yes, it basically serves the sa function,” Finn Lewis replied with a smile. He didn’t explain in detail. In fact, all the car park floor was interactive. Each tile could move independently or in a coordinated manner. The entire basent of the villa was a hollow space.
When the conveyor reached the wall, to Kay Lee’s astonishnt, a door silently parted in the wall, ushering the two of them into the villa. Once inside, the door closed seamlessly behind them. Looking back, the wall showed no trace of a door.
The interior decorating of the entire villa exuded a sci-fi aesthetic. Be it the walls, the sofa, or even the ornants, everything reflected an aura of futurism. The flooring of the villa was made of transparent glass, and beneath it was filled with sea water harbouring specially bred fish.
It was like walking on the sea surface. Between the seawater and the glass was an air bubble-free gap, adding to the illusion of walking on water. The glass appeared to be a single piece, showing no signs of connection points.
“Wow, this is so beautiful! Is this the surprise you ntioned?” Kay Lee exclaid as she looked around. The interior of the villa seed like a fairy-tale kingdom, except that instead of cartoons, it was full of futuristic elents.
“Of course not. The surprise I ntioned doesn’t actually have anything to do with these. It’s about so issues related to my identity,” Finn Lewis thought for a bit before deciding to tell Kay Lee. Even though they weren’t married yet, he trusted her to keep his secret.
“Identity? What’s the issue with your identity?” Kay Lee, stumped, gave him a serious look.
Finn Lewis led Kay Lee to sit on the nearby sofa, thought for a while, then began, “You should know my background, or rather, my history. The dia has covered quite a bit about . I was rely the son of a regular family, as you should have realized after seeing my parents during your recent visit.”
“Hmm,” Kay Lee nodded, choosing neither to deny nor agree. However, the bewildernt in her eyes was obvious. She had no idea what Finn Lewis was getting at.
