Human life is as insignificant as grass; Li Yifei sighed and walked in a certain direction. He and the Saintess acted separately, each cleaning up, agreeing to et up only when finished. Along the way, Li Yifei encountered another group of gun-wielding individuals. Here, he discovered a staircase leading downwards, but as he was about to descend, he sensed danger and saw several Type II People charging at him, wielding heavy weapons.
Upon seeing the weapons, Li Yifei did not panic. Although Type II People are strong compared to ordinary humans, they are relatively weak against Li Yifei. He quickly disposed of the few Type II People. As he was about to continue downward, he paused, his eyebrows furrowed, and peered down to see a gigantic iron door slowly opening below, revealing that two Type II People had sohow opened it.
"Humph!" A heavy sound echoed, and Li Yifei seed to hear a powerful creature sigh deeply. After hearing it, his heart tightened, and he swiftly jumped down, slicing the door-opening Type II People with a few strokes. Just as he was about to close the door, a large hand suddenly grabbed the door, and with a creaking sound, the door was forcibly pushed open, as a ’person’ over three ters tall stepped out.
Could this be the legendary Type III People? Li Yifei felt a powerful aura, akin to a top-level expert. He did not expect that these people could artificially create such a powerful human.
This creature likely didn’t achieve its prowess through decades of cultivation. It might only be a short-term genetic mutation that made it so formidable.
"You are the enemy!" The Type III Person’s giant eyeballs stared at Li Yifei, its mouth unmoving, but the voice reverberated throughout the space.
"A loud voice doesn’t an you’re strong!" Li Yifei held the Mohist War Blade, twirling it.
"Therefore, you should die!" The Type III Person said, as its large hand reached for Li Yifei. Although they were ten ters apart, the hand seed to instantly appear in front of Li Yifei.
This guy’s speed is rather fast; Li Yifei dodged, turning back to strike. So what if this thing is three ters tall? Li Yifei has encountered the Drought Demon, an ancient monster of hundreds or thousands of years old, far more formidable than this creature, and he remained unafraid, so why fear this thing?
"Roar!" The Type III Person, sustaining a blow, let out an earth-shattering roar, but a wound had already appeared on its back, truly affirming Li Yifei’s words that loudness doesn’t equate to strength.
Monts later, Li Yifei delivered four or five consecutive strikes, increasing the roar of the Type III Person. Despite its mighty strength, trendous speed, destructive power, and resilience, which earned it high expectations from the Noah’s Ark Organization, it beca weak before Li Yifei, who was genuinely a formidable expert.
In facing the Type III Person, Li Yifei’s skill surpassed it in all aspects, so he naturally had no fear of this creature and was able to maneuver and strike skillfully, each of his attacks almost fatal to the Type III Person.
Of course, even though this Type III Person was considered a success, it wasn’t the ultimate expectation of the Noah’s Ark Organization. They desired a Type III Person with the appearance, intelligence, and adaptability of a normal human. This would be a true strongman. The three-ter-tall monster with low intelligence, no matter how strong its hands, was ultimately futile because humanity’s advantage lies in intelligence and the brain’s adaptability, without which even human experts cannot be defeated.
Especially... the Type III Person’s success rate is extrely low, with high requirents. The Type III Person Li Yifei faced was such, but unfortunately, its first opponent turned out to be Li Yifei. Against another expert, it might not be as miserable, but Li Yifei was too fierce. His Mohist War Blade swung continuously, emitting flashes of blade light, leaving deep wounds on the Type III Person’s body.
The blood was still red, nothing special. The Type III Person, struck with dozens of blows in an instant, roared continuously, its body crackling, but instead of growing, it suddenly shrank considerably, reducing to approximately two ters in height akin to a ’normal human.’ Li Yifei felt its aura change, becoming far sharper in an instant.
"Die!" The Type III Person uttered the word. As it shrunk, its wounds also shrank and healed rapidly.
Indeed, it’s got so moves. Li Yifei held the Mohist War Blade, created a twirl in front of him, and as he saw the Type III Person charging, he unleashed two swift strikes, but the Type III Person’s body ford a zigzag pattern, seemingly flashing in place, and astonishingly avoided the attacks.
There are indeed redeemable aspects, Li Yifei thought, but he remained worry-free. Though the creature was stronger and faster post-transformation, ultimately, humans possess brains. Li Yifei suddenly made a fake move, so obviously fake that he barely did anything, yet the charging Type III Person still reacted to dodge.
Indeed, Li Yifei revealed a confident smile, his hand continually moving the Mohist War Blade, mixing real attacks with false ones. This series of instant bursts confused the advancing Type III Person. Its body flickered continuously, evading Li Yifei’s strikes, yet resulting in a barrage of blade energy and blade hits. Blood mist erupted continuously, its cries echoing.
As he withdrew, Li Yifei displayed satisfaction, looking at the Type III Person with one arm severed. He shook his head and coldly remarked, "Too weak."
"You should die!" The Type III Person seed to be less sensitive to pain but knew it was injured. Its eyes grew even bloodier as it glared at Li Yifei. If looks could kill... well, it wouldn’t matter anyway, since it’s impossible. Therefore, Li Yifei was disinclined to toy with it, having gauged the Type III Person’s approximate capability. He dashed in with a flurry of blade lights, the Type III Person’s still colossal body fell, its head rolling to the ground, and the remaining body unable to revive.
"Ultimately, it’s just genetic manipulation creating a freak. It’s unlikely to grow back its head," Li Yifei said as he wiped and sheathed the Mohist War Blade, speaking nonchalantly.
A single Type III Person was present; once dealt with by Li Yifei, no further trouble remained. He looked at the room that held the Type III Person, standing at the doorway, surveyed briefly, but refrained from entering. Inside were blood and mutilation, stench and rancidness, which Li Yifei chose to avoid.
After confirming that there were no living people on this level, Li Yifei turned around with his blade and walked back. By now, the entire island had been basically flattened by the two of them. Of course, there would still be so who escaped, but that was no longer important. What they needed were these escapees. Without them, how could they spread the ssage, how could they make the people of Noah’s Ark angry?
Once the decision was made to take action, it was all about tearing the facade with those people. Li Yifei wanted to force Murong Zheng out. Even without ntioning the relationship with Murong Yuanqing, the actions of Noah’s Ark alone were enough to anger Li Yifei, even making him want to kill this person and his organization. One only needed to look at the outco of the Yamaguchi Group to understand Li Yifei’s temperant.
If I don’t provoke you, then don’t provoke , otherwise I’ll chop off your hands and break your legs. Of course, this was a thod for enemies, not compatriots. So, was Murong Zheng a compatriot? Clearly, Li Yifei did not treat him as one.
A few minutes later, having cleared the topmost floor of the island, Li Yifei waited for a mont, and the Saintess also finished her sweep and erged from another exit.
The Noah’s Ark Organization was quite arrogant. Their defensive strength on this island was weak, not only in terms of personnel but even their entire defense system was weak. The limited formation thod was rely for concealnt without any offensive capabilities. Therefore, when facing attacks from the two top masters of the era, the island was practically undefended. The only master was Randolf, but he beca a weakling in the face of Li Yifei.
"I encountered a Type III person!" Li Yifei spoke first.
The Saintess tidied her hair, smiled, and said, "I encountered so too."
"How many?"
"Three."
"Uh... you’re not hurt, are you?" Li Yifei quickly asked with concern, his eyes sweeping over the Saintess, fearing she might have been injured.
The Saintess said, "Am I that weak?"
"That’s not what I ant, mainly... Type III people aren’t weak, so I was worried you’d get hurt."
"Let’s go, I’m not injured. Although those three guys were a bit tricky, they’re ultimately artificial monsters, lacking intelligence, so dealing with them wasn’t difficult!" said the Saintess.
Li Yifei couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. He had just dealt with one and was a bit complacent, only to find out the Saintess had killed three by herself...
"Did you call for a fighter jet?!" Li Yifei was about to speak when he saw a fighter jet swiftly approaching from the distant clouds.
"Nope!"
"Not good, jump quickly!" Li Yifei said, grabbing the Saintess’s hand and rushing towards the shore, leaping off.
The Saintess was also alert, and the two jumped into the water, swimming out at full speed.
At full speed, their pace was astounding, swiftly cutting through the waves and swimming less than two hundred ters away. Li Yifei suddenly grabbed the Saintess, quickly diving down, and found a reef at a depth of more than twenty ters, where two layers of True Qi Armor swiftly emanated from Li Yifei’s body as he held the Saintess in his arms.
Boom, boom! Continuous explosions sounded, and massive energy surged through the water. Had they still been swimming in the water just now, the re diffusing energy would have been enough to injure them. The energy slamd against the reef, instantly stirring up nurous stones.
This was only the first wave and not the strongest. Several consecutive waves of energy followed, causing stones to fly and even the fish in the water to be unlucky. The great white sharks swimming around the island were hit first, torn to pieces by the blast and explosion, which could be considered a public service.
The whole process lasted only a minute or two, which wasn’t long but was enough to make one’s heart tremble.
