"Wife, don’t worry about this matter. The Naless Senior has already said there’s a way. Your husband will give it his all to make it happen and extend Grandpa’s life," Li Yifei sat in the car, patting his chest as he promised.
He had just co out from the old man’s place not long ago when he received a call from Su ngxin, who was concerned about her grandpa and called as soon as she was free. Li Yifei did not hide anything and explained the situation to her.
Upon hearing that her grandpa only had six months to live, Su ngxin couldn’t remain calm no matter what, so Li Yifei quickly comforted her.
Listening to Li Yifei’s promise, Su ngxin gradually cald down. She said, "Husband... I’m counting on you for this. I know everyone has to die eventually, but if Grandpa leaves now, I’ll feel... very sad."

After hanging up the phone, Li Yifei placed his hand on the steering wheel. The old man was in a bad mood, and he wouldn’t get a warm welco if he returned. She donated the money she earned from part-ti jobs to the animal rescue center and often volunteered there. If he wanted to buy a cat, she seed to be the right person to ask.
Li Yifei had her number, found it quickly, and hesitated before dialing. He rembered how the last incident at the hospital had caused so trouble for Wu Youu, and wondered if it was appropriate to contact her now.
A cat... Hmm, might as well call, Li Yifei thought as he dialed the number. It rang four tis before being hung up on, which made Li Yifei purse his lips. He considered many possibilities but didn’t expect she would hang up, which left him feeling a bit puzzled.
Driving around, Li Yifei aimlessly cruised the city in this attention-grabbing car, trying to spot a pet store. Wu Shuwei had said they needed a purebred cat, and Li Yifei wasn’t sure he’d be able to pick one without getting scamd.
About ten minutes later, Li Yifei’s phone rang. He glanced at the number, answered it, and a pleasant voice ca through, sounding sowhat unsure, "Li... Big Brother, is it you?"
"Why aren’t you calling
Uncle anymore?" Li Yifei teased.
After a brief pause, a cheerful voice replied, "It really is you, Uncle!"
"How did I beco Uncle again?" Li Yifei asked with a laugh.
"Hehe!" Wu Youu giggled before saying, "Anything’s fine, it doesn’t really an anything anyway."
"That’s true, haha!" Li Yifei agreed.
"I was in class earlier, couldn’t answer the phone, but now class is over. Uncle, to what do I owe the pleasure?"
"What pleasure? Are you treating
like your boss?" Li Yifei asked.
Wu Youu blinked and smiled, "Okay then, let
rephrase that. Uncle, why did you call ?"
"Can’t I call you without a reason... Uh, okay, there is a reason," Li Yifei started to say he didn’t need a reason to call, but realized it sounded too ambiguous. This was Li Ying’s sister and his own friend, and he couldn’t be too flirty. Besides, he recalled that this girl seed to like him a little too, which made flirting even more inappropriate.
"So... what is it?" Wu Youu asked, also a bit puzzled, as she hadn’t imagined there was anything she could help Li Yifei with.
Li Yifei then explained, "I want to buy two cats, and I thought of you. I rember your brother said you often help with stray animal rescues. Do you happen to know anyone who sells cats?"
"Uncle... I’m into rescuing stray animals, not selling cats and dogs. Besides, if you want to have a cat, I could just find you a hundred or so. Buy one and get a hundred free," Wu Youu jested, rolling her eyes.
Li Yifei laughed heartily, not offended but explaining, "I’m buying them as a gift, not for myself. If it were for , I wouldn’t be picky about the breed."
"Hmph, it’s just fake compassion!" Wu Youu said while tilting her head to talk on the phone, kicking away a pebble at the sa ti. The rebellious pebble bounced off the leg of a passing male student, startling him. Just as he was about to get angry, he turned his head and saw an exceptionally beautiful girl. The student, who was shorter than Wu Youu, imdiately lost his temper.
Wu Youu stuck out her tongue and said, "Sorry, I didn’t notice."
Li Yifei was puzzled about what the apology was for, when he heard a male voice say, "Nothing, nothing, go ahead and kick!"
Wu Youu stepped away, unable to resist laughing as she recounted the incident to Li Yifei.
Li Yifei chuckled and said, "Let’s talk business first. It’s best if we can buy it today!"
"What breed of cat? I know a few cat sellers, but I’m not too familiar with them!" Wu Youu said.
"Let
see first. I’m planning to buy two Ragdolls, preferably a pair with different ancestry!" Li Yifei said.
"Ragdolls? Uncle, are you sure? Ragdolls are quite expensive. Oh, never mind, I forgot you’re a tycoon!" Wu Youu said, rolling her eyes again.
"Here’s the deal, contact them and try to purchase them as soon as possible. If we can buy them today or tomorrow, I’ll personally sponsor you so money to help you rescue those stray pets!" Li Yifei said.
Wu Youu snorted and said, "Big tycoon, do you think I’m soone who would bend for money?"
"Na your price..." Li Yifei’s voice softened a bit, seemingly lacking confidence.
"You’re insulting !" Wu Youu shouted.
"Girl, I truly don’t an it that way. It’s a request from a friend, and I’m not very sure how to go about it, so I ca to you. But I’ve wanted to help with your stray pet rescue for a while now. It’s a good cause worth supporting!"
"Then how sincere are you, big tycoon?" Wu Youu asked.
"You na it."
"If you don’t seem sincere, if I say it, won’t that be extorting you!"
"Then... a million?" Li Yifei nad a figure, well, that’s quite a fortune. Though in the Capital City it wouldn’t buy a big house, in so smaller cities this could be a large house plus renovations, maybe coupled with a car, and potentially so money left to buy a job through connections.
Li Yifei casually ntioned a million, shocking even the knowing Wu Youu. She quickly said, "I can’t take that much from you, Uncle, just give ten thousand, just as a token of appreciation for the hard work."
"This girl..." Li Yifei shook his head and said, "How about this, you could also take
to your base for a visit, if my heart softens I’ll donate more!"
"Alright then, do you have ti now? I’m taking a bus to the rescue base, hmm, it’ll probably take an hour and a half. You drive there first!"
"I’ll co pick you up; wait for

Wu Youu thought it over and agreed.
Forty minutes later, Li Yifei appeared at the school gate, spotting Wu Youu by the roadside, holding a cup of milk tea in one hand and a book in the other, concentrating on her reading. Beside her was another cup of milk tea.
Dressed in a tracksuit, her long legs stretched out in sports shoes, Li Yifei noticed her feet weren’t big, guessing they were about size 38 or 39. Considering she’s a good 1.75 ters tall, this is notable.
Li Yifei slowly drove the car over and rolled down the window. Wu Youu seed absorbed in the book, her brow slightly furrowed, unsure if she was drawn by the plot or tackling a difficult problem, deeply contemplating. Li Yifei didn’t disturb her, tilting his head to watch her for a good five or six minutes. This girl, sipping milk tea and biting the straw in an amusing, puckering manner, akin to a baby nursing. Seconds later, as if rembering sothing, she suddenly looked up, catching sight of Li Yifei at the wheel, only three or four ters away, leaning on the steering wheel, head turned watching her, a smile on his face.
Wu Youu’s face flushed, she quickly stood up, tidied her clothes, placed the book in her backpack, walked over to open the car door, recalling the milk tea, she went back to retrieve it, returning to hand Li Yifei the un-drunk one, saying, "Uncle, this one’s yours, can you handle the original flavor?"
"I seem to... haven’t tried it before, let’s see!" Li Yifei smiled, accepting it, pointing to the passenger seat, saying, "Hop in!"
Wu Youu got into the car, pointed the direction, and Li Yifei started driving the way Wu Youu indicated.
