Chapter 2175: Chapter 2238: Never Forgot How to Kill

As Li Yifei and Wu Shuwei were diving into the underground river, a woman holding a child floated along the water towards the tribe. Perhaps the river course had changed midway, so this woman had switched to a very thick piece of wood. That section of wood floated in the water, and the woman stood on it holding the child. She stopped again because she had once again lost her target. The wood lay horizontally on the water surface, and the woman had an expressionless face, showing no emotions.

Similarly, three other people also stopped. The two conjoined n started to fight imdiately, while the man in the black robe sat down again to start cultivating and recovering.

At this mont, Li Yifei was leading Wu Shuwei, swimming along the underground river.

In the darkness, Wu Shuwei had nothing to hold onto, so she could only cling tightly to Li Yifei. The current was very strong, and Li Yifei protected Wu Shuwei in his arms, using both hands and feet to prevent Wu Shuwei from hitting anything. He didn’t mind if he was hit. After swimming tensely in the dark water for over ten minutes, Li Yifei suddenly saw a wide-open view ahead. Following the flow, Li Yifei and Wu Shuwei swam out. They were still so distance from the surface, even twenty ters deep underwater. Li Yifei didn’t rush to the surface, worried about Wu Shuwei’s body. He transferred oxygen over while protecting her body with True Qi and only began to slowly ascend when they had adjusted to the water pressure.

Finally, after more than a minute, Li Yifei brought Wu Shuwei to the surface. Despite it still being very dark outside, there was at least starlight and moonlight. Floating on the surface, Wu Shuwei breathed heavily, with excitent flashing in her eyes. Li Yifei supported her body so she wouldn’t have to exert any effort to float.

Finally able to breathe more easily, Wu Shuwei looked around. With her vision, everywhere seed to be a dark water surface, leading her to ask, "Are we on a lake?"

"Yes, but not far from the shore. Once you’re ready, I’ll take you across."

"Yeah, I can use so strength myself; you’re tired too!"

"Let’s go, rest when we reach the shore." Li Yifei continued supporting Wu Shuwei’s waist, allowing her to swim with minimal effort. They were in a large lake, and though the water was calm at night, there were hidden dangers beneath. Li Yifei sensed over ten large animals or fish, judging by their size they were likely crocodiles.

However, when he released his aura, the crocodiles didn’t dare to approach, wishing to flee away to avoid Li Yifei.

Less than a hundred ters from the lake shore, Li Yifei suddenly stopped. Wu Shuwei’s hands were still paddling, propelling her a distance away. She quickly stopped and looked back at Li Yifei, asking, "Why aren’t you swimming?"

Li Yifei had suddenly felt a pang of anxiety, though he couldn’t identify its source at first. Seconds later, he pinpointed the direction of the anxiety. Without speaking, he supported Wu Shuwei and swam quickly, even diving underwater to carry her. Wu Shuwei was confused but sensed sothing was wrong. Less than thirty ters from shore, Wu Shuwei finally saw what was happening.

She saw a woman holding a child on a piece of wood, rapidly approaching. It wasn’t accurate to call it swimming, as it was just a piece of wood moving swiftly without apparent propulsion.

Wu Shuwei patted Li Yifei, who was still swimming fast, clearly intending to escape the woman.

The woman remained silent, carrying an ominous aura. The distance between them continuously shortened. Less than ten ters from the shore, the woman caught up with Li Yifei and Wu Shuwei. Simultaneously, Li Yifei noticed the woman was followed by about twenty to thirty crocodiles. As the woman stopped, these crocodiles also halted, floating on the surface with fierce eyes exposed.

Li Yifei licked his lips, sensing a dangerous aura from the woman, indicating she was a powerful individual. When she was far away, Li Yifei had already detected her presence.

Releasing his aura, yet she dared to approach. This signified she wasn’t afraid of Li Yifei, and her gaze toward him looked like she was viewing a dead man, with an air of superiority. Li Yifei paused for only a few seconds, then deliberately pulled Wu Shuwei towards the shore again.

The woman was frightening enough on her own, not to ntion the twenty to thirty crocodiles floating on the surface, glaring and ready to attack. Wu Shuwei’s lips trembled, but knowing Li Yifei was there, she gritted her teeth, striving to control her emotions. Upon reaching the shore and stepping onto solid ground, Wu Shuwei said, "Yifei, don’t worry about ; I can take care of myself. You... be careful."

"Okay." Li Yifei gave Wu Shuwei a reassuring look, standing in front of her and facing the woman who had also co ashore.

The woman was holding a swaddled child, but Li Yifei noticed the child inside seed long dead, essentially a mummy emitting a foul odor, explaining the strange aura surrounding the woman, which was in fact an aura of death.

He looked at the woman, who was also scrutinizing Li Yifei. When they reached the shore, the woman coldly said in English, "Are you the one who killed Zarang?"

Actually, the question was unnecessary. The image Zarang transmitted before his death was of Li Yifei’s appearance, and moreover, he carried a unique aura of a killer. Otherwise, the woman wouldn’t have pursued him here.

Coincidentally, the lake was located beside the tribe, the direction from which the woman had co, enabling her to be the first to find Li Yifei.

With a light smile, Li Yifei, calmly practicing, responded, "Yes, that was ."

"Good, then you shall die now!" The woman spoke with the intent to attack.

"Wait a minute." Li Yifei shouted, raising his hand to stop her. The woman’s aura hesitated, seeing Li Yifei turn around, taking Wu Shuwei’s hand, and infusing True Qi into it, saying, "Let

dry your body first, so you don’t catch a cold."

"Huh?" Wu Shuwei exclaid softly. Even at such a mont, Li Yifei still thought about her, especially sothing so minor. She didn’t know what to say, biting her lip. After everything, she couldn’t fathom what defined a good man. If Li Yifei was a bad man, these actions of his would certainly touch her.

"Don’t be too moved; I’m just worried you’ll catch a cold and not look pretty with a runny nose!" Li Yifei said with a smile.

Wu Shuwei subconsciously sniffed, and seeing Li Yifei about to let go of her hand, she grasped it tightly, saying with slight force, "Be careful. This woman is very strange."

"Hmm, don’t worry. Don’t fear those crocodiles; they won’t dare to move recklessly." Li Yifei squeezed her hand, pointing to a rock for her to sit on before turning around.

The woman appeared patient, waiting for Li Yifei to finish before saying softly, "I didn’t expect you to be so gentle."

"Well, I try!" After the ordeal in the dungeon and underground river, Li Yifei had about half of his True Qi remaining. Although not much, it wasn’t insignificant either. Faced with this eerie woman, Li Yifei felt reasonably confident.

Having encountered over five African wizards, Li Yifei had a certain understanding of their abilities. Though not weak, they weren’t exceptionally strong either. However, upon this woman’s arrival, Li Yifei wouldn’t underestimate her. With just a day, even less than half a day, after killing Zarang, for her to find him in such a short ti was indeed impressive.

"Don’t waste ti. After killing you, my child still needs to sleep," the woman said impatiently.

"Could I know your na?"

"? They call

the Killing Star because I serve the Grim Reaper."

"An interesting na. One more question, do you, or should I say your group, have to kill ?"

"Yes, you must die!" The woman’s response was devoid of emotional color. The word "die" induced a shiver deep in the soul, and Li Yifei felt a strong spirit enveloping him.

Though not skilled in spirit attacks, Li Yifei was not easily affected by them.

The crocodiles began to stir, slapping their tails against the water and snorting, seemingly ready to pounce. Li Yifei let out a low sound, and the crocodiles quieted down, even sinking into the water.

"Impressive, so ability. I thought of having the crocodiles bite you to death, but they seem to be on strike now," the woman remarked.

Actually, the woman was quite unattractive. To Li Yifei, African won appeared ugly, especially with pure black skin. But her facial features were particularly peculiar, adding to her unattractive deanor.

"The crocodiles aren’t reliable, but killing

won’t be easy either." As Li Yifei spoke, he frowned slightly. His small gesture imdiately disrupted the woman’s secret spirit attack. Her expression subtly changed. She had tried two different approaches to test Li Yifei, both thwarted, so her assessnt of his strength increased.

"It seems I have to deal with you personally. I haven’t acted in ten years; you should feel honored." As she spoke, her left hand still holding the child, she reached out with her right. Her black, slender, and very long fingers extending beyond the usual concept of length flickered with an aura of death, black qi seeping out.

Li Yifei laughed heartily, "Not fighting for ten years? That’s a bad thing; you might have forgotten how to fight."

"Forgotten how to fight, but killing is sothing I always rember, never forgotten!" She concluded and suddenly charged toward Li Yifei.
