Chapter 2156: Chapter 2219: Already Found?
Removing the knife from Jim’s neck, Li Yifei looked at the slight cut on his skin, turned around, walked a few steps in the room, picked up the photo, and said, "Is this you as a child?"
"Uh, yes, I was young back then. I hid this photo and buried it underground. When I ca back here, I dug it up. Okay, I must admit this was originally my family’s house, but it got occupied. When I returned a few days ago, I shot the person, and kept his wife, because she looked beautiful!"
"You have quite a few lies. I’m afraid you won’t make it to heaven after you die." Li Yifei said with apparent regret.
Jim grinned, wiped the blood from his neck, and said, "How could I go to heaven? I just hope my parents and sister are happy in heaven! Over the years, I have missed them the most, especially my sister who took care of
more than my mother when I was little. My mories are filled with images of her. Unfortunately, she was killed!" Jim said, looking at Li Yifei, and added, "I also want to kill General Lion, but it’s very difficult, extrely difficult, and even if I could kill him, it wouldn’t an anything. Chaos will still reign here; children, mine or others, will still face a tragic fate. So, it’s better not to have them. Once I’m dead, they’ll be spared from disaster."
"You seem open-minded, but what if your sister isn’t dead?" Li Yifei asked, turning around.
"That’s impossible. I’ve checked. My sister was beaten to death." Jim shook his head, smiling bitterly, and said, "I can’t believe I am discussing this with you. Perhaps it’s because I feel we have the sa mission, but I will continue to endure, climb the ranks, and one day get close enough to the General Lion, maybe even replace him. Then it will be much easier to kill him."
"So?"
"So, please spare . If you want to kill General Lion, go ahead. I can guide you, but I can’t expose myself. Of course, I’m not a good person either; I deserve to die!"
"Who is Agima Nana to you?" Li Yifei suddenly changed the subject. Jim imdiately widened his eyes and jumped up, but his knees were weak after kneeling too long and he almost fell on the bed, supporting himself, staring at Li Yifei, and asked, "Sir, what did you say?"
"Agima Nana, I believe that’s the pronunciation." Li Yifei said.
Jim imdiately nodded and said, "That’s my sister, but how do you know?"
"What if I say this woman asked
to co here to find her brother; would you believe ?"
"I believe it, yes, I will. My God, could it be that my sister is still alive? Sir, please tell ." Jim asked urgently.
Li Yifei chuckled and said, "Yes, she’s alive and married, living well. Compared to here, her life is heaven."
"Oh my God, is this true?" Jim dropped to his knees with a thud, blinking a few tis, as Li Yifei continued, "But your brother-in-law is a Huaxia man, a great man, strong and capable, protecting your sister well. Back then, your sister saved him, and they both hid in a cave and escaped. She’s been looking for you all these years, even though you could have been dead."
"All this... I can’t believe it. How could it be such a coincidence? No, no, I’m not doubting you. I’m just finding it hard to accept. I always thought my sister was dead, even thought I could only see her photo in this life..." Jim held his head, not in pain, but in disbelief.
"It’s a pity there’s no phone; otherwise, you could have a call, but no hurry; they’re less than two hundred kiloters away!" Li Yifei said, "Since you’re their relative, I won’t kill you. Take
there, and you can go free, I won’t trouble you!"
"No, no, Sir, if that’s the case, I really suggest you don’t go because it’s very dangerous. General Lion is extrely cautious in protecting himself. When he sleeps, there are a dozen guards outside. If you go alone, it will surely be dangerous."
"No problem!" Li Yifei said, "Just tell
what General Lion is like."
"Uh... General Lion is actually very short, about one ter seventy or so, thin because he has been consuming drugs and won for years, making him physically weak. The weaker he is, the more he guards his safety. But he’s only in his thirties, though he looks old."
Basically saying nothing, Li Yifei raised an eyebrow and said, "I’ve noted it down, thank you, Jim. If there’s nothing else, you can go find your sister now. I’ll also tell you their location. When you go, ntion your brother-in-law’s na, and soone will naturally take you there."
"I... I won’t go, but I can go find out about the situation of the people you ntioned. If they are injured and return, soone will definitely know about it. I can also ask what their plans are for you."
"Good."
Ten minutes later, Li Yifei stood by the bed, where a black woman lay unconscious, and gunfire echoed around him. He heard footsteps returning—it was Jim running back without anyone following him. As soon as he saw Li Yifei, Jim said, "Sir, those people did return, and General Lion has already decided to send people to trouble you tomorrow, but I haven’t found out the specifics yet."
"That’s about it. As long as it’s confird they haven’t moved yet." Li Yifei casually threw the knife, embedding it into the wall, or more precisely, directly into the structure beyond. After the trembling, Jim saw the knife more than halfway in, finally understanding Li Yifei’s true strength.
"Be sure to stay safe," Jim thought as he watched Li Yifei’s retreating figure.
Li Yifei felt that Jim still had so conscience. If he were an irredeemably evil person, Li Yifei might have acted earlier.
Navigating through the darkness, Li Yifei skillfully bypassed several checkpoints, entering a building. According to Jim’s description, General Lion usually resided here. Standing on the third-floor roof, Li Yifei sensed people inside the house, even six people, but he couldn’t discern General Lion’s presence or aura.
This was probably the best house in the small town. Coming down from the third floor, Li Yifei encountered a man, a bare-chested black man wearing a vest. The two were separated by a wall. As Li Yifei suddenly appeared, he noticed the man didn’t change expression, his eyes remained glazed, and he leaned softly against the wall.
Inhaling deeply, Li Yifei caught a scent, realizing the man was high, so he made no courtesy, chopping at the man’s neck and knocking him out.
After several similar encounters, Li Yifei reached the second floor, which was empty, with three people on the first floor.
"The darned General isn’t here!" Li Yifei reached the first floor and realized the situation upon seeing the three people. He imdiately turned and dashed back out. Just as he reached the entrance, a group charged in, led by a short man surrounded by others.
Two others were also brought in, tied up, with Li Yifei recognizing them as two white people.
Just looking at their appearance, one couldn’t guess much, but due to earlier colonial tis, many white people remained, like in South Africa. After the end of white rule, they beca lower-class, and even slums of impoverished whites appeared, in dire straits.
However, these two weren’t likely locals from Africa, as that ordinary-looking, or perhaps even ugly among blacks, General Lion pointed at them, saying, "A million US dollars each, and I won’t trouble you. I know you’re wealthy people, so don’t bother denying it."
The two white n imdiately shook their heads, saying, "We have no money..."
"Take them away. No money can cost you your lives." General Lion smiled faintly, with a dimple on the right side of his cheek, apparently from a gunshot, sothing Li Yifei hadn’t heard of.
Several n imdiately stepped forward and dragged the two white n away, ignoring their struggles and cries.
Once they were removed, General Lion suddenly snickered, looked at a few subordinates, and asked, "Have all your tasks been completed?"
"General, all completed, except... Labley’s task. He went out with n, and you know what happened!"
"Hmm!" General Lion grunted, saying, "Tomorrow, take people to visit. If we waive ten million, we won’t bother them; otherwise, heh."
"Yes!" The subordinates imdiately agreed.
General Lion took out a gun, toyed with it, and said, "Let’s leave it for today. Don’t provoke the governnt army for now; if they don’t move, neither do we. I’ve heard they’ve gotten so weapons recently and are quite cocky."
"General, we’re not afraid. We’ll kill all the enemies for you," said a woman Li Yifei scrutinized closely. Her body was covered in tattoos, even her entire face was tattooed—a living canvas.
"Alright, it’s late. Go prepare my evening al!" General Lion nodded slightly.
The woman imdiately acknowledged, turned, and left. Li Yifei, hidden in the shadows, was pondering what they would eat when, two or three minutes later, the woman returned with a child, only about a year old, not even that. Li Yifei’s eyes widened imdiately.
