Chapter 1944: Chapter 2007: Hocoming

When heading to the private airport, Li Yifei couldn’t help but secretly lick his lips. Each woman’s taste is sowhat different, and the feeling of kissing also varies. This depends on their skill level, individual physical conditions, and personality. Of course, the taste in the mouth also affects the sensation of the kiss.

The won at ho were all attentive to this aspect, so there was no worry about kissing garlic breath or any other unpleasant taste. The first ti he kissed Wu Shuwei, Li Yifei found himself savoring it. Her reciprocation was naturally clumsy, never quite getting the hang of it, often losing in the accidental ’tongue fights’ with Li Yifei. However, her unyielding spirit and determination to fight back left a deep impression on Li Yifei.

Smacking his lips, Li Yifei brushed his slightly longer hair and muttered, "Yet another fateful encounter, sigh!"

Aiming not to get entangled yet ending up being the one kissed, Li Yifei surprisingly considered Wu Shuwei’s perspective. Initially, it was just a gentle brush of lips, but he kindly turned it into a wet kiss, even drawing the attention of many boarding passengers around. Fortunately, in a foreign land, there weren’t many yellow-skinned people around.

After this kiss, Wu Shuwei might savor it for a long ti, Li Yifei pondered, and indeed, he had been reminiscing as well.

Arriving at the airport, Li Yifei saw Sarama with red eyes. After a brief reunion, they had to part ways again. When would they et next? Sarama didn’t know, making her reluctant to let Li Yifei and the won leave—particularly Li Yifei. The other won didn’t matter as much to her.

"Co on, girl, give

a hug," Li Yifei smiled, opening his arms. Sarama nodded vigorously, took a deep breath, and rushed into his embrace.

"Mmm..." Despite Li Yifei’s strong build, he took two steps back. The reason was none other than Sarama’s... very impressive and springy chest, pushing him back.

Sarama didn’t mind this at all. Embracing Li Yifei, she exerted force as if trying to rge herself into him, to beco one.

The few won stood watching from afar. Su Lio had long been aware of Sarama’s feelings for Li Yifei. Slightly curling her lips, she couldn’t understand what was so great about this man that every woman seed enchanted by him. Hmph, is it really fun for many people to share one man?

This thought stayed hidden in her heart; Su Lio wouldn’t voice it out.

Inevitably, even the longest hug must co to an end. Sarama took several deep breaths to rember Li Yifei’s scent before releasing him and said, "Golden Eagle, my hero, you’re always welco here. Please don’t forget Sarama, a lovely little girl."

"Haha, of course, I won’t forget. Once you finish your service, you’ll be free to visit us anyti in Huaxia, and the Li family always welcos you," Li Yifei said.

Sarama nodded strongly. As it was almost ti, she bid farewell to each of the won and escorted them to the plane. At this mont, Sarama dearly wanted to go back with Li Yifei, but she held back. Waving her hand, Sarama stepped back, watching as the airplane slowly took off, heading to the sky.

On the plane, the won looked relaxed, reminiscing about their experiences in Dubai. Over on the company’s side, after several pressures, things were finally back on track. Trustworthy individuals were placed in key positions, allowing the two won to return ho without much worry.

Li Yifei also had his fill of warfare, even utilizing drone missiles. This life amidst a hail of bullets thrilled Li Yifei, embedded in him at the genetic level—he loved this kind of life.

But with a family and a business now, Li Yifei knew to have limits. Before leaving, he rely made a phone call to Ayurhan, the current head of the Anchor Organization, giving so instructions without asking him to co say goodbye.

The Middle Eastern trip was coming to an end. A few hours later, the plane landed at the provincial capital airport, and the Li family had already arranged a vehicle to pick them up. Li Yifei brought the won ho. Despite traveling for hours, the won weren’t very tired, given the comfort emphasized on private planes. Once ho, seeing all their sisters, they imdiately felt happy.

Li Yifei cuddled two children: a daughter and a son. The little ones were lively and recognized him, showing no signs of shyness.

After all the hustle, Li Yifei was responsible for keeping the kids entertained, while the won at ho began selecting gifts since they’d brought back too much—almost filling a car, piling like a small mountain in the living room.

The younger daughters received gifts too and happily went to pick them out, continually calling "Mom," and politely expressing their thanks.

Li Yifei then received a call from his old leader. He stepped out to find a quiet place to answer it.

"Hey, good boy, well done!" As soon as the call was connected, the old leader’s praise ca through.

Li Yifei chuckled, "Old leader, you seldom praise people..."

"Nonsense, don’t I praise you often enough?" The old leader said loudly, followed by, "This ti you did do a great job. I heard even the Iranian intelligence network couldn’t stop you. You went up against a whole country on your own!"

"Not really, just caught them off-guard," Li Yifei modestly replied.

The old leader laughed louder, and after a hearty laugh, he said, "Alright, praises aside, let’s get down to so serious matters."

I knew it, Li Yifei thought to himself. The timing of the call was no coincidence; they must have known the exact ti he got off the plane and reached ho. Assuming this with a grin, Li Yifei said, "What do you want to talk about, old leader?"

"Well, I heard you found that thing. What exactly is it?" the old leader asked.

Li Yifei scoffed, "Old leader, your way of putting it... What do you an ’what’s that thing I found?’ I’d like to ask you what exactly they were looking for!"

"You rascal, fine, I’ll be straightforward. They indeed wanted

to get that thing from you. But I’ve always been protective of my own. This ss they caused couldn’t be cleaned up, yet they dragged you into it. Even though you did an outstanding job, you faced so many dangers. These guys want to pick the fruit without doing anything themselves — I can’t agree to that," the old leader’s words relieved Li Yifei quite a bit.

After the old leader finished, Li Yifei said, "I have a recording of a captain they sent. This idiot, with his head stuffed with God-knows-what, ordered

to hand it over arrogantly, threatening violence if I didn’t. So, I taught him a lesson, and I’m sure he went back to complain."

"Yes, I know, and I gave them a good scolding. When asking a favor, you should have the right attitude. Acting like a boss while asking for help — they’re just too spoiled. Yifei, you know my stand, and I won’t ask you to hand it over. But, let

be honest, do you have that thing or not?"

"Honestly, old leader, I do have it. However, this wasn’t part of the mission. With their attitude, I wouldn’t hand it over, no matter what," Li Yifei stated.

"Well, you didn’t do anything wrong there. I personally support you in this, but now, can you tell

exactly what it is that made them so interested?"

"To be frank, even I don’t really know. It’s simply a box—brick-sized, rectangular, quite heavy, weighing about twenty or thirty pounds. There aren’t any visible seams or traces on its surface, and I have no idea how to open it," Li Yifei described.

The old leader made a sound of acknowledgnt, and after a while, he said, "Keep it with you, then. I thought it was sothing valuable — these guys are... I don’t even know what to say about them. Going to such lengths for a box."

"If I figure out what it is, I’ll certainly let you know, old leader."

"Forget it, I’m not really interested in such things. I still believe in the power of the military. During large-scale operations, individual bravery holds little significance. Isn’t there a saying that no matter how skilled you are, a kitchen knife is a match? Even the best won’t survive a missile."

This saying... Li Yifei was left speechless, but he knew the old leader’s character — forged by years of holding a gun, still a fiery temper in his old age, firmly believing in the truth that power grows out of the barrel of a gun. He didn’t contradict him.

"Thanks for the support, old leader!"

"Stop saying all that; you’re my man. They used you but didn’t provide proper rewards — of course, I disagree. Alright, it’s late, and I’ve had quite a bit to drink, so I’m off to bed. You take care too!"

With that, the old leader hung up the phone, not giving Li Yifei a chance to say goodbye.

Hearing the beeping tone, Li Yifei also hung up. This reminder made him think of that ’brick.’ Returning indoors, he noticed the won still sorting through gifts. He took the brick upstairs, bringing it out to study again.

The ’brick’ was heavy but nothing special. After fiddling with it for a while and trying to input so True Qi with no effect, he put it in the safe, planning to inquire with Murong Yuanqing and the others tomorrow.

Heading back downstairs, he saw many won had already left; only Su ngxin, Su Lio, and the Xu family sisters remained. There were still plenty of gifts left, and the few won were organizing them neatly into boxes. Whoever needed anything in the future could co and take it. Li Yifei helped with the sorting.

Once done, Li Yifei looked at the four won. Su Lio had just returned, and Su ngxin held her hand, inviting her to sleep together. Li Yifei shrugged, not saying much, whereas Xu Shanshan yawned and said, "Brother-in-law, I’m off to bed. After a hearty al, it’s ti to sleep."
