The visibility is remarkable, and Sarama’s ho is equipped with complete diving gear.
Xu Shanshan was particularly interested and pulled Li Yifei along, eager for him to take her underwater for a swim.
Li Yifei, respecting her interest, accompanied her into the water. When Su Lio caught sight of Li Yifei stripped down to his swim trunks again, she quickly turned away. Li Yifei then plunged into the water, staying under for two minutes before surfacing and shouting, "Catch this!"
Everyone watched as Li Yifei tossed several items onto the shore; to their amazent, he had caught several large crabs. The won were surprised, and a few minutes later, Li Yifei surfaced again with several fish.
Sarama quickly fetched a basin to hold the fish and crabs, saying, "We’ve got dinner sorted."
Xu Shanshan, unable to contain her excitent, jumped straight in without bothering to change into swimwear.
In half an hour, the two had caught enough fish and other seafood for a al. The won on the shore enthusiastically helped gather the catch into the basin.
That evening, they cooked the seafood they caught, with Li Yifei as the head chef and the won assisting him, preparing a sumptuous dinner.
After being well-fed, Li Yifei’s phone rang. Glancing at the number, he gestured to the won and walked back into the villa to answer the call.
He answered with a simple "Hello," and the voice on the other end burst into laughter before saying, "Kid, can you still recognize my voice?"
Li Yifei’s face imdiately broke into a smile as he replied, "Of course I can, old leader. What brings you to call
today?"
The caller was an old leader from Li Yifei’s military days, soone of high rank but rumored to be retired. He had taken care of Li Yifei back in the day, so his attitude was amiable. The other laughed warmly and said, "You rascal, even though you’ve left the unit, I’ve kept an eye on you. You’re not doing too badly, staying within the limits."
This was praise, and Li Yifei nodded slightly, pleased to receive a complint from his old leader. However, he remained silent, waiting for the leader to continue.
The old leader paused, noticing Li Yifei’s silence, and said, "You, you’re getting shrewder. Fine, I won’t beat around the bush. I’m calling because I need your help."
"Old leader, if you need my help, I technically can’t refuse, but I’ve been dismissed from the army; there are so things I can’t do," Li Yifei responded. The mont he received the call, he guessed the purpose; soone from the Northern Military District had reached out to the old leader.
"What? Are you still holding a grudge because I didn’t protect you back then?" the old leader imdiately raised his voice.
"Not at all, I’m just being honest."
"Who made you ss up back then? Otherwise, there’s no way they would have let go of a promising soldier like you. But, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise; you’re much better off now than in the army. I’ve heard that you’re quite revered locally, but I’m telling you, many people are watching you."
"If you put it that way... I’ll admit it. But everything I’ve achieved now is entirely due to my efforts," Li Yifei replied.
"Enough with the back-and-forth. You know my character; the people over there ssed up. They can’t handle the rescue, so they ca to
for help. Since you’re in that area, lend a hand," the old leader commanded, leaving no room for refusal.
Li Yifei rolled his eyes and sighed internally. It seed this damned task was unavoidable. Of course, he could directly refuse, and the old leader probably wouldn’t insist too much; after all, he was no longer part of the military. Still, if Li Yifei refused, the country would send others into that impenetrable nation... and it might be better for him to go instead.

Li Yifei didn’t want to put his comrades in danger. If others were sent, they might not match his capability, increasing the risk.
