After provoking the Zhao family, Li Yifei and the won of the Li family wouldn’t take things lightly. After waking up, Li Yifei, along with two won, freshened up and had breakfast with Old Master Ye and several important mbers of the Ye family. Old Master Ye brought up the Zhao family and shared so of the information he knew.

Li Yifei didn’t say much, as many details were still unclear. He only knew he had angered the second young master of the Zhao family and that Song Zude had allied himself with them. However, it was unclear what level of support the Zhao family would offer Song Zude, how angry Zhao the Second was, and how he’d retaliate. Consequently, no decision could be made lightly.

Old Master Ye understood, so he didn’t say much either, instead expressing his stance, saying, "If the Zhao family dares to cause trouble, the Ye family will support the Li family with all their might. Also, so families in the provincial capital will likely offer a helping hand."

Those other families likely included the Wang Family and so who wanted to befriend the Li family.

After listening, Li Yifei smiled and thanked Grandpa, assuring him the Li family would be cautious.

Leaving the Ye family with his two wives, Li Yifei didn’t hurry back but instead took them to a bustling comrcial street in the provincial capital.

Indeed, the three went for a shopping trip. But it wasn’t just the three of them; a little tag-along was Zhou Xiaoyue. The little girl had been clamoring about not seeing Chu Xiaoyao for a long ti and almost forgetting what Chu Xiaoyao looked like. This ti, she took the chance to see Chu Xiaoyao.

Li Yifei agreed, so the little tag-along was seated in the car, joining them for the shopping trip.

Su ngxin was scheduled to arrive by plane at noon, and the three were waiting for her to return together after picking her up.

Upon hearing about the Zhao family situation, Su ngxin imdiately returned, showing how seriously she regarded the Zhao family matter.

Of course, the Li family was quite prominent now, but that was only within the province, and it had only been a few years with their foundation unsteady and social connections limited. The Zhao family, on the other hand, was a top family in Southern Sky Province for decades, part of the first wave of pioneers after the founding of the nation. They often influenced regional or even half-national economic policies and trends and had a presence that could shake the ground in the south. While other won in the Li family had yet to feel deeply worried, Su ngxin was genuinely concerned, so she spoke with Old Master Su and booked a flight back.

Here, three won shopped together, with the two ladies picking out a few pieces of clothing for Zhou Xiaoyue, paid for by Li Yifei. This made Zhou Xiaoyue even happier. Despite her family’s wealth, she wasn’t given much pocket money, which was influenced by Old Master Ye’s established family traditions.

After picking up Su ngxin, the five of them shared one car, followed by Li family security in a convoy of three cars, as they headed back to Mile City.

Song Zude also learned of this, reporting it to Zhao the Second. Upon hearing Li Yifei was not only unafraid but even took won shopping, Zhao the Second smashed a cup in anger. The foul drinks he’d had made him retch while his nesis leisurely shopped with won, further inciting his rage. However, Zhao the Second hadn’t yet received any news from ho, leaving him unable to act.

Once ho, Su ngxin shared more information en route, summarizing that the Zhao family was formidable, extrely strong, and the Li family must not take this lightly; otherwise, they risked being crushed back to square one by the Zhao family.

After arriving ho, they convened a eting with family mbers to discuss the matter.

Li Yifei didn’t join the eting, despite having instigated the issue, as he had more important matters to attend to.

Murong Yuanqing called, so Li Yifei stepped out to answer.

"The culprit hasn’t been found yet, but..." Murong Yuanqing hesitated.

Li Yifei rubbed his eyebrows and said, "Elder Murong, you’re not worried about Noah’s Ark, are you?"

"Not sure yet, but there aren’t many with a motive for this... Hmm, let’s hold off on that talk. I contacted you today for another matter!"

"Alright, Elder Murong, please speak!"

Murong Yuanqing continued: "Yifei, the incident of you fighting with Satan has spread."

"Oh?" Li Yifei was truly unaware but wasn’t surprised, saying, "Many should know about this; it wasn’t ant to be a secret. The first ti on the island, nurous people noticed, and even the squad sent soone to assist ."

The previous instance was when he single-handedly challenged organizations globally to resolve an issue. In retrospect, it might have been a bit overambitious, but Li Yifei didn’t regret it much.

"This ti it’s different." Murong Yuanqing said seriously, "This ti, even the nation knows and is taking it seriously. The battle between you two has elevated to a certain level due to the nation’s involvent, so I wanted to give you a heads-up."

Upon hearing this, Li Yifei clicked his tongue and said, "Wait a minute, Elder Murong, I’m a bit confused. Neither Satan nor I now belong to the nation, right? Why has this beco a national issue? Isn’t this a private duel?"

"Your fight represents a battle between the world’s top strong n. You were once the Flying Hawk Squad’s captain, and Satan is a significant leader in a European organization, essentially affiliated with a certain group. Now both Russians and Aricans are watching this fight. Europe, Arica, and so African countries are observing it too."

Li Yifei blinked twice, still not understanding, and said, "But isn’t it overly emphasized?"

"Listen to !" Murong Yuanqing proceeded: "Now, the nation has secretly signed agreents with Africa and so Arican countries. These agreents cover arms exports and soldier training, among other things. Simply put, they pay us money, and we provide them with weapons and talent. At this mont, your fight with Satan is particularly crucial. Not only must you win, but win impressively to showcase our nation’s super advantages in military personnel training, convince those countries to comply and pay us to help train military personnel."

"And you, as the forr Flying Hawk Squad’s captain, represent Huaxia’s top military talent and the elite single-soldier combat ability. In other words, your good performance benefits the nation. If you fail, the nation will suffer trendously. Because of this importance, the nation really cares. I’m here to inform you and hope you’ll give it your all in the fight."

Li Yifei took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and said, "Elder Murong, I understand the importance but I don’t get why it’s ? Given this duel with Satan, shouldn’t soone else be representing a country’s combat power in such an...in such a contest?"
