Chapter 1621: Chapter 1673: Ferris Wheel Terror
The children’s amusent park in Mile City is quite large. It was expanded on the previous Mile City Park, combining leisure and entertainnt in one place. There is a lot of greenery and lawns in the park, and the air is great, so many people co here to play.
The tallest structure in the park is the Ferris wheel, which is claid to be the tallest in the province. Sitting on it, from the bottom to the top and back down again, one can buy a bunch of snacks and enjoy eating slowly while riding.
Li Yifei bought tickets and boarded the Ferris wheel with two kids and Chu Xiaoyao. The staff closed the door from outside.

Playing for so long made them hungry, but she managed to share the food with Dad, Mom, and her sister first. For this, Li Yifei nodded approval and gave Li Yufei a thumbs up.
There was plenty of food, and the Ferris wheel took enough ti to revolve, so they could eat slowly.
Li Yifei picked up the cara, taking photos of the two daughters and Chu Xiaoyao, then took selfies with them. Looking at the three little won pulling faces at the cara made Li Yifei laugh.
Just when the Ferris wheel was about to reach its pinnacle, Li Yifei happened to exchange seats with Li Yufei. As he sat down, his heart suddenly skipped a beat. He instinctively turned his head to look at the ground, as they were almost at the top by now.

Chu Xiaoyao had just told the kids a joke, ready to ask Li Yifei his thoughts, but seeing his unusually serious expression, she asked, "Honey, what’s wrong?"

The security had already returned to protect Li Yifei’s group after handling Li Shi’s situation, and there were four extra people, sent by the captain due to Li Shi’s earlier incident. Up in the air, the two kids were still chatting and playing, feeding each other bites of food, showing sisterly love. Chu Xiaoyao noticed Li Yifei’s odd expression. She asked twice, but Li Yifei didn’t respond, so she also looked below at the bustling crowd, seeing nothing unusual.
Li Yifei was checking one by one; his gaze followed the movent of the security. Then suddenly, that presence seed to disappear, as if nothing had happened. But Li Yifei did not believe he was mistaken; that powerful aura had indeed existed.
The security had reached the area Li Yifei suspected, finding only a few won and children, with no suspicious characters. On the phone, the security leader reported back. Li Yifei gripped the phone, frowning, and after half a minute, said, "Maybe I was wrong; all right, disperse."
The security leader signaled, and the eight dispersed automatically. But just as they turned to walk about ten or twenty ters, Li Yifei’s heart skipped again, and he shouted, "No, that’s wrong!"
His shout startled the playful daughters and made Chu Xiaoyao nervous. If not sothing serious, Li Yifei wouldn’t be this tense. Chu Xiaoyao quickly grabbed his arm, asking, "Honey, what’s really going on?"

People inside the Ferris wheel didn’t know what happened, just hearing a loud boom before it wobbled. So ventured a glance down to see the steel fra on one side had broken.
Cries erupted around. At the explosion, Li Yifei imdiately ordered over the phone, "Protect the other steel fras!"
The ground security remained calm amid the sudden accident. Hearing Li Yifei’s command, they split into two groups. Two stayed here, while others ran to the other side. There were four in total, two on each side.
After the Ferris wheel’s base exploded, those below were stunned, unaware of the cause, only hearing the explosion as the base broke. The steel cables binding the Ferris wheel began to strain, leaning to one side. Hundreds of these cables usually bore little stress because of the four bases, but with one broken, a slight tilt caused all of them to bear the load, making increasingly painful noise.
On the Ferris wheel, the topmost cabin where Li Yifei and Chu Xiaoyao were, was theoretically the most dangerous. If the Ferris wheel tilted, their height ant a hard fall. The Ferris wheel had stopped, forcibly halted by those below.
The cabins at the bottom had already evacuated; the rest hung in mid-air.
The kids didn’t understand what happened, looking quite relaxed. The second daughter even asked, "Dad, the car stopped! Is it for ?"
Li Yufei eagerly looked at the distant scenery but soon questioned, "Dad, did it break? Why do I hear shouting?"
Chu Xiaoyao, ashen-faced, clearly understood what happened and gripped the railing tightly, slightly rising to shield the kids.
Li Yifei remained still, eyes scanning below. The base was clearly blown open by explosives, intentionally done. Although he lost the dangerous presence when the bomb exploded, he sensed it again about a hundred ters away. People ran, leaving one man standing there with a hat and sunglasses, his features indiscernible.

Acknowledging no imdiate fix, they focused on saving others first while awaiting other solutions.
