Chapter 1568: Chapter 1620: Encounter and Pursuit
Strictly speaking, this isn’t really a highway encounter but a one-sided crush. The kidnappers weren’t prepared, and in just one or two minutes, three out of ten kidnappers in two cars were taken out, and seven were captured, all with varying degrees of injuries.
Angelina, who got out of the car afterwards, pointed at one of the kidnappers and shouted to Li Yifei, "It’s him, he and two others captured Wu, I rember very clearly!"
"Hmm." Li Yifei signaled that he understood and walked towards the kidnapper identified by Angelina.

A soldier ca over with a knife, handing it to Sarama. Sarama took the knife, frowned at it for a few seconds, her expression sowhat solemn. Li Yifei turned his head to look at her, sensing sothing amiss from Sarama’s expression.
Sarama passed the knife to Li Yifei and explained, "These people are from the Vulture Organization, a sowhat troubleso group."
"Vultures?"
"Yes, it’s a terrorist organization that roams across several countries. Their numbers... uncertain. They rarely infiltrate the UAE, so we seldom interact with them. This ti..." Sarama paused, looking at Li Yifei. Li Yifei said, "It’s okay, go on."
"This ti, for so reason, they kidnapped Wu, which is strange. This organization rarely takes on such jobs; they usually disdain such small tasks."
Hearing this, Li Yifei raised an eyebrow, chuckled, played with the knife, suddenly turned around, and thrust the knife into the kneeling terrorist’s shoulder. The knife went all the way in without piercing through, steering clear of bone and lodging into the flesh.

Sarama’s expression was also icy as she shook her head, "Killing a few terrorists is a military achievent instead!"
Li Yifei, without saying another word, grabbed the gun and fired repeatedly, directly killing three terrorists. The exploding gunshots scared the remaining terrorists senseless, including the one who had just confessed everything. Li Yifei said, "Leave one for , I’m getting on."
Sarama was slightly taken aback, but then she nodded and said, "Alright! One helicopter for each of us!"
Of course, this didn’t an the two of them would each fly a helicopter, though helicopters indeed were faster than ground vehicles. Li Yifei and Sarama each got on a helicopter, and they took off, with the ground troops following behind.
Li Yifei made a cautious gesture to Sarama, sitting in the co-pilot seat, and opened the navigation system, speeding off to pursue them.
Honda Takeshi and Tonohei were not feeling well at this mont. In fact, both of them were scared out of their wits.
Initially, they thought this was just a simple kidnapping case. Who would have thought it would escalate into such a situation? Upon learning that the military was dispatched to rescue, Honda Takeshi almost wet himself. He grabbed the Vulture leader’s clothes and asked him what was going on, why things had turned out this way when it was just a simple kidnapping, yet it had attracted the military.
The call clearly said there was a force over a hundred strong, plus several helicopters coming for them.
Tonohei didn’t look any better; he subconsciously glanced at the vehicle Wu Shuwei was tied up in, then quickly shook his head, convincing himself it couldn’t be that woman bringing all this trouble, probably sothing went wrong.
The Vulture leader pushed Honda Takeshi away, imdiately ordering a reconnaissance, while starting to prepare for an evacuation with his n. Though the number of people he brought this ti wasn’t much, just over twenty, which wasn’t nearly as many as the last ti Li Yifei dealt with the Anchor Organization. So he definitely wouldn’t face the army head-on, especially within foreign borders.
"Evacuate? What about us? You can’t leave us here!" Tonohei blocked the way, protesting. He was answered by the black muzzle of a gun, which imdiately silenced him. The Vulture leader coldly said, "Either co with us or stay here."
Honda Takeshi shivered, hurriedly pulling Tonohei and asking, "If we go with you, can you guarantee our safety?"
The leader gave him a sinister look without speaking, just getting into the car.
Honda Takeshi dared not ask any more questions, pulling Tonohei as they got into the car too, watching as soone brought Wu Shuwei along, shoving her into the vehicle.
These people began their escape. The vehicles were all off-road, moving at a decent speed on such terrain, though it was a bit bumpy.
Watching these people flee in panic, Wu Shuwei, although unable to hear their conversation, read sothing from each person’s expression. They were flustered, especially the two Japanese who had hired her abductors; their faces now looked the color of pig liver.
Li Yifei ca to rescue ! That was Wu Shuwei’s first thought, a surge of great joy welling up in her heart, causing her body to tremble slightly. Yet she controlled herself, stayed silent, and didn’t even lift her eyelids, maintaining her silence as if she were invisible. This was her form of self-protection.

And Li Yifei and the others, following the route given by that terrorist, were pursuing them.
