Chapter 1465: Chapter 1514: ng Xiaofei’s Assist
"Phew..." ng Xiaofei’s body was mid-flight when suddenly she fell, as her foot got caught by the bed board. She was in the air, but her foot was restrained, making her fall instantly.
The Ninja Sword of the ninja quickly slashed through the position where ng Xiaofei was originally, its incredibly sharp blade slicing off a few strands of ng Xiaofei’s hair.
It was absolutely ng Xiaofei’s good luck that saved her, allowing her to avoid the opponent’s fatal strike in such a manner. The ninja already understood that the woman who burst in was here to rescue soone, and with his companion severely injured, eviscerated, he had already beco wildly aggressive, determined to kill both ng Xiaofei and the woman who had broken in.
But unexpectedly, ng Xiaofei managed to dodge.
Sophia felt like she was on a roller coaster; her heart in her throat suddenly dropped. If ng Xiaofei were killed in front of her, Sophia felt that she wouldn’t want to live either and might as well commit suicide right here. Otherwise, how could she face Li Yifei?
Taking advantage of the mont when the ninja swung his sword out, sowhat puzzled, Sophia moved.
She lunged forward, her body flying horizontally, grabbing the ninja with both hands, instantly tackling him.
The Ninja Sword in the ninja’s hand was rendered useless, as he shouted and struggled with all his might, using his arms.
Sophia’s strength wasn’t small, but when compared to the ninja, it seed sowhat weaker, coupled with the fact that her shoulder had been slashed, with the wound deep enough to see the bone, rendering one arm useless, fighting single-handedly made her even weaker.
"Baka!" The ninja cursed repeatedly, instead pushing Sophia away, swinging a fist aiming to smash into Sophia’s face.
ng Xiaofei scrambled up from the bed, ignoring the pain in her lower leg, picked up the sword from the ground, holding it with both hands, and charged fiercely.
At this mont, she didn’t think about anything else, just wanting to save Sophia, swinging the sword to hack at him.
The Ninja Sword didn’t seem that heavy, but for ng Xiaofei, it was indeed quite hefty; even holding it with both hands felt sowhat strenuous.
This unintended strike surprisingly slashed towards the ninja who was ready to punch.
The wind brushed past the ninja’s head, and he quickly rolled aside to evade.
He dodged, but Sophia was right next to him, eyes wide open.
Seeing the unfavorable situation, ng Xiaofei quickly mustered her strength, and with a whack, the Ninja Sword slamd into the ground, directly chopping into the floorboard, embedding several centiters deep.
Sophia wanted to give ng Xiaofei a big eye roll, but she didn’t do so; instead, she forcefully twisted her body, tripping the escaping ninja with her legs.
Locking the opponent’s legs, she followed up with a fierce tackle.
"Dagger!" Sophia shouted, already pressing on the ninja, entangling the ninja’s legs with hers, reaching over with one arm, clutching the ninja’s neck.
"Baka!" The ninja cursed continually, unable to fathom how this woman could be so... ferocious, trading life for life earlier, dealing a killing blow to a companion, now fighting desperately. The woman captured a few days ago had been acting exceedingly weak, yet now dared to swing a blade at him.
The ninja struggled on the ground with all his might, Sophia tightly restraining him.
The two were in a stalemate for a mont.
After being stunned for a mont, ng Xiaofei heard Sophia’s words, rushed over using all four limbs, and grabbed Sophia’s dagger, realizing upon picking it up that it had already snapped in two, the remainder incapable of killing.
"It’s broken!" ng Xiaofei said, having no choice but to discard it, then rushed back, shouting, "I’ll help you!"
At that mont, ng Xiaofei was possessed by the god of courage, running over to help Sophia pin down the ninja using her body.
With two won on top of him, the ninja was also helpless. Lying in a prone position, his arms were useless, his legs were locked by Sophia, and his neck was choked, he felt his breathing beco uneven.
"Flying Dagger, I have one on my back!" Sophia looked approvingly at ng Xiaofei, directing her.
ng Xiaofei eagerly nodded, freeing one hand to search Sophia’s back, eventually finding the Flying Dagger.
Taking it out, ng Xiaofei prepared to stab the ninja below, but holding the Flying Dagger in hand, she hesitated to strike...
This hesitation gave the ninja an opportunity; he suddenly pushed his hands against the ground, attempting to dislodge the two won on him. Sophia locked him firmly, but ng Xiaofei was turned over, tumbling to the ground.
"Help
pin him down, I’ll do it!" Sophia urgently shouted.
ng Xiaofei quickly crawled up, forcefully jumped up, slamd her butt down, hitting the ninja’s waist with her hundred or so pounds of weight, effectively squashing the ninja’s resistance.
The ninja lay heavily on the ground, while ng Xiaofei handed the Flying Dagger to Sophia.
Sophia gripped the Flying Dagger with her incapacitated hand and mustered her strength again, swiftly stabbing down.
Squelch... The sound of the Flying Dagger piercing flesh echoed, planting itself firmly into the ninja’s neck, instantly burying halfway.
The neck can be said to be one of the most important parts of the human body. Being stabbed by this blade, the ninja instantly beca immobile, his body lost strength, and intense pain overwheld his brain, shrouding him in an aura of death.
Sophia freed the hand that was squeezing the ninja’s neck, released him, grasped the Flying Dagger, and forcefully pulled it out, then ruthlessly stabbed it back in again.
Blood sprayed out, splattering onto both ng Xiaofei and Sophia. Sophia had no reaction, while ng Xiaofei was sprayed in the face, she was sowhat scared out of her wits...
After several continuous stabs, the ninja beneath finally stopped moving, and only then did Sophia halt. But she didn’t catch her breath, for another ninja with his abdon slit had yet to die. She wielded the Flying Dagger, tossed it with precision, and finished off that ninja.
ng Xiaofei stared wide-eyed, sitting beside the ninja, her gaze sowhat vacant, not knowing what she was thinking.
Sophia glanced out the window; the recent fight had already drawn the attention of other ninjas, and there was still trouble ahead. Sophia had to figure out how to escape next.
Reaching out to pull up ng Xiaofei, Sophia said in a deep voice, "Follow behind
later, we’ll fight our way out."
ng Xiaofei’s gaze remained distant, she nodded subconsciously, murmuring, "I killed soone?"
"It’s
who killed them, and these people aren’t human. Just think of it like killing a cat or a dog," Sophia replied.
ng Xiaofei nodded, her eyes still sowhat adrift.
Sophia understood ng Xiaofei’s emotions, but there was no ti to console her. Glancing outside, there were three or four ninjas already surrounding them, each holding a sword.
Sophia tore off a section of a bedsheet, stuffed it into ng Xiaofei’s hand, and said, "Help
bandage up. In a mont, hide in the room, wait until I... finish them off, then co out."
ng Xiaofei promptly got to work, flustered, helping Sophia bandage her wounds.
Sophia had two wounds; one was below the ribs on her chest, not deep but the area was large, horizontally cut, bleeding a lot, causing the wound to show a kind of pallor. ng Xiaofei wrapped the bedsheet around Sophia’s waist first.
"Tie it tightly!" Sophia ordered.
ng Xiaofei hastily nodded, tears in her eyes, pulled twice forcefully, carefully watching Sophia. Seeing Sophia rely frown, ng Xiaofei quickly finished tying it, then grabbed another sheet, wrapping Sophia’s shoulder. This ti her actions were much more adept.
But Sophia herself felt very weak; the stab on her shoulder made that hand lose strength, even if tied tightly, it still caused her inconvenience.
She understood her responsibility, saving ng Xiaofei was her only goal at the mont. For this, she would stop at nothing, even if she herself fell here.
Sophia couldn’t let Li Yifei’s efforts be in vain; otherwise, they shouldn’t have co to Japan.
Sophia’s strength gave ng Xiaofei great courage. She ran over, picked up two Japanese swords, handed one to Sophia, held the other herself, puffed her chest, swallowed her fear, and said, "Sister Sophia, I’ll go out with you. Even if I can’t handle one person, I can hold half of one!"
Sophia glanced at ng Xiaofei, still shook her head, and said, "You must be safe, it’s my responsibility. Listen, your master didn’t co to rescue you, he’s dealing with soone more formidable, giving us ti and opportunity."
Outside the house, more ninjas gathered. Though not as skilled as the two inside, they had the advantage of numbers and were unhard, while Sophia had a wounded hand and injuries on her waist, her strength greatly reduced.
ng Xiaofei bit her lip, she had long wanted to ask where Li Yifei went, now she finally knew.
ng Xiaofei nodded vigorously, saying, "Sister Sophia, you go ahead. I will take care of myself. I have a sword, I’m not afraid of them."
Sophia responded with a slight nod, saying, "Help
tie the sword to my hand."
ng Xiaofei quickly obeyed. Once finished, Sophia shook her ninja sword, smiled at ng Xiaofei, then walked towards the door, not pausing to head outside.
Closing the door behind her, Sophia alone stood guard at the entrance, while outside the ninjas shouted angrily at her, raised their ninja swords, and slowly closed in.
Sophia’s thin lips gently pressed together, a corner of her mouth curled revealing a touch of stubbornness, also showing her determination.
With a sword in hand and blood at her waist, Sophia’s killer instinct fully erged.
Killers kill and can be killed; Sophia was prepared long ago, thus she was fearless, just like when she tried to kill Li Yifei. Even though Li Yifei was far stronger, she still aid to kill him.
Raising the sword in her hand, Sophia pointed it at those ninjas and said softly, "Co on."
This act enraged the ninjas, and in unison, they rushed towards Sophia.
Sophia held her sword single-handedly, her body moved forward, charging towards the ninjas.
The group fought together, while inside the room, ng Xiaofei peered through a crack in the door, watching the situation outside, tears streaming down her face.
She was no longer afraid, even facing the two corpses alone didn’t scare her; she held her sword tight, striving to control her emotions, not wanting to trouble Sophia.
And Sophia... she had morphed into a killing god; more and more ninjas rushed over, from three or four to seven or eight, to over ten, Sophia had no intentions of stopping.
