Chapter 1320: Chapter 1370: Escalation of Conflict

Lin Qiong charged forward, and the other won followed suit. Even Jiang Ningxiang and Xu Shanshan joined the fray, though not to fight those n directly—they went to protect ng Xiaofei and Chu Xiaoyao since these two didn’t have the strength to fight. If they tried, they’d definitely end up suffering.

Watching this crowd of won rush at a group of n, even those from prominent families were left dumbfounded. The parents of these girls were even more shocked, their eyes bulging in disbelief, thinking, "This might not end well. How could girls possibly fight against so many n?"

The n were about to jump into action when Li Yifei smiled and said, "Relax, just let them have so fun."

Hearing this, the group hesitated. Since Li Yifei seed confident, they figured there was no need to worry. Looking at the scene unfolding, they soon realized their concerns were entirely unwarranted.

Except for Song Lianyao and Xiao Ling’er—who were resting at the hotel due to pregnancy—the twelve won were taking on more than twenty n, and it truly looked like a ga. Those n, though large and fierce, couldn’t land a single hit. Instead, the won’s punches and kicks consistently landed on the n.

Now, Xu Yingying and the others were far stronger than they had been before. In the past, when Li Yifei took Chu Xiaoyao and the others with him to fight, their punches barely hurt anyone, maybe just leaving so marks on their faces. But now, whenever they hit their opponents, the pain was intense. And that was them holding back! If they didn’t, Xu Yingying’s earlier angry kick would’ve incapacitated the opponent entirely.

The stunned parents and relatives of these beauties had no idea their daughters could fight like this. They stared, utterly dumbfounded, almost unable to believe their eyes. If they hadn’t seen it from the very start, they’d suspect this was just a staged movie scene. How else could fewer won defeat so many n?

mbers of prominent families had a different thought process. Ning Xin’er’s father, Xiao Ling’er’s father, along with the fathers of Zheng Yuling and Su ngxin, gathered around Li Yifei, looking at him skeptically. Su ngxin’s father asked, "Is this all your doing?"

Li Yifei smiled faintly and replied, "More or less. I just taught them so self-defense techniques."

Zheng Yuling’s father imdiately countered, "No way! Our Yuling couldn’t fight at all before. Even if she picked up so skills, those are no ordinary self-defense techniques. It’s obvious her strength has greatly improved!"

"Yes, they’re using a unique thod to harness True Qi. It’s quite complicated, so don’t even think of asking

to help your family mbers gain this ability—they’re out of luck."

The four fathers had indeed been harboring such thoughts, but Li Yifei’s words shut them down completely. None of them pressed further, realizing he wasn’t being difficult without reason.

Before long, the fight ended. Over twenty tough-looking n were either lying on the ground or had fled the scene, scattering in every direction. None dared challenge the group of won again. These ladies weren’t delicate damsels—they were more like ferocious "she-devils." But you’d rarely see a she-devil looking this good.

"What the hell are you all doing? Twenty n can’t handle a dozen won?" Young Master Wang was so stunned his eyes seed ready to pop out. He shouted angrily, unable to believe what he was seeing.

"Young Master Wang, these won are seriously tough," groaned the n, now huddled awkwardly around him, wincing in pain.

"Idiots! Grab your weapons and attack them!"

Hearing the command, the n imdiately pulled out their weapons—uniformly-sized daggers—from their pockets.

This sight made the elders frown in unison. These n casually carried weapons, suggesting their blatant unchecked power and also revealing just how brazen Wang Shoucheng’s influence was in this area, along with the state of lawlessness here.

"Will they be okay?"

Several mothers turned pale with worry. Although their daughters had earlier defeated the n, seeing weapons now made them panic.

Li Yifei shouted loudly, "Shanshan! Ningxiang! Protect them a little more."

Xu Shanshan and Jiang Ningxiang replied in unison, "Got it!"

Xu Yingying’s mother asked hesitantly, "Why is Yifei telling Shanshan to protect others? Is she really that incredible?"

Li Yifei chuckled and replied, "Oh, Shanshan’s absolutely incredible now."

Ning Xin’er’s father nudged Li Yifei with a sly look and whispered, "Yifei, you rascal, isn’t she technically your sister-in-law?"

Li Yifei was montarily stunned before responding, "She is my sister-in-law. What’s the problem?"

"You sly dog. You’ve made your wife so formidable, but your sister-in-law as well? What’s going on with that?"

Li Yifei sighed and said, "Shanshan’s strength ca about from a completely different opportunity. She’s not the sa as the others."

"Oh, I see. I thought you and your sister-in-law had a thing... Haha."

Li Yifei laughed awkwardly, deciding not to explain further. His situation with Xu Shanshan was already finalized privately, but it hadn’t been made public. If he kept dodging questions now, it’d only cause people to gossip more when the truth eventually ca out. Better to stay silent.

anwhile, the fight broke out again. Because the opposing side had weapons, Xu Yingying and the others were initially a bit apprehensive. But as soon as they began, that hesitation disappeared. Their opponents’ movents seed slow in comparison, giving them plenty of ti to dodge. With fear gone, they focused on disarming their adversaries, although avoiding the daggers made things slightly trickier and required more ti.

This ti, the won didn’t hold back nearly as much. Facing ard opponents who clearly intended to kill them gave them ample reason to retaliate strongly. By the end, apart from a few individuals who realized they’d lose and fled, most of the n were left unable to even crawl, many with broken wrists and filling the room with screams of agony.

"You... you..." Young Master Wang was in shock; he clearly hadn’t expected anyone in this city to dare oppose him so outright. Aside from the highest-ranking officials, even ordinary ones didn’t dare to cross him. And now, all of his n had been utterly defeated.

"Still not convinced?" Su ngxin squinted her eyes at Young Master Wang.

"You bitches... Just you wait! I’ll make sure each of you gets gang-raped later!"

"Smack, smack, smack..." The sound of slaps rang out in rapid succession, followed by Young Master Wang’s screams of pain. His crude remarks infuriated the won, who all charged at him, unleashing a torrent of slaps and kicks. He collapsed to the ground, enduring who-knows-how-many hits before the group finally relented.

By then, Young Master Wang was battered beyond recognition, his face bloodied and swollen to the size of a pig’s head. Forget about getting married tomorrow; he looked like he’d need intensive care first.

Just then, a commotion erupted at the entrance, followed by loud shouts: "Freeze! Freeze! Police!"

Everyone turned to see a large group of police rushing in. Xu Zhenguo quickly stepped forward to greet them, saying, "Director Liu."

The incoming officer was Deputy Director Liu Yushan from the local sub-bureau, who recognized Xu Zhenguo imdiately and asked, "Old Xu, what happened here?"

Xu Zhenguo explained grimly, "We reserved the banquet hall for my daughter’s wedding tomorrow, but today Wang Shoucheng’s nephew insisted on taking over our space, which led to the conflict."

Liu Yushan frowned and said, "Old Xu! How foolish of you! I don’t know what to say. Why not just find another venue for the wedding?"

Xu Zhenguo’s anger surged as he replied, "It’s Labor Day weekend. Hotels get booked over two months in advance! Where am I supposed to find another venue now?"

"Then just postpone your daughter’s wedding for a few days," Liu Yushan retorted without a hint of sympathy.

Xu Zhenguo was so furious he nearly passed out. Was this really how a Deputy Director spoke?

"Arrest them all! Every single one of them!" Young Master Wang, upon seeing the police, was reinvigorated. He shouted at Liu Yushan like he was giving orders.

"Who are you..." Liu Yushan asked hesitantly.

"I’m Wang Xiaodong! Are you blind? You don’t recognize ?"

Despite being a Deputy Director, Liu Yushan didn’t react angrily to Wang Xiaodong’s rude tone. Instead, his face instantly showed fear, and he responded with a nervous smile, "Young Master Wang, I apologize. I didn’t recognize you at first. Who did this to you? I’ll have them arrested imdiately!"

Wang Xiaodong pointed at Su ngxin and the won, shouting loudly, "Those bitches! All of them! Arrest them now!"

"Understood!" Liu Yushan responded without hesitation, waving his hand and sternly commanding, "Arrest all of them!"

The police officers imdiately rushed towards Su ngxin and the won, again showing no hesitation.

"Stop!" Xu Zhenguo’s roar echoed through the room. He angrily asked, "Director Liu, is this how you conduct arrests?"

Liu Yushan glared back and snapped, "This isn’t your place to lecture ! Arrest them all!"

Xu Zhenguo clenched his fists tightly and thundered, "What if I don’t let you arrest them?"

Liu Yushan shot back, "Then I’ll arrest you too! Officers, cuff Xu Zhenguo first!"

Two policen imdiately stepped forward, handcuffs in hand, ready to apprehend Xu Zhenguo. Despite being a fellow officer, they showed no respect or hesitation—provoking Wang Shoucheng was enough for them to disregard Xu Zhenguo entirely. They were well aware that he was now likely to face severe consequences and wouldn’t remain a policeman for much longer.
