Is this real or fake?

Kafney felt her thoughts becoming a bit muddled.

The negative emotions filling Dmitry’s body made her feel irritable. Her thinking slowed down, and an inexplicable anger made her want to punch the rotten husband straightaway.

But she knew very well that she definitely couldn’t beat him.

She controlled Dmitry’s body to take two deep breaths, trying hard to think.

...This should be true.

Because Annan seed to have ntioned that his attendants were summoned from the other end of the dream realm; thus, it beca reasonable that his own soul ca from there as well.

And many deities originally ca from the Otherworld.

Or rather, souls from the Otherworld are indeed more likely to beco divine. Because their arrival is more likely to cause a reactive change in the world... just like after taking dicine.

The Bell Ringer among the False Gods and the Red Knight among the True Gods were both souls from the Otherworld. The Red Knight’s soul possessed great power comparable to that of deities before even arriving in this world.

As for Miss Haoyun among the twelve True Gods, she is the only deity completely from another world.

Ordinary people are still unclear about her real form. Only her Pope is privy to Miss Haoyun’s true nature.

Worldly barriers are like bubbles to her.

She can easily leave this world and directly imrse herself in the dream realm. She can also infiltrate The Void World adjacent to the Mist Realm without causing damage... she can even travel to other worlds.

The reason she stayed in the Mist Realm was not because she was bound by the priesthood of the twelve True Gods but rely because she wanted to stay here. It could even be said that it’s completely uncertain whether she has secretly left this world before.

In a sense, Miss Haoyun’s Divine Arts might be the most powerful because, after obtaining permission, her Pope can directly hurl a target into another world— which for creatures without the ability to cross worlds, amounts to permanent exile.

If it’s said that Annan’s soul also cos from another world... then it could explain why the radiance Kafney sees in him is so dazzling.

This soul did not originally belong to this world.

As if untouched by this world, it bursting with a brilliance that doesn’t belong here seems quite normal...

But then, the problem arises.

Souls from the Otherworld theoretically shouldn’t have the adaptability to elents... yet, Annan’s soul clearly possesses adaptability to multiple elents.

— Let’s first believe in Annan.

If this is true, then she must not have drawn the correct card.

That ans the number seven is wrong.

What other number could it be?

"Dmitry" frowned, pondering, and after a while, pointed to the number three.

It was depicted with a pattern of three batons overlapped like a triangle.

Annan’s birthday is in March.

The ti he ascended to power was also in March.

And he has two siblings, making them three siblings in total.

The number three also relates to the Lady of Silence. Annan’s forgetting of his past should belong to the domain of Silence.

The number three should have a significant connection with Annan.

"Three..."

The rotten husband revealed an enigmatic light smile, "Then it happens to be ti to reveal the third secret.

"’Annan has completely forgotten about the ti he t you.’"

"Dmitry’s" movent froze.

His pupils suddenly contracted, and his fingers clutching the card seed frozen.

— A bone-chilling coldness crawled up his spine.

In that mont, fear rose in Kafney’s heart again.

She had only vaguely felt sothing was wrong before.

Now, Kafney could finally confirm.

This was not the rotten husband in a nightmare!

He not only recognized her, but he could also see through who "Dmitry" really was inside!

Moreover, he knew things about this tiline that the rotten husband shouldn’t know!

...Calm down, Kafney.

She chanted in her mind.

And in "Dmitry’s" eyes suddenly erged unabashed killing intent.

"You shouldn’t have said that at this ti."

"Dmitry" slowly said, "You not only exposed yourself but also told that I drew another wrong card."

The rotten husband simply smiled, remaining silent.

"So the fourth number..."

"Dmitry" paused in mid-sentence.

Because Kafney suddenly realized sothing.

Did Annan know that the person playing "Dmitry" was Kafney?

According to their original plan, "Dmitry" was supposed to be played by Salvatore. Salvatore even used the "Bookbind Shackles" spell to forcefully morize the text.

No one would have expected that Salvatore would play a girl... and that the youngest girl would play Annan’s elder brother.

Kafney managed to perform based on a mix of improvisation and the parts of Salvatore’s lines that surfaced in her mind.

— Now tell her, the rotten husband had recognized her identity right from the start.

This actually eased Kafney a bit... at least she hadn’t slipped up and let the rotten husband realize it was a nightmare.

But she didn’t have the chance to speak to Annan alone.

Could Annan see that the player of "Dmitry" was actually Kafney, not Salvatore?

Salvatore’s birthday is January 1; Dmitry’s birthday is September 9, and her birthday is August 8. Each one was very likely... or rather, at least one of these numbers must be correct.

If "twelve" was correct, she only needed to pick one more correct number.

But she still had two chances... She had already failed twice.

Neither seven nor three were correct.

If Annan could recognize her as Kafney, then the number "8" would be very reliable. But if he thought she was Salvatore...

What number would Salvatore choose?

Twelve was a possibility.

Another likely number might be two, for Salvatore had two sides, and the sacred number of the Mysterious Lady was also two.

Besides, Salvatore’s birthday was on January first, which coincidentally was the sacred day of the Bone Burying Old Lady. This number was very important to him.

So, Salvatore would at least choose the numbers "1, 2, 12".

If Annan thought he was Salvatore, these three numbers would likely be his choice.

But if Annan thought he was Kafney, then one and two were out of the question.

Kafney might choose four, because her father was the fourth prince. Furthermore, she and Annan had just learned that their country’s inherited Great Calamity Curio was called "The Fourth Chronicle", and Philip had already been reincarnated four tis.

Another certain number was eight.

Because Kafney’s birthday was August eighth, and it was also the very day Kafney first t Annan.

— There would be no overlap.

Kafney hesitated for a mont but still chose "two".

Because Annan had two lives. Moreover, "two" was also the sacred number of the Mysterious Lady.

As a Ritualist, Annan might choose two. Two and three were the most important numbers for a Ritualist, and since three was not correct, then perhaps two...

"The fourth secret."

The husband smirked in response, "The previous Annan... the one you first t. [He had committed many great sins]."

— This must be false.

Kafney was very sure of it.

She had seen the radiance on Annan herself.

She sighed in relief, yet felt a bit of regret.

Annan indeed had not recognized her...

She was unconsciously thinking about choosing "one".

But after thinking it over, Kafney decided to be cautious.

Or perhaps it was her final hope.

She let "Dmitry" reach out and press the last number "eight".

The husband’s smile did not change at all.

"So, the final secret."

The husband spoke leisurely, "[Annan will eventually betray you]."

"Congratulations—you lost. You got what you wished for."

Before Kafney could say anything,

she was kicked out of the duel space in a daze.

And even greater confusion arose within her heart.

Which was true, the fourth or the fifth card?

Which statent... was the lie?

...Or could all five be guessed wrong, all true?

Even though she knew the husband’s intention was to drive a wedge between them,

Kafney was still montarily caught in a dilemma.

Just as Kafney’s thoughts were nearly dispersing the mont before.

Annan suddenly snapped, firmly grabbing "Dmitry’s" hand.

Pulling Kafney’s will back to reality.

A familiar, youthful voice sounded by Kafney’s ear: "Don’t overthink... and don’t talk too much."

In that mont, Kafney paused.

The chaos in her mind seed to calm down instantly.

"... I lost."

"Dmitry" said softly.

"I know. Take a break."

Annan answered, "Let’s talk outside... trust ."

"I trust you."

Kafney blurted out.

Not in the tone of "Dmitry," but as Kafney spoke.

"—Then, leave the rest to ."

The dark-haired young boy lifted his deep, dark eyes, his right index finger pressing against his lips.

He revealed a cold smile, "I think I know what you want to do."

"Ah... who knows?"

The husband simply spread his hands, returning a smile that was hard to decipher: "Maybe, I also don’t know what I will do."

"Regardless."

Annan spoke calmly, "Bullying her will co with a price."

— Thanks to this once "not so radiant" body.

He, after a long absence... felt a bit angry.
