Bernadino’s pupils suddenly constricted.
...How could Annan possess a subli false body?
Only when the elental power is fully extracted, can one awaken the most basic subli false body... This power simply couldn’t co from holding a fragnt of the Book of Truth!
Even the complete version of the Philosopher’s Stone wouldn’t allow Annan to master the fully awakened elental power imdiately!
Caught off guard, he could only manipulate Isaac Flall to use the "Atmospheric Divine Shield", solidifying the air into sturdy demonic crystals; and once again attempt to launch the "Prohibition of Attack" Soul Snatching Spell at Annan through Denton.
Just now, Annan was hit by the ray of "Prohibition of Attack" without seeing Denton.
Resisting his own overwhelming desire to attack with only his will caused his arm to be injured.
But now, when Annan could see it all happening.
When Annan’s awakening of the "radiance" elent had already reached 100%.
The ray couldn’t even get near Annan; it was deflected straight away.
Even the glory of the sun, moon, and stars beca dim in Annan’s presence.
Light that wasn’t permitted simply couldn’t approach Annan.
The shield, strong enough to resist a strike from a Gold-rank destruction wizard, was bitten into by Annan’s subli false body and could only shatter with a bang!
After the dragon head clamped down, it continued to charge forward, sending Bernadino flying outright!
The spiritual body had almost no elental power to speak of—
Despite elental power being a force obtained by burning the soul, it needed to be stored in the brain. With the loss of either the soul or the body, one would find it difficult to use elental power.
Without the spiritual body, one couldn’t continue extraction; without the physical body, there was nothing to store it in.
The elental power Isaac could extract was lethal enough for an ordinary person.
But in the face of the dragon head composed almost entirely of light and ice elents, it seed so fragile.
The subli false body could only exist in an elental environnt, and could only move within elents related to elental power. This is why, before Bernadino released his subli false body, he would always start by laying a floor... and why Hugo could only summon his own subli false body after igniting the Heath Tower of Black.
Essentially, they could move only on the ground—especially on "friendly" ground.
Therefore, although they were entirely made of elental power and were almost impossible to be blocked by any spell or supernatural power, they also couldn’t directly attack an enemy with the sa magnitude of power.
But Annan was different.
Using the transcendent power of Winter’s Breath, he dispersed dust-like ice crystals in the air. It was this track that allowed his dragon head to freely fly through the sky.
At that mont, Annan suddenly felt an intense pain in his head.
It was as if his soul was being torn apart—
Denton was staring at him.
His pupils shimred a bizarre, deep blue.
"Skip. Skip. Skip. Lily Crown. Skip. Skip. Azoth’s Force. Skip. Skip."
anwhile, Isaac was chanting quickly.
The air around them, just then, silently transford into so kind of poison.
It was the Hers Faction’s poisonous dust!
Made using fallen beings of pure heart as the base, it was a potent venom specially crafted to target creatures from otherworlds, impossible to avoid!
That ancient formula which "Hers II" attempted to replicate and improve upon... was effortlessly converted from "air" as the base by his own ntor, brought into existence out of thin air.
However, at that mont, Hugo’s voice also rang out:
"Love of the Carnation. Orchid’s Strangling Vine. Azoth’s Force. Divine Disenchantnt. Sun’s Mantle. Skip. Lily Crown. Skip. Skip. Skip."
Although he finished his chanting slightly after Isaac.
Because his reaction was quick enough, he didn’t delay much.
The "Hers Faction’s poisonous dust" that Isaac had just transford was almost instantaneously converted back again!
"You know my spells well... This ans that I am equally familiar with your spells, Sir," sneered Hugo.
"The tis have changed, old man.
"And so has our situation now!"
When two transformation wizards of similar strength and rank opposed each other, neither could successfully complete spells that took longer to cast.
Even with the advantage of his subli false body, Hugo managed a few transformations, but after being engaged by Isaac, they were mostly reversed.
But after Annan arrived, they had two subli false bodies on their side—
Isaac, the only one capable of dealing effective damage to Annan, couldn’t achieve anything under Hugo’s interference!
The dragon head that had knocked Bernadino away had already flown back.
It clamped down from behind Denton once more.
And Denton, looking directly at Annan, showed no change in his eyes.
It wasn’t the haze of a soul controlled by Bernadino...
It was a very genuine and extrely complex expression.
Relief, envy, realization, loss... and finally, serenity ensued.
—Yes.
From the beginning, Denton was never fully controlled!
He had simply successfully tampered with Bernadino’s mory, making him overlook this dissonance.
And upon seeing Annan’s Curse Binding, it was as though Denton understood sothing.
He did not follow Bernadino’s manipulation.
He didn’t flee—
He just watched Annan.
Only to be bitten to pieces by the dragon head striking from behind!
[You have killed a Gold-rank spiritual body in combat, gaining 6800 common experience points]
Annan saw the prompt in his eyes.
He raised his right hand, and the short sword that manifested looking like an eye hovered in the air.
The Wheel of Frost materialized in his hand.
Unlike an ordinary Cripple Wizard who would summon an ethereal luminous wheel made of energy... Annan summoned what appeared to be a rather plain and even sowhat worn real "wheel".
Annan threw it like a boorang.
He ignored Isaac’s Spiritual Body and struck directly at Bernadino!
Light radiated from the gemstone eyes of Bernadino.
A swarm of spiritual bodies surged out of his eyes at high speed.
They erged just to block this very wheel!
—The group of spiritual entities that had attacked the players before was not all he had up his sleeve!
"How many people have you killed..."
Annan sighed deeply.
There was no anger, no pity.
Just an indifferent stance from a superior position, like that of a god.
In the midst of the icy rain, Annan’s body beca ethereal.
He grasped the short sword.
With almost the sa technique as before—
He used the "Will of Victory" to... charge!
—If it was like a teor before.
Then this ti, it was a radiant stream of light.
With the short sword in hand, Annan swiftly charged at Bernadino from the opposite direction.
anwhile, Hugo’s subli imitation had beco tattered and torn.
Its neck was broken, and its figure shrunken down a size.
Bernadino’s subli imitation was also finally able to return.
The spinning Wheel of Frost and Annan, who was attacking in person.
Without much hesitation, Bernadino controlled the subli imitation to block the Wheel of Frost first.
The blurred-faced muscular man looked gravely and seriously at the plain wheel.
It easily shattered many spiritual bodies... It was only slightly slowed by the torrent of spiritual entities.
Only when the subli imitation clasped its hands together did the wheel firmly get caught!
But even so, the wheel continued to spin wildly!
Instead of a wheel, it was more like a buzzsaw.
And yet, the subli imitation still firmly clutched the wheel, not wanting to let it fly back!
The black mire and frosty streams violently burst outwards in all directions.
Hugo’s subli imitation, composed of the "Fire of Restlessness", slowly healed itself, looking to resurrect once more.
But Bernadino drew a spiritual body from the air into his hand and turned it into a short sword.
He blocked Annan’s ambush with a remarkably skillful move!
It was a powerful body that was not much inferior to Annan’s explosive strength... A perpetual body that constantly drew power from the Philosopher’s Stone!
And according to his Curse Binding—anyone who killed him would have their mories flow to Bernadino through dreams.
This made him stronger the more he died.
Today, he was also a Swordsman of Gold rank, perhaps even the equivalent of several.
Annan’s strength was indeed formidable, and his blade was incredibly sharp.
But if it didn’t hit, it was completely aningless—
Without Denton, it was a significant loss for him.
But at the sa ti, he could spare more attention.
He controlled the black mire like a flood, aiming for the head of the ice dragon.
And he himself, muscles bulging and not retreating but advancing, sought to fight Annan in close combat!
This was obviously an opportunity.
The best opportunity to turn the tables on Annan!
Hugo and Isaac confronted each other;
Hugo’s subli imitation was not fully revived yet;
He blocked Annan’s subli imitation with manifested Elental Power;
His own subli imitation blocked the Wheel of Frost summoned by Annan—not a projection, but the genuine "Wheel of Frost".
Only at this mont could he fight fairly with Annan.
And Annan longed for this... Wasn’t Bernadino the sa?
He knew the Philosopher’s Stone had only three minutes.
Just hold on a little longer, and he could survive it...
But Annan didn’t engage in a fight with him.
The will to win at all costs—
Let Annan not block Bernadino’s attack.
Ssch—
The short sword made of spiritual bodies plunged straight into Annan’s chest!
