Just as previously agreed upon.

To class-change into a Berserker, Jiu’er chose the only curse with the "self-harm" keyword.

Although she had known there would be curses of this sort...

But her Curse Binding... seed a bit unusual.

After Jiu’er made her choice, the red bubble flew out, swallowing the other two white bubbles in quick succession.

Then, it gradually shrank and slowly turned black.

It flew towards her and attached itself to the lower abdon of Jiu’er.

The path it traversed brought a corrosive, intense pain, leaving behind a visibly pure black scar. It sowhat resembled an unknown bird of prey with its wings spread wide, or like the pattern made by splashing blood from a high fall spreading upon impact.

Subsequently, new text flowed before Jiu’er’s eyes:

[Blood Kinship with the Enemy (Neutralizing type): On the last day of every month, you must drink the uncoagulated blood of "an enemy you have killed yourself".]

[Blood Kinship with the Enemy: Weapons stained with your blood deal significantly more damage to enemies (the lower your health, the greater the damage boost); weapons stained with enemy blood increase your health recovery rate significantly for a short ti when they strike you (the lower your health, the faster the recovery rate).]

Upon seeing the content of Jiu’er’s curse, the barrage of comnts exploded:

"—So, she’s Olaf?"

"—To speak of Berserkers, this truly is berserk!"

"—Damn, this feels kind of strong..."

"—Makes sense; Jiu’er’s Curse Binding is the most severe."

"—Hang on, I know about the first one, cutting yourself before cutting an enemy... but how does the second one trigger?"

"—What’s the difference, the trigger conditions for both are the sa. It’s all about slashing yourself then the enemy, slashing yourself then the enemy..."

"—Your mother, why does this sound slightly comical..."

"—Wait, this location..."

Jiu’er looked at these comnts and suddenly lost consciousness.

When she woke up again, she found that the others had gradually woken up as well.

It was only then that the settlent screen for the dungeon appeared before Jiu’er:

[Nightmare Purified]

[Nightmare purified as a designated identity, evaluation increased]

["Arthur" was unhard throughout, evaluation increased]

[Killed Karni, evaluation significantly increased]

[Whole party survived, evaluation increased]

[Comprehensive Evaluation—A]

[Gained 30 common experience points, Perception 1]

[Cleared the dungeon reward: Profession (Swordsman) gains 1 level]

And her profession list had also changed to this:

Berserker LV11: [Basic Swordsmanship LV1, Parry LV1, Charge LV1, Full Force Strike LV7, Embrace Death LV1]

Let’s not talk about those first three skills Jiu’er hadn’t touched yet.

But the latter two were exactly her main direction of developnt.

[Full Force Strike LV7: Use all your strength to launch a violently fierce attack. The next attack’s strength check gets a 30% bonus, consuming three tis the stamina. Inbuilt cooldown ti 30 seconds.]

[At LV4: Inbuilt cooldown ti reduced to 18 seconds]

[At LV7: Inbuilt cooldown ti reduced to 6 seconds]

[Embrace Death LV1: The closer to death, the harder it is to die. For every 10% decrease in health, one of Strength, Agility, or Constitution temporarily 1, if health increases, the temporary attribute is returned. This buff activates when health is below 40%; when health is above 40%, the buff is calculated normally but does not activate.]

[After this buff activates, restoring to 100% health again will result in a "Fatigue" state lasting for a full day. During this ti, skills like "Charge," "Full Force Strike," "Powerful Attack," "Final Slash" are unavailable.]

... Have I just completed the advance?

Jiu’er felt vaguely bewildered.

But Annan’s voice had already risen beside her.

Annan seed a bit puzzled too:

"Jiu’er, where is your curse mark?"

"...the abdon."

Jiu’er fell silent for a while before answering in a sowhat embarrassed and quiet voice.

Annan was also sowhat puzzled upon hearing this.

...How do we deal with this?

For a mont, Annan recalled a joke he had once made with Tan Juan:

—Where do you keep your curse?

—You might not believe it, but I have an iron crotch.

He hesitated for a mont but still decided to give Jiu’er a bronze necklace: "You can just use this for now. If you think about changing the cursed object later, let know."

However, there’s actually no need for a bronze-tier carrier to be too close to the curse pattern.

Unless it’s absorbing soone else’s Curse Binding.

In other cases, you only need to actively activate Curse Binding and animate the curse when using silver-tier or higher Transcendent powers...

"Have you all completed your class change?"

Annan looked at the four players as they equipped their carriers and sealed their Curse Bindings before asking, "Did everything go smoothly, and what are your new Transcendent abilities?"

"I’ve successfully beco a Swordsmanship Instructor, my lord."

Delicious Wind Goose was the first to speak.

He closed his eyes as if savoring the feeling.

But Annan knew in his heart that he was staring at his stat panel, starting to think about how to describe it in a way NPCs could understand:

"When ’Swordsmanship Instructor’s’ job ability is elevated, it can greatly increase the agility of my body."

Right, gaining two points of Agility upon leveling up...

Annan nodded.

He understood.

But soon after, Delicious Wind Goose started to stutter a bit embarrassingly: "Um, it can also learn many sword techniques. And... um, it can learn the basic capabilities of swordsmanship as well..."

...What does that even an?

Annan was stunned for a mont, truly not understanding.

He then directly opened Delicious Wind Goose’s personal panel from the backend and checked his job abilities.

...Oh, this is indeed hard to describe.

The new job ability that the Swordsmanship Instructor had acquired was called "Multiple Sword Technique Mastery."

He could obtain additional "Basic Swordsmanship learning slots," and when he learns this type of Basic Swordsmanship, its accompanying skill level would also increase by one but none of the sword techniques could be mastered beyond LV6.

In other words, Delicious Wind Goose’s forr job panel looked like this:

Swordsman LV10 (Max): [Basic Swordsmanship Lv4, Parry LV4, Charge LV1, Full Force Strike LV1]

And now it had beco:

Swordsmanship Instructor LV11: [Basic Swordsmanship LV4 (Parry, Charge, Full Force Strike), Multiple Sword Technique Mastery LV1, (Empty Sword Technique)]

Each level of "Multiple Sword Technique Mastery" allowed Delicious Wind Goose to learn a new type of sword technique.

—For instance, military swordsmanship.

Or bodyguard swordsmanship...

As for Frost Sword Technique, since it requires control of the elental of frost, he likely couldn’t learn it.

But when he advances to the silver tier, he could completely master ten other sword techniques, elevating them and their accompanying skills to LV1. However, this approach is sowhat inefficient, leading to a jack of all trades but master of none.

Having roughly scanned through, Annan guessed: Mastering two or three different and complentary sword techniques and elevating them to LV4 to get the trait bonuses would probably be the most cost-effective choice.

...So that’s how it is, a profession that relies on skill levels to thrive.

Annan nodded, "I see..."

"Wait a minute!"

The Wandering Child, who had been flipping through his panel several tis, suddenly raised his voice: "Why isn’t my profession Swordsmanship Instructor?"

"Hmm?"

Annan was taken aback for a mont.
