Behind Isaac Flal, light suddenly began to gather and distort.
The passersby around him noticed the anomaly in an instant and recognized Isaac as a Transcendent.
But they were not sure what was actually happening.
As an instinct for survival in the United Kingdom, the general rule for any unfamiliar phenonon is to run first. Don’t look if there’s light, don’t listen if there’s sound—and don’t think hiding behind a building is safe; just run as far away as possible.
So, people imdiately started screaming and fleeing the scene without daring to look back even once.
Although Isaac usually appeared quite mild.
But he still possessed the pride of a gold-ranked Transcendent—when he needed to display his power, Isaac did not fear any worldly customs.
Even if it ant using his abilities in full view of the public, it was no issue because there was nothing to shy away from. At this level, it was not about adjusting oneself to fit the world anymore but making the world adapt to oneself.
Annan, known as the "Radiant Sovereign," could clearly feel the power of "Radiance" constantly gathering towards Isaac... and gradually becoming twisted.
It started as a white point of light.
As it continued to spin and expand, it turned into a pure white cube, and then further transford into a rainbow-colored, constantly changing twisted transparent geotric body.
On that geotric body seed to be very fine runes. They ford an extraordinarily complicated formula.
The rainbow-colored light source in the center of the geotric body then penetrated the continuously rotating geotric body, like a light bulb, casting constantly shifting rainbow light onto Isaac and projecting shadows of flowing runes onto his white robe.
The next mont, Isaac’s shadow beneath him turned into a clock hand, began rotating clockwise behind him—from a backlit direction to a place facing the light.
After that, Isaac’s shadow suddenly disappeared completely and appeared in the luminous geotric body behind him. It looked like a shadowy humanoid shape, imprisoned within a cage of light.
Blackbird’s eyes widened in shock.
He could not possibly have seen it wrong nor felt it wrong.
—That was indeed the legendary Subli False Body!
Only those who had completely mastered Elental Power and reached the top tier of the gold rank could possess such a high-ranking power... capable of easily penetrating all Transcendent resistances!
Although Blackbird was still far from that realm, he had once glimpsed the Subli False Body of Marquis Roaring Fang from a great distance.
The current Marquis of the Roaring Fang family was the Tower Master of the Lava Forbidden Tower.
Their family even had quite a few silver-ranked Destruction Wizards.
Because of the Roaring Fang family’s tradition of marrying within the clan, any young person who did not have the talent of a Destruction Wizard was directly expelled.
Even talents from other schools were unacceptable.
The expelled Roaring Fangs, although they lost their family’s support, were not talentless ordinary people. After all, they were born into a family full of eccentrics and monsters; even the rejected ones were considered exceptional in ordinary places.
However, even if they did not inherit the high concentration of Transcendent power flowing in their blood, they would inherit the volatile temperant of the Roaring Fang family...
They simply could not settle down and were utterly incapable of ordinary work.
They either beca pirates or robbers, or else they beca rcenaries. Only a thrilling life, where they might lose their heads at any mont, and strong liquor could quell the restlessness in their hearts.
—But conversely, the pure-blooded Roaring Fangs beca calm.
Perhaps the restless fire in their hearts had transford into real power...
Blackbird’s current superior was a pure-blooded Roaring Fang.
He was nad Arthur Roaring Fang. At a young age, he beca a silver-ranked Transcendent and had even adventured with the legendary Captain of the Ship in Stone, his na becoming a part of the legend as well.
"So, you actually do know the spells of the School of Prophets?"
"I’m certainly not the kind of fanatic like Hugo, who dedicates his entire life to transformation spells."
Isaac glanced at Annan, "Wizards from the Heath Tower of Black always consider ’how to create more useful, cost-effective, and practical transformation products.’
"But we at the Jade Tower are different. Even though all the Wizard’s Towers are trying to make money and gain power, we alone are the drears engaged in ’aningless research.’"
From this point of view... Nicholas was indeed able to gain recognition from the Jade Tower.
"We have to study a lot of theory—and theory, if not in touch with knowledge from adjacent fields, is just creating in a vacuum. Wizards from the Jade Tower who don’t grasp knowledge from other schools are just like those from the Black Tower who don’t understand the needs of the populace."
Isaac casually complained, "Those students, all of them complain about the difficulty of the spells from the School of Prophets... flunking one test after another during exams. But is it really that difficult? If they would just listen a bit during class, wouldn’t this level of knowledge simply be a gift?"
"...For you, it might be a gift, but for them, it’s probably an unsolvable puzzle."
Annan chuckled dryly, "You also have to consider their capabilities..."
"If their capabilities are insufficient, then they should study harder regularly."
Isaac complained, "If they don’t want to think, why co to the Jade Tower at all? Even if I lower the standards and let them pass—becoming a remarkable wizard doesn’t just happen after passing their final exams.
"Learning is inevitably painful, improvent is always slow. If they graduate without mastering these necessary skills, they won’t have the ability to beco competent wizards afterward.
"Besides, if they can pass a make-up exam, that ans they could have learned it all along..."
Beside them, the blackbird felt his brain trembling.
How...
This doesn’t sound like an ordinary ntor?
Able to awaken the elevated conjure of gold rank—could this be the Tower Master of the Jade Tower?
But...
He rembered that the na of this generation’s Tower Master wasn’t this.
At least it shouldn’t be a Flall surna.
He was a die-hard fan of Drest Flall, and he should clearly rember any na related to him.
Yet Isaac ignored the blackbird’s astonishnt.
He rely asked Annan, "Annan... do you know the prophecy of the Triple Dawn?"
"What is that?"
Annan asked in surprise.
He had indeed never heard of this term.
"At the first dawn, eternal night ends, and day separates from night; at the second dawn, words congeal, turning into text; at the third dawn..."
"—The Chariot rises, and the stars descend."
As Isaac’s words fell.
The world around them was instantly swallowed by darkness.
Or rather... the light was usurped by the elevated conjure behind Isaac, transforming into the backdrop of a sea of stars.
The nurous shadow runes projected on him instantly spread outward, turning into countless stars suspended in the air.
Nurous silver runes connected the stars, forming shapes of various constellations—
