"Once we t, it was imdiately certain that he was the person I had been looking for all along, and I finally found my biological dad." Guo Sian said.
"So you’ve never t your dad since you were young, and you’ve never experienced paternal love. Isn’t that quite pitiful?" Tan Xiaoxiao said to Guo Sian with sympathy.
"My mom took great care of . Although I didn’t have a dad by my side growing up, I always knew I had a dad, and that he was in the country. I knew I would see him soday." Guo Sian said with a smile.
"Although I didn’t experience paternal love, there are so regrets deep inside, but it’s not really that pitiful."
"Oh! That’s a bit better." Tan Xiaoxiao nodded and said.
"By the way, I used to behave rather excessively towards you, like scolding you, assigning you tasks, even tugging your ear with my hand. You don’t bla , do you?" Tan Xiaoxiao said with a pitiful look, pleading.
"Why would I bla you? I’m grateful to you!" Guo Sian said with a smile.
"During this ti, I’ve learned a lot from being with you, including many experiences about the workplace."
"Most importantly, during this ti with you, I really felt very happy."
As they were about to continue chatting, soone knocked on the door from outside.
They realized they’d been in the restroom for quite a while, affecting others who needed to use it.
So they quickly opened the restroom door and went out.
"You brat, staying in the restroom with a girl for so long, did you do sothing shaful?" Yi Anguo frowned and said to his son as he sat back down.
"Dad! I didn’t do anything shaful to anyone. She wanted to apologize to because she worried she might have offended at work in the past. Back then, she didn’t know I was the chairman’s son, and now that she knows my identity, she’s afraid I might hold a grudge." Guo Sian hurriedly explained.
"Hmm! The most important thing for us n is to be responsible and accountable. n can be affectionate but absolutely cannot be heartless." Yi Anguo nodded and said.
"Dad! Did you misunderstand sothing? Xiaoxiao and I only have a work relationship! At most, it’s just a friendship. How does it relate to being affectionate or heartless?" Guo Sian said with a bitter smile.
"Well, then even better!" Yi Anguo couldn’t help but sigh in relief and said with a smile.
"That girl should be Tan Xiaoxiao. She didn’t know your identity before. Being strict with you at work, or offending you with her words, correcting you—these are normal things for work-related matters. You don’t need to dwell on it."
"I know! Actually, Xiaoxiao has been really good to . If she was strict with , it’s because of my work issues, and I wasn’t careful enough. It was really my fault, so how could I possibly bla her?" Guo Sian nodded and said.
Soon, the plane was flying over Singapore’s airspace, landing at Singapore International Airport.
Besides Yi Anguo and Guo Sian, the staff onboard had already arranged for the Singapore branch staff to et them, providing transport to the branch where their work and accommodation would be arranged.
Guo Aihua personally went to the airport to welco her man and son ho for a family reunion.
"Anguo, did Sian cause you any trouble back in the country?" Guo Aihua asked Yi Anguo as they sat side by side in the car.
As for their son, Guo Sian was arranged to sit in another car.
"What kind of trouble could he cause? He’s my son, not an outsider. How could you call it causing trouble?" Yi Anguo said with a smile.
"Sian has grown up so much without ever being away from for this long. In the blink of an eye, he’s already 18, and there will be more and more tis he’ll be away from . As kids grow, mothers cannot always keep them by their side!" Guo Aihua couldn’t help but say.
"Kids will grow up eventually and leave us one day. Slowly, you’ll get used to it. Do you really want to keep him by your side forever?" Yi Anguo said.
"When I was his age, I had already left my hotown, left my parents, and ventured to the South alone."
"If it weren’t for that, how would I have had the chance to et you?"
"It was different back then. People were more independent and mature at an earlier age." Guo Aihua said with a smile.
"Nowadays, 17 or 18-year-olds are still considered kids. They don’t understand much yet, and over these years, I’ve kept him well-protected. How can it compare with the environnt you had back then?"
Yi Anguo knew that what Guo Aihua said was true; today’s 17 or 18-year-olds are indeed incomparable to those of the past in terms of maturity.
"With him being with you in the country, I felt reassured. If he had to venture alone, I definitely wouldn’t have been so at ease." Guo Aihua added.
"How has he fared beside you? Does he have the potential to make achievents in business?"
"He’s the sole heir to Fuhua Group and your company in the future."
