Yi Anguo smiled and said, "What do you think? Are they beautiful? Do you like them?"

"They certainly look quite nice, but I’ve heard the world of rosewood furniture is a murky one. I’m afraid of being deceived and buying fakes," Zhuo Weidong said with a smile. "Besides, there are many types of rosewood. For example, furniture made from red sandalwood is very expensive. In ancient tis, the powerful and wealthy all favored red sandalwood furniture."

"It seems small-leaf sandalwood and Hainan Huanghuali rosewood are in fashion again, especially Huanghuali wood. I heard the price has skyrocketed to several million per ton, which is thousands per pound."

"However, a layman doesn’t understand any of this and can easily be duped. Even if I liked it, I wouldn’t dare to buy it recklessly!"

Yi Anguo couldn’t help but laugh. "I didn’t expect you to know so much about this! Don’t tell you learned that the hard way?"

"Not at all. I just developed an interest by chance and did so research. I haven’t had the opportunity to buy anything yet!" Zhuo Weidong shook his head. "From the look of it, you seem to know a lot about this, don’t you?"

"That’s right. I started as an apprentice at seventeen, learning to make rosewood furniture. So, what do you think? Do I know my stuff?" Yi Anguo nodded.

"You definitely do. Next ti I want to buy rosewood furniture, I’ll have to ask for your help so I don’t get ripped off," Zhuo Weidong said with a laugh.

"Not long ago, I invested in a rosewood furniture factory. All these pieces were produced there. If you want to buy so, just co to my factory and pick whatever you like. I can guarantee you won’t get any fakes. In fact, my factory doesn’t produce any fakes at all," Yi Anguo said with a smile.

"Brother Yi! You quietly opened a rosewood furniture factory without telling . Were you afraid I couldn’t afford a gift or that I wouldn’t co to show my support?" Zhuo Weidong asked with mock reproach.

"It was nothing like that; I didn’t tell anyone. I just casually opened a factory to give my two nephews sothing to do. I hired a few old colleagues I knew who had excellent craftsmanship to make the furniture," Yi Anguo explained. "I haven’t even opened a single furniture store yet. All my business cos from referrals from friends and acquaintances, and we’ve only just started selling the first samples."

"Alright. When I get the chance, I’ll introduce you to so friends who want to buy rosewood furniture. And I’m definitely going to buy so for myself," Zhuo Weidong said with a nod. "Since I’m going to buy it anyway, buying from you at least ans I don’t have to worry about getting fakes. If you say your factory doesn’t produce counterfeit goods, then I certainly believe you."

After finishing their small talk, the two sat down with their tea and got down to business.

For n like them, while rosewood furniture was expensive, it was hardly a major affair. Neither of them would lose sleep over a deal worth tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even a few million. The business they were about to discuss involved capital exceeding a billion yuan.

Yi Anguo had no intention of getting involved in how Zhuo Weidong planned to take over the Ren Family’s real estate company. He was only concerned with his own interests: how much capital he would invest, how many properties he would receive in return, and at what price. The other part of the deal was signing a cooperation agreent. All projects developed by the Blue Coast Real Estate Developnt Company would contract their property managent to the firm under Yi Anguo’s na.

From Zhuo Weidong’s perspective, having Yi Anguo willing to invest without demanding shares was extrely beneficial. It was a deal with only upsides and no downsides. Although trading properties for debt at a discount didn’t seem ideal at first, it was far more profitable than giving up company shares.

Furthermore, collaborating with Yi Anguo’s property managent company wasn’t a major concession at all. In fact, Zhuo Weidong would have been more than willing to cooperate with them even without this deal. Everyone knew that the residential communities developed by Blue Coast had the best property managent, an achievent accomplished after Yi Anguo took over the company. Continuing to work with Yi Anguo’s property managent firm wasn’t a condition but a benefit. Why would Zhuo Weidong possibly refuse?

With no objections from either side, the negotiations proceeded swiftly. After reaching an agreent, they shared a al, leaving the finer details to their subordinates.

This ti, Yi Anguo invested 1.6 billion yuan. Taking advantage of the massive crisis at Ren Real Estate, Zhuo Weidong delivered the final blow. Ren Real Estate ultimately had to declare bankruptcy, and its assets were auctioned off en masse to cover its debts. Zhuo Weidong used the 1.6 billion yuan from Yi Anguo to acquire a significant portion of Ren Real Estate’s assets, including land reserves and ongoing construction projects.

One should never underestimate the power of 1.6 billion yuan in cash. The value it could generate was far more than 1.6 billion. After purchasing 1.6 billion worth of assets from Ren Real Estate, he could use those sa assets as collateral to easily borrow another substantial sum of money.

Ultimately, Yi Anguo’s investnt of 1.6 billion yuan was exchanged for 4,000 properties.

Whether from Ou Xiaolong’s real estate company or Zhuo Weidong’s Blue Coast Real Estate Company, the properties he received were located in the cheaper outlying areas. Yi Anguo didn’t mind. While property prices in these areas were low now, their future appreciation was expected to be even more aggressive than in the central locations.

Fu Shasha was overjoyed at being accepted into Shenzhen University. anwhile, Fu Huanhuan had successfully convinced her parents to let her return to Shenzhen to continue teaching.

Yi Anguo was very curious and asked Fu Huanhuan how exactly she had persuaded them.

Fu Huanhuan said proudly, "I promised them I wouldn’t marry anyone from another province without their consent, so they agreed to let co back to Shenzhen!"

"Who are you kidding? Your parents aren’t that easily persuaded," Yi Anguo said, completely unconvinced.

"Uncle! My parents sent my sister to watch over and make sure I don’t date in college. Then they told to watch my sister and make sure she doesn’t date in Shenzhen," Fu Shasha said with a giggle.

"Your parents are really sothing. Aren’t they afraid you two will just conspire to trick them?" Yi Anguo said, finding the situation hilarious.

"That’s where you’re wrong. They might not trust , but they absolutely trust my younger sister. As long as Fu Shasha gives them her word, they’ll believe her unconditionally," Fu Huanhuan said with a hint of jealousy.

"Shasha, you’d better be careful. Your sister has n chasing after her here," Yi Anguo said, deliberately tattling.

"Uncle! I’m not bad-looking. Isn’t it normal for n to pursue ?" Fu Huanhuan said haughtily. "I can control myself and not date anyone, but can I control whether n like or not?

"Also, Uncle! When you’re bad-mouthing others, shouldn’t you take a look at yourself? Don’t think I don’t know what you’ve been up to. I’m just not one to ddle in your affairs! If you dare to provoke , I’ll tell my mom everything, and let her deal with you!"

"Oh-ho! Look at you, Fu Huanhuan! Daring to threaten your own uncle. Do you really think I can’t handle you?" Yi Anguo said, laughing half in anger and half in amusent.

"Hmph! Scared now, are you? What can you do to ?" Fu Huanhuan said triumphantly.

"Fine. The apartnt you’re living in... 3,000 a month isn’t too much, is it? Shouldn’t you be paying your rent?" Yi Anguo said with a cold smile.

"What apartnt? What rent? I’m living at my own uncle’s house. Why would I need to pay rent?" Fu Huanhuan asked, feigning surprise.

"What a joke! Have you ever seen a niece live at her uncle’s place for over two years straight?" Yi Anguo retorted.

"Of course! I lived at my grandma’s house until I was six, didn’t I?" Fu Huanhuan shot back. "And isn’t Grandma’s house the sa as Uncle’s house? Why did no one ever ntion paying rent back then? Besides, this is your ho. You’re just never here to live in it. Why should I have to pay rent? Or maybe I should call my parents and have them pay the rent for . They can give you the money directly."

Yi Anguo realized he was truly helpless against this niece of his; she was practically extorting him. It’s truly easier to invite a god than to send one away! Ask his older sister and brother-in-law for rent? What a joke. He would never have the guts to do that.

Yi Anguo could only flee. Out of sight, out of mind!

"Sis! You actually drove Uncle away. That was a bit much!" Fu Shasha said, feeling a little sorry for her uncle.

"What do you know! Our uncle wasn’t driven away by . He just has a guilty conscience," Fu Huanhuan said.

"Why would Uncle have a guilty conscience? And with such a nice apartnt, why doesn’t he live here? Why let you have it all to yourself?" Fu Shasha asked curiously.

"Oh, he’d love to live here, but with all the places he has, how could he possibly manage?" Fu Huanhuan then recounted the story of how their uncle had been living with Li Sisi, how her parents had co to visit and discovered he had a daughter, and how they had opposed the relationship.

"But Auntie Sisi’s parents have passed away now, and Uncle and Auntie Sisi have made up, so why doesn’t he move back?" Fu Shasha asked. "Or are they living together now, just in a different apartnt?"

"Uncle and Auntie Sisi have indeed reconciled and are living together, but you’d better prepare yourself. This uncle of ours has found himself quite a few ’aunties,’ not just one," Fu Huanhuan said with a teasing smile.

"Sis! What do you an? Don’t tell Uncle is dating several won at the sa ti?" Fu Shasha asked, shocked. "Could it be... Xin Yi’s mother is back?"

"How is that possible? Stop making wild guesses," Fu Huanhuan said loudly. "That woman wouldn’t have the audacity to show her face again. And even if she did, Uncle would never take her back. Right now, Uncle has a lot of won around him. Many of them pursued him and fell for him."

"But if Uncle has a new auntie, he can’t still be involved with other won, can he? Can a man marry several wives at once?" Fu Shasha asked. "Even if Uncle is rich now, that’s impossible. We have a monogamous system. No matter how wealthy you are, you can’t marry two wives. That’s bigamy, and it’s illegal. You’d go to jail for that."
