Su Chengyu smirked, tidied himself up and left the bedroom just as Little Shuang was coming out of her room.
“Godfather, where’s my mother?” Little Shuang asked, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
“Your mother is a bit tipsy from cooking dinner and drinking, she’s resting in the room.
Let Godfather play with you.” Su Chengyu replied.
“Yay, yay!
Godfather is the best!”
Little Shuang’s face lit up with joy as she grabbed Su Chengyu’s hand to play with their toys.
Seeing Little Shuang’s innocence and delight, Su Chengyu felt a trace of warmth, and couldn’t help but question himself, “Do I really want to beco a father?”
Su Chengyu stayed with Little Shuang until Gu Ying erged from the bedroom, though her walk was a bit uneasy.
