In the Supre Daoist Scripture, there are many martial arts. It’s not difficult to choose a few suitable ones to teach them.

So Su Chengyu just selected a few martial arts styles that were easy to produce and taught them to seven people.

But for the remaining five people, it was relatively much more troubleso.

In fact, although Su Chengyu already had two disciples and had the experience of instructing Chang Li, it wouldn’t be wrong to say he had taught three people cultivation.

But the problem is, even with Yu Yanshu from the very beginning, the process of attaining enlightennt was not completed by Su Chengyu.

In fact, due to Yu Yanshu’s special physique, she could be considered born enlightened.

Starting from scratch, although Su Chengyu wasn’t completely at a loss, he indeed faced several challenges.

First of all, the Supre Xuanqing Jue is certainly not possible to serve as their foundation for cultivation.

Not to ntion the uniqueness of the Supre Xuanqing Jue, this cultivation technique is fundantally too sophisticated. To use the Supre Xuanqing Jue for enlightennt is almost impossible unless so significant event occurs to suddenly enlighten soone. Even in years or decades, these people might not truly step onto the path of cultivation.

This is the limitation of the cultivation technique’s uniqueness; Su Chengyu needed eighteen years of Mute Zen, largely due to this reason as well.

The longer the period of accumulation, the greater the talent that can be attained after enlightennt. Such a cultivation technique that requires a profound and gradual developnt is obviously unsuitable for the current environnt.

As for other cultivation techniques...

Su Chengyu did have a few on hand, but looking at them, Su Chengyu hadn’t explored them deeply either. Moreover, after considering the effects and the compatibility with these original tribe mbers, Su Chengyu also began to hesitate internally.

"Sir? Are we unqualified?"

Seeing Su Chengyu halt after teaching the rest seven people martial arts, a boy with good talent finally couldn’t hold back and spoke up.

Among the remaining five people, the boy renad as Yin by Su Chengyu was the only male. This inevitably made him the most uneasy among the five, as he watched others moving on the right track, while Su Chengyu seed to have no intention to teach them.

Originally deep in thought, seeing the slightly wavering hearts of the five people, Su Chengyu also made a decision internally.

He decided to give them the choice themselves.

"No, you five will walk a different path from theirs. It might be slower at first, but once you get started, you might gain more."

"Might?"

The Elder’s daughter, the girl nad Mao, caught the detail in his words and pressed on.

"Yes, ’might.’ After all, the two paths are not inherently superior or inferior, like hunting. You hunt a rabbit each day, and in ten days, you have ten. You hunt for ten days, and on the last day, you get ten—it’s the sa. In the end, it all depends on how much you can gain yourself."

He used the taphor most familiar to them to help them understand what Su Chengyu was doing, and then Su Chengyu was going to get to the main point.

"And now, there are two choices in front of you. I have just ntioned the path you need to take; in the first nine days, you might gain nothing. But to ensure you don’t co out empty-handed, I can let you choose a relatively safe path. The final harvest might not be ten, but at least you won’t leave with nothing."

Su Chengyu’s words imdiately eased the tension of the remaining five, but little Yin continued to ask.

"Then sir, what is the other choice?"

"You might gain nothing on the tenth day either."

Su Chengyu answered truthfully.

"Then what’s the yield? A hundred?"

The little boy asked curiously.

However, this ti, Su Chengyu shook his head: "I don’t know. This path, I can’t give you any guarantee. Where it can lead, or where you might end up, I can’t promise anything. It’s just... sothing I want to try myself."

Hearing Su Chengyu’s answer, Yin started to frown, while Mao beside him couldn’t help but ask.

"Then why should we choose this path?"

"That’s sothing you have to ask yourself, whether you’re willing to accompany on such a potentially fruitless experint. The choice is yours; I won’t give any further explanation."

Su Chengyu finished speaking and left the decision to them, using the ti to re-evaluate their bodily conditions.

Previously, Su Chengyu found it strange how quickly the tribe mbers accepted literacy.

With this deeper understanding opportunity, Su Chengyu discovered.

Though the Human Clan in this world was still in a primitive state and hadn’t developed a high civilization.

Living in an environnt rich in Spiritual Energy all year round, their intelligence was inherently high, only lacking soone to enlighten them.

With such a foundation, Su Chengyu was eighty percent sure of achieving enlightennt with all five of them.

Of course, that is if they don’t take the second path offered by Su Chengyu.

On the first path, Su Chengyu would choose so common cultivation techniques he knew, including the cultivation techniques of the Qingcheng Sect’s Outer Sect, the current entry-level texts of the Quanzhen Sect, and other ordinary cultivation techniques Su Chengyu acquired on his path of cultivation.

None would involve the core aspects of the two sects, and certainly would not relate to the Supre Xuanqing Jue, though the cultivation speed would inherently be affected to so degree.

The second path, however, is to tailor a unique cultivation technique for each, based on their individual constitutions, much like Chang Li.

In this process, Su Chengyu dared not provide any guarantee, as Chang Li’s smooth derivation was based on her already being on the path of cultivation, with Su Chengyu’s guidance simply helping her find a shortcut.

As for those who haven’t even set foot on the path of cultivation, Su Chengyu indeed dared not make any promises.

"Alright, ti’s up. Have you all made your own decisions?"

About five minutes later, seeing that there seed to be no more hesitation or confusion in their eyes, Su Chengyu finally spoke.

Among the five, three chose the first path almost without hesitation.

However, Su Chengyu’s gaze turned to Yin, the one among the five with the best potential.

"And you?"

"I... want to choose the first path."

Rather than hesitation, the pause felt more like shouldering so kind of burden.

Su Chengyu could feel that, when the boy made this decision, there was a sense of responsibility about him, and understood why he made this choice.

This left Su Chengyu sowhat regretful, as his cultivation potential was the best, and taking the second path could have saved Su Chengyu a lot of trouble.

Then, Su Chengyu looked toward the last person, the girl with the worst cultivation and martial arts potential among the twelve, Mao.

"Sir, I want to choose the second path!"
