Chapter 937: Chapter 380: Old Acquaintance in a Foreign Land Chapter 937: Chapter 380: Old Acquaintance in a Foreign Land “Dream” began reporting to Yan Fei on how he conducted the investigation.
“I invaded the Internet, entered the database of Kenya’s Immigration Services, and obtained the information of all Chinese people who have entered Kenya in the past six months, including by air, water, and land. From the database, a total of 153,745 Chinese people entered Kenya during this ti. Among them, 19,875 people entered by airplane, another 68,741 people by ship, and the remaining 65,129 people entered via Kenya’s land borders.”
Yan Fei asked, “Among these Chinese people who entered Kenya, have you found any suspicious individuals?”
“Dream” responded, “Among these people, 145,987 are businessn traveling between China and Kenya, including so temporary docked cargo ship crew mbers. I investigated their activity routes in Kenya, and through their mobile phone call records as well as chat software records, I found they are just ordinary businessn. Although they also engaged in so illegal activities while in Kenya, they are not suspects in providing plans to the African Glory Organization.”
Yan Fei inquired, “What about the rest of them?”
“Dream” answered, “Among the others, there are 5,874 staff mbers sent to Kenya branches by Chinese companies, who are engaged in normal business activities. I monitored their accommodation hotel’s surveillance videos and found their work routes in Kenya are consistent with their parent companies’ requirents in China. I also investigated their circumstances inside China, found them to be very ordinary employees without any criminal record, so they too can be ruled out as suspects.”
“Among the remaining people, 1,860 are tourists who ca to visit Kenya. After analyzing a large amount of surveillance footage and extracting their mobile phone data, I have completely mastered the movent routes of 1,859 people within Kenya and found no abnormalities in their activities.”
A thought struck Yan Fei, and he said, “That ans there’s one tourist whose movents you haven’t fully grasped, right?”
“Dream” confird, “Yes, this Chinese person entered Kenya for tourism but did not join a tour group and instead backpacked alone, taking secluded country paths. Therefore, he didn’t appear in the surveillance caras in the marketplaces, and I’m not entirely certain about his travel route or whether he has made contact with the African Glory Organization. However, information obtained dostically indicates this person is just an ordinary individual with no criminal history.”
Yan Fei stroked his chin, then asked, “Are there any other Chinese people who entered Kenya?”
“Dream” inford, “There are also 24 unidentified individuals who entered Kenya, but since they used Chinese passports upon entry, we can also classify them as Chinese.”
Yan Fei asked, “Did you find anything abnormal among them?”
“Dream” explained, “After my investigation, I found that 18 of them are Chinese special operatives with forged passports. However, they entered Kenya to carry out a special state task, and there is no evidence to suggest they are suspects.”
Yan Fei continued, “What about the last six people, could they be the suspects?”
“Dream” revealed, “Upon verification, four of them are fugitives wanted inside China, who used fake passports to enter Kenya through its land borders. Then they hid in a room in the suburbs of Nairobi, the capital, without ever revealing themselves outdoors. Since these four individuals are keen on using the Internet on their mobile phones, I was able to completely monitor their whereabouts. After a special investigation over this period, I concluded that these four fugitives are not the suspects you’re looking for.”
Yan Fei then inquired, “What about the last two individuals, are they very likely suspects?”
“Dream” replied, “Correct, these two have the highest suspicion. They entered Kenya through the border with the neighboring northern country of Somalia, and their ti of entry was night. There were few customs officers at the ti, and one of them even bribed a Kenyan border guard. Having shown just one person’s Chinese passport, both were allowed entry into Kenya.”
“After that, these two individuals quickly headed for African Glory Organization’s Base 13, which is the base where 2,000 tons of high explosives were buried underground. They stayed at that base for two days and due to technical reasons, I couldn’t determine who they t or what they discussed while there. However, after two days, they left Base 13, took a long detour and returned to the northern border of Kenya, from where they went back to Somalia.”
Yan Fei found it peculiar and remarked, “How co you were able to track down these two individuals so easily?”
“Dream” replied, “These two were unlucky, the places they passed by all had surveillance caras, so no matter how much they tried to hide, I was able to quickly grasp their movent routes.”
Yan Fei had a strong premonition that these two individuals were likely to be the strategists for the “African Glory” organization. He voiced his thought, “Have you figured out the identities of these two people?”
“Dream” said, “Of the two, the leading individual was wearing a black cloak with a large hood on his head, and a huge mask on his face, cleverly avoiding all surveillance cara capture, so his true face is unknown. The person behind him seed like his bodyguard. Although the surveillance cara captured his appearance, I could not match his identity data on the Internet.”
