Chapter 908: Chapter 369 Instant Healing_3 Chapter 908: Chapter 369 Instant Healing_3 Everyone knew what the item that could emit a strong electromagnetic signal was and recognized its importance. Therefore, even though so of the combatants from various countries were allies of the United States of Arica, they had no choice but to adopt false identities and engage in combat with Arican soldiers, aiming to break through the Arican blockade to reach the source of the signal and obtain intelligence that was crucial for their own nations.
The US Forces operating in this area were the largest that could be dispatched within the confines of Kenya. Even though the US Forces sustained heavy casualties in the crossfire with other forces, they also knew that the item here was of extre importance to the United States of Arica. Therefore, they had to stand their ground here, repelling any forces that dared to approach. Not only the United States, but other countries also sent a large number of combatants towards the site, racing to seize the key items. Now it was a matter of seeing who could hold out.
At the very center of the battlefield was the original entrance above the underground cave. However, due to Yan Fei’s calculations, the cave had been completely collapsed by explosions, creating a huge crater in the ground shaped like an inverted funnel.
A large number of Arican soldiers were defending at the outer periters, sporadically clashing in small-scale firefights with enemies outside. At the center, there were a few soldiers with several life detectors close to the ground, searching inside the gaping crater. Tripiṭaka had vanished here, and according to the estimates of the Arican side, Tripiṭaka should be buried beneath this crater, so the objective of these soldiers was to locate Tripiṭaka.
Tripiṭaka was a CIA Senior mber in Arica and represented the country’s high-end combat strength, holding imnse strategic value. Thus, even in an extrely unfavorable situation, the United States of Arica did not forget to search for Tripiṭaka, who might have been buried underground. As a God-Level Expert, Tripiṭaka possessed robust vitality; he might not die even if buried underground and could even break through the soil and return safely.
However, the circumstances seed different this ti. It had been a while since Tripiṭaka had been buried underground, yet there had been no sign of him erging from the ground. Even as the Arican soldiers continuously called out to Tripiṭaka, they received no response. Thus, the Arican side was very worried and decided to use life detectors in their hands to search for Tripiṭaka, intending to rescue the Arican hero.
But the environnt underground had undergone significant changes, and with no clear idea of where exactly Tripiṭaka had been buried, the Arican soldiers used their equipnt for a long ti but failed to find any information about Tripiṭaka. However, they did not get discouraged and persisted, simultaneously digging with rudintary shovels and continuing to search for human presence with their detectors.
The topmost layer of the ground was soft dirt, which allowed the Arican soldiers to dig quickly. They soon excavated down to a depth of 15 ters underground. Suddenly, the life detectors in the hands of these soldiers finally reacted, revealing the presence of a living organism 10 ters beneath their current depth.
The soldiers were overjoyed, convinced that the individual deep underground emitting a life signal must be the seemingly invincible Tripiṭaka. They started shouting towards the direction underground, hoping to catch Tripiṭaka’s attention, yet received no response.
With no choice left, the soldiers had to continue digging using their simple shovels. However, starting from that point, the ground beneath was all solid rock. Digging with their rudintary shovels was exceedingly slow and physically exhausting. Fortunately, with many vigilant Arican soldiers on the periphery, everyone took turns, enabling them to continue progressing further underground.
Even so, the excavation underground did not proceed smoothly. It was not until the next morning that the soldiers finally reached 10 ters underground. When they moved aside a piece of hard rock, they arrived at the location indicated by the life detector. There they found Tripiṭaka, curled up into a ball.
Tripiṭaka was in dire straits; his monk’s robe torn and barely covering his body. His body was covered with nurous wounds, large and small, but none were bleeding. Tripiṭaka was motionless, in a state of complete unconsciousness, unresponsive to any external stimuli. It was only the faint rising and falling of his chest that indicated he wasn’t dead.
Unable to awaken Tripiṭaka, the soldiers could only carry him out of the ground, where a military dic provided a quick dical examination, bandaged the wounds, and administered nutrients essential for keeping his body functioning. Then the soldiers turned their attention back to the defensive periters outside, intent on keeping the combatants from other nations at bay.
Initially, the Command Center in the United States of Arica had ordered its soldiers to dig downwards in an attempt to reach the signal source below to find out what it was. However, facing the incredibly hard rock underground, which was practically impenetrable with their simple tools, the commander had no choice but to order the soldiers to hold their position and await further instructions. anwhile, efforts were intensified to dispatch reinforcents and contact various governnts, seeking to resolve the ergent issues through political negotiations.
While Yan Fei continuously monitored the progression of events on the African continent via satellite surveillance, due to environntal factors, not everything could be observed. Directly above the site of the large explosion, a large cloud cluster had ford, mixed with volcanic ash fluttering in the sky, which interfered with the Dream Island Satellite’s monitoring capability, preventing Yan Fei from noticing that the High Priest of ‘African Glory’ had not perished. Instead, he had been rescued by a mysterious man in black who claid to be ‘destiny’.
However, the skies above the location of the underground cave were clear of clouds, and although there was so interference from a small amount of volcanic ash, Yan Fei could clearly see how the Aricans fought with forces from other nations and how they managed to rescue Tripiṭaka from underground.
Yan Fei, who already knew about Tripiṭaka’s formidable vitality, realized it would be difficult to kill Tripiṭaka in haste. Unexpectedly, Tripiṭaka was indeed fortunate to not have fallen into the magma below. But despite escaping a catastrophe, Tripiṭaka’s condition seed troubling, as he remained in a coma, making Yan Fei doubt Tripiṭaka’s current state…
