Chapter 818: Chapter 338 Unprecedented and Unparalleled_2 Chapter 818: Chapter 338 Unprecedented and Unparalleled_2 After receiving Yan Fei’s command, “Dream” began to trace the rumors on China’s Internet. However, there were many rumors, most of which were reposted from various sources, making it challenging for “Dream” to uncover the true identities behind the rumormongers anyti soon. Yan Fei wasn’t in a hurry though, as his main focus was on dealing with his enemies in Africa. By the ti he had dealt with them, the identities of his dostic enemies should also be almost uncovered.

Yan Fei was not one to simply take things lying down. Not only did he instruct “Dream” to trace the source of the rumors on the Internet, but he also commanded “Dream” to debunk them on a large scale, fully utilizing “Dream’s” unrivaled ability to post online and thus engaging in a major cyber showdown with the rumor-mongers. With “Dream’s” capabilities, no one could beat Dream Island on the Internet.

Then Yan Fei stopped paying attention to the cyber rumor war and, using the Auxiliary Brain, connected to the Dark Web through the Underworld’s network, logging in with the account “Fei Ping.”

It had been a while since Yan Fei had accessed the Dark Web, but upon logging in this ti, he noticed there were many more Bounty Tasks available. Many of them were assassination tasks, targeting famous political figures. Ever since that old President ca to power in The United States of Arica, the world had beco increasingly chaotic under his influence.

Due to the world’s instability, the number of Bounty Tasks on the Dark Web had increased, and the rewards for completing these tasks had beco larger. Yan Fei even found a task for his own assassination, which offered a 500 million US Dollar Bounty upon successful completion.

Unfortunately, until the task was settled, no one other than the person who posted the task could see who had taken it up, so Yan Fei had no way of knowing if anyone had accepted the task of assassinating him. However, from the date it was clear that the bounty had been posted for two years, yet no one had co to kill Yan Fei. Before, Yang Song had once posted a task to assassinate Yan Fei, but that task had later been canceled by him, so Yan Fei couldn’t tell who wanted to trouble him.

The Dark Web was amazingly secure, and even with the Auxiliary Brain, Yan Fei couldn’t breach its defenses to uncover its secrets. Later, with the Artificial Intelligence “Dream,” Yan Fei also attempted to attack the Dark Web but to no avail. The Dark Web network was like an ultimate fortress, impregnable. This suggested that the Dark Web was a formidable organization, possibly more powerful than Yan Fei could imagine.

Since he couldn’t break into the Dark Web, Yan Fei stopped trying to learn its secrets and instead used the platform to achieve his own objectives. Using the “Fei Ping” account, he posted a new Bounty Task on the Dark Web.

“African Glory is an extremist KB Organisation that has just kidnapped voluntary dical staff treating Ebola virus-infected patients, and publicly tortured one of the hostages to death. They have committed heinous cris and must be punished. I hope soone can eliminate this organization, rescue all hostages, and uncover the mastermind and truth behind this event. I am willing to pay a 2 billion US Dollar Bounty for the completion of this task,” he posted.

The reward Yan Fei offered for this Bounty Task was extrely high, reaching 2 billion US Dollars, making it the highest bounty in the history of the Dark Web. Moreover, the amount was exactly what the kidnappers had demanded as a ransom. With this, Yan Fei was signaling to the kidnappers that despite their demands, Dream Island was willing to use the money to take them down rather than pay them off, and would fight to the end.

As for whether the kidnappers might, out of desperation, kill all the hostages upon seeing this bounty posted, Yan Fei wasn’t too concerned. African Glory’s kidnapping was not purely for money but aid at targeting Yan Fei and the Destroyer. Now that Yan Fei had finally deployed the Destroyer, the schers hiding in the shadows would be even more excited, unlikely to act rashly and deviate from their original plan. Their intention was to lure the Destroyer into a trap and then kill him. Therefore, until their objective was achieved, the hostages from Dream Island were absolutely safe.

After posting the highest Bounty Task in history, Yan Fei surprisingly received an in-platform ssage from the Dark Web asking him to confirm whether the bounty was truly 2 billion US Dollars. Only then did Yan Fei realize that his bounty exceeded the expectations of the Dark Web, which is why they had inquired to avoid any mistake.

Yan Fei first confird the bounty through the ssage, then transferred 2 billion US Dollars from his offshore Secret Account into the Dark Web’s Margin Account, reconfirming the reward amount with this action. After receiving the margin, the Dark Web didn’t inquire further with Yan Fei but imdiately highlighted and pinned the task red, making it visible to all who logged onto the Dark Web.

Considering the Dark Web’s 5% service fee, once the Bounty Task was completed, the network would collect a 100 million US Dollar fee, a substantial inco for the Dark Web, which explained why they actively promoted it. They wanted more people to see this task and sought to complete it as soon as possible to earn the 100 million US Dollar service fee.
