However, it was already 10 a.m. local ti, the sky was clear and visibility was excellent, making the Drone, perched on the island, very easy to spot from the air. Therefore, Yan Fei took out his machete, chopped so branches from large trees on the island, and used them to camouflage the Drone, preventing it from being discovered.
Once the Drone was thoroughly concealed by the branches and couldn’t be spotted from any angle, Yan Fei took a camping tent out of Universal Space and set it up in a safe area next to the Drone to sleep.
Although Yan Fei’s injuries had almost healed, such severe wounds would inevitably cause so damage to his body, so he still felt exhausted. As soon as the aircraft stabilized on the tarmac, several military Transport Vehicles drove over to unload several large Shipping Containers from the aircraft and transfer them onto the vehicles. Then, escorted by several Fully Ard armored vehicles, the convoy of Transport Vehicles left the airport and headed toward Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
In a Humvee military vehicle nearby, George, the Scientist who had appeared in the Middle East, was talking with his good friend Richard.

“Richard, you’ve been almost maniacally testing and researching that mysterious wing’s Materials all the way here, saying you’ve already reached so conclusions. Do you think these findings are really that important? Could they even earn you next year’s Nobel Prize in Physics?” George asked with a tone of envy.
The usually timid and cautious Richard nodded excitedly and replied, “I already noticed that the Material of the wing was extraordinary because I discovered many interesting things within it. However, due to the lack of necessary detection thods on site, I couldn’t determine its exact composition, so whether my conclusions are correct remains to be verified. But once we transport this mysterious wing to the national Laboratory, it will be tested with the most advanced Equipnt. If the results match what I envision, I believe I may have discovered a groundbreaking new theory that will astonish the scientific community. By then, winning the Nobel Prize in Physics will be a piece of cake for .”
George enviously said, “Richard, I didn’t expect you to make such a trendous discovery in that godforsaken place in Syria. Unfortunately, as a chemist, I only discovered a highly toxic nerve Poisonous Gas there, and I can’t even disclose that finding.”
Richard patted his good friend’s shoulder, saying, “Don’t be sad, George. If I make so remarkable breakthrough, I’ll definitely add your na when I publish it.”
Overjoyed, George exclaid, “Richard, I knew it, you’re such a good guy! To repay your generosity, I’ll tell you a Secret that’s been weighing on my heart for years. That is, your wife, Jenny, used to work at a strip club, and I even frequented her business. But she has kept all this from you; she doesn’t deserve your love. When you get the Nobel Prize money, you must divorce Jenny…”
George suddenly stopped speaking because he saw Richard glaring at him angrily. George quickly explained, “Dear Richard, I’m your best friend, please believe , I really had no more than three intimate encounters with Jenny, and that was before she even t you… Ouch! Richard, why are you hitting ?”
The convoy arrived at Oak Ridge National Research Center and stopped in a vast parking lot. Richard, with disheveled hair, stood behind one of the vehicles, a bruised-faced George behind him. George looked miserable, while Richard seed to have forgotten the recent incident, his eyes shining with anticipation as he gazed at the Shipping Containers loaded on the Transport Vehicles.
A few Base Workers approached, unlocked the large padlocks on the Shipping Containers, and slowly opened the massive doors.
As the doors opened, Richard, filled with anticipation, watched, but his mood worsened with its progress, his face growing darker and more distressed until finally, he shouted, “Damn it, where is my item?”
George, puzzled, stepped forward to inspect and realized that while the container still had various securing Equipnt and ropes, the mysterious wing that should have been anchored inside was gone, vanished without a trace.
Startled, George stepped out to check the container’s number and flipped through his notebook, only to confirm that this was indeed the one that had held the mysterious wing. He and Richard had double and triple checked when loading the wing; now the wing had mysteriously disappeared, leaving only a ss of securing Equipnt and ropes…
Noticing the odd expressions on the two n’s faces, the Military Officer in charge of transporting these Items rushed over and was also shocked to find that the content of the Shipping Container had disappeared. The United States military began to investigate, checking all other Shipping Containers transported back from the Middle East, only to find everything else intact. Only the mysterious wing was missing.
Accordingly, the Military Officer imdiately reported this strange incident to his superiors. The US Forces had previously discovered Drones operating in the area and regarded the segnt of the wing, sliced from the Drone, as a treasure to be transported back to The United States. They had hoped to glean desired information from it to solve so lingering puzzles but were outraged when the wing mysteriously went missing.
The United States military embarked on an investigation, tracking the Shipping Container from the point it was packed to its journey on the Transport Aircraft and its transfer onto Transport Vehicles, and finally to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The entire transportation process was under surveillance with video footage for review. But when the military examined these videos, they found nothing out of the ordinary. The mysterious wing was packed into the Shipping Container, transported back to the Dostic market, and then inexplicably disappeared. No one could explain how such a large and heavy wing, weighing over two tons, could be moved without assistance under such tight security.
Despite extensive investigations by the United States military, the disappearance of the wing remained a mystery. In the end, the theft beca an unsolved case. With no other choice, the military had to find a scapegoat, and the ideal candidates were Richard and George, who had inspected the wing and personally escorted it. The military court accused the two n and sentenced them to life imprisonnt on the charge of attempting to steal national scientific secrets. Ironically, they continued to work at an undisclosed Base, with no knowledge of whether they would ever be released, a twist of fate that darkly echoed their earlier jest…
