Chapter 260: Chapter 148: Inviting Divine Possession

Soon enough, the Drone returned to those cave entrances, only to discover two persons running swiftly on the road in front of the caves. Under the scan of the Quantum Radar, the outlines of these two individuals suddenly appeared before Yan Fei’s eyes. Although he couldn’t see their live images, just by their outlines, he realized they were the recently vanished Yang Wanlin and his robust middle-aged Bodyguard.
These two had disappeared during Yan Fei’s massacre and it was unknown where they had gone to. Yan Fei had thought they got lost within the City in the mountains and breathed in the Poisonous Gas he released, dying from the exposure. To his surprise, their luck had been so good that not only had they fortunately survived the massacre in the stone chamber, but they had also found the correct path to leave the City in the mountains, and now they had successfully escaped the gas attack.

The fundantal reason Yan Fei encountered the Assassin Sect was that the Yang Family of Beijing in Dostic and The United States of Arica’s Green Pine Capital coveted Yan Fei’s Dream Technology Weight Loss Cookies and sought to devour his Company. Hence, they took the initiative to collude with the assassins of the Assassin Sect to jointly deal with Yan Fei. Their sche was extrely vicious, and if it weren’t for the sudden appearance of Old Man Gu, informing Yan Fei of Lu Pingping’s whereabouts, their plan would have succeeded long ago.
Yan Fei subsequently clashed head-on with the Assassin Sect, killing their Assassins, which led the sect to take retaliatory actions. They eliminated Dream Technology employees on a business trip in Europe and tortured Liu Tingting to death. Although the later actions of the Assassin Sect were not directly related to the Yang Family of the Empire and Green Pine Capital, they were still implicated. Yan Fei’s initial Plan was to retaliate against these two Forces in the coming ti, but he had not expected to encounter the fortunately escaped Yang Wanlin here. Yang Wanlin was also involved in the conspiracy against Yan Fei, making him one of the masterminds. It seed that “Novichok” had started to take its toll, and there must have been a considerable number of casualties inside the City, or else these people wouldn’t be fleeing so frantically.
A thought crossed Yan Fei’s mind, and he chose not to imdiately eliminate Yang Wanlin and his Bodyguard. Instead, he turned the Drone around and, utilizing the Drone’s Vulcan Gun, began attacking the vehicles and escaping Assassin Sect mbers below. Yang Wanlin, being an outsider, was unfamiliar with the local Terrain, so he couldn’t get far here. Yan Fei could still eliminate him later. But the Sect mbers were different; they were locals, nurous, and very familiar with the Terrain. If they were allowed to escape and find a place to hide, Yan Fei might never find them again. Thus, Yan Fei decided to temporarily spare Yang Wanlin, prioritizing the Sect mbers and eradicating the Sect from its roots.
With a single thought from Yan Fei, fire tongues suddenly appeared in the dark sky, and violent explosions occurred on the ground. The swiftly-moving vehicles were blasted away by 30-milliter Naval Cannons, enveloping the Sect mbers in the explosions and eting their untily death. After the convoy was annihilated, the Drone turned around and began attacking the scattering fleeing Sect mbers.
