Seeing the bearded man suddenly pointing at him and calling out his na as the Destroyer, Yan Fei was startled. He had not expected his identity to be uncovered by the bearded man at that mont. However, as soon as he rembered that this was the Assassin Sect, where assassination techniques had been developed into an art form, he felt a sense of relief. Yan Fei, having his identity exposed by the bearded man, did not deny it. He ripped off the foul-slling robe he was wearing to reveal the black vigorous attire beneath, yet he did not remove the mask that covered his face. He laughed heartily and said, “True to the reputation of the Assassin Sect, you indeed have so skills to have discovered my infiltration so quickly.”
Seeing Yan Fei acknowledge his identity as the Destroyer, the other envoys and higher-ups from the Assassin Sect were shocked. They hurriedly flipped over their tables, stood up, drew the weapons they carried, and surrounded Yan Fei. Yang Wanlin, standing nearby, was also taken aback. He had not expected one of the people who had entered the Assassin Sect Headquarters with him to be soone seeking trouble with the Sect. Already on edge, he imdiately shrank back, hiding behind the crowd, while the solidly built middle-aged man closely followed, ensuring his safety. The middle-aged man’s eyes glinted as he watched Yan Fei within the encirclent.
The bearded man sneered and said, “Destroyer, you underestimate our Assassin Sect. Did you really think that just because the equipnt you passed on the way in didn’t detect you, you could safely infiltrate us?”
Yan Fei’s heart stirred, and he asked, “Do you have other thods to determine if an enemy has broken in?”
The bearded man said, “On the path where you ca in, there are nurous programs in places visible to the eye that check your identity. And in places invisible to the eye, there are just as many devices detecting you. So, even if you are well-prepared and pass the visible checks, you will be discovered by the hidden detectors. For example, the elevator you entered for the first ti has another identity – it’s an X-ray Detector. As soon as you entered the elevator, with the X-ray shining down, we could see right through you. You intentionally reduced the gaps between your bones, making your body smaller, and that naturally exposed you.”

Yan Fei felt enlightened by this explanation. He had not expected the opposition to have so many hidden modern devices and instrunts that could clearly expose his true form. He asked, “Was it in that elevator that you identified ?”
The bearded man shook his head and said, “How could we be so slow? If an enemy managed to infiltrate as far as the elevator, he would have already caused us massive losses. In fact, as soon as you mixed into Ali’s squad, our people noticed you. You must be curious, considering how convincingly you disguised yourself as one of our warriors, why you were discovered imdiately?”

When Ali first entered the tal door, he had gone into an enclosed room and called on a landline to inform of the situation and ask for further instructions. I told him to bring you here. Did you really think you could infiltrate the most secretive part of the Assassin Sect without any scrutiny, just because your face was covered? That would be a severe underestimation of our Sect’s security asures. Now that you’ve co to this room, where all the Sect’s elites are gathered, you are simply seeking your own death. By killing you, we will be rid of the sha you’ve brought upon our Sect.”
Yan Fei then realized why he had been discovered by the bearded man. The people of the Assassin Sect had such code-like secrets embedded within them. He also understood why he was able to easily make his way into the stone house; the opposite party had intended to let him fall into their trap. He laughed once more and said, “The reputation of the Assassin Sect indeed precedes it, with such a thod for identifying identities. It’s truly beyond comprehension, no wonder it has stood unchallenged for so many years. However, I have one more question: how did you know that I am the Destroyer?”
Maybe feeling confident of victory, the bearded man began to satisfy Yan Fei’s curiosity, “The Assassin Sect has been established for nearly a thousand years, and no one has dared to assault our Headquarters because we have killed them all.
