Chapter 239: Chapter 135: Biochemical Weapon
The Red Helt organization nestled in the valley, once reveling in dreams of glory and wealth as they were about to go out and assist The United States of Arica in harming their own citizens, never anticipated that before they could leave the valley, they would et their untily end, with the entire leadership of the organization wiped out. Without these treacherous leaders, the rest of the Red Helt mbers could hardly make any waves.
Yan Fei had never expected that his strike to eliminate the hidden dangers in China’s Greater Northwest would incidentally help the Syrian governnt get rid of a major nace. Not only did he ensure the safety of the people within Syria, but he also prevented them from being unjustly attacked by Allied Forces led by The United States of Arica, which could be considered a significant favor to the Syrian governnt forces.
The mbers of the KB Organization were also completely wiped out in the Drone’s attack, unable to continue their reign of terror. Their aspirations to restore their ancestors’ glory could now only be pursued in Hell. It’s unclear whether Hell’s devil and their master have a good relationship, or whether they would allow these KB mbers to build their own forces in Hell. The elimination of these KB mbers also thoroughly resolved a major concern for China and eliminated the hidden danger in the Greater Northwest. Unfortunately for Yan Fei, he could not publicize this victory and had to remain an unsung hero behind the scenes.
As for the death of the Arican general Lynch and the several hundred Arican soldiers he led, they got what they deserved. On the surface, they intervened in the Middle East conflict under the guise of righteousness in combating KB militants, but secretly they nurtured and funded these KB militants to achieve their own unspeakable aims, making them even more detestable than the KB militants. Thus, Yan Fei felt no psychological burden in eliminating these US Forces. However, with The United States of Arica’s military strength being incredibly formidable, even with the Drone at hand, Yan Fei was still far from being a match for the US Forces, and he wasn’t audacious enough to confront them directly. But the fortuitous chance to eliminate so wicked Arican soldiers here sowhat fulfilled a small wish of his.
On the cliffs flanking the valley, so Arican lookouts and snipers were still hiding. Watching the Drone’s massacre of the Allied Forces in the valley from their lofty vantage points, they were terrified by the Drone’s fearso power. Their first instinct was to contact their base in the hopes of securing fire support from the US Forces. Sadly for them, Yan Fei had destroyed their communication vehicle at the first opportunity, leaving them unable to reach the US Forces from this wilderness.
Then they discovered that the Drone, which had slaughtered the Allied Forces in the valley, was ascending towards them, hovering in front of them. They realized this was a bad on, but before they could react, the Drone’s naval cannon opened fire, and a few aircraft cannon shells killed all the remaining combat personnel of the US Forces in hiding.
...
With that, aside from the envoy from the Assassin Sect that Yan Fei deliberately let escape, all the Allied Forces in the valley were annihilated with none spared. Even the fleeing envoy from the Assassin Sect was under constant surveillance by the Drone Quantum Radar.
The Drone hovered over the valley for a while, reconfirming that not a single enemy soldier remained alive on the ground. The Drone then began to descend in altitude, the cockpit door opened upward, and Yan Fei jumped out, leaping to the ground from high above and stirring up a cloud of yellow dust as he landed firmly on the earth.
With Yan Fei’s current strength, jumping from dozens of ters high posed no risk of injury. Standing on the ground, he saw the valley strewn with craters of various sizes and the charred wreckage of exploded vehicles, with a multitude of enemy corpses nearby.
The corpses were horrific, so dismbered, so with guts spilling out, or heads blown apart with brains splattered. Body parts were scattered everywhere, fresh blood still oozing out, only to be quickly absorbed by the sandy earth and vanish from sight. However, the blood dyed the sandy ground a vivid red, creating a sinister sight.
Walking past these gruesoly dead bodies, Yan Fei was unmoved. He had grown from his early severe reaction upon first seeing a corpse to now being able to calmly face even more terrifying piles of them.
As Yan Fei made his way among the bodies, he discovered that not all transport vehicles had been blown up by the Drone—so had miraculously survived the blasts. He began carefully checking those vehicles and found a large stash of Weapons and ammunition. The markings on these items revealed that they were brand-new products from The United States of Arica, intended to support the KB militants for KB Attacks.
Previously, when Yan Fei had scanned the F-15 Fighter Jet in Japan, he had entered a small Military Arsenal of the US Forces and collected so ammunition. At that ti, however, his Universal Space was small, and he didn’t collect much. Moreover, most of these Weapons and ammunition were nearly depleted after successive battles.
Yan Fei’s mission in the Middle East was to utterly destroy the Assassin Sect, and to achieve this goal, many battles were inevitable. Relying solely on his own strength was hardly sufficient; he needed additional Weapons, and quite a few of them. The discovery of these Weapons and ammunition prompted him to imdiately transfer them to his Universal Space. Any Weapon and ammunition would be useful soday, so he could not go wrong by keeping them.
Yan Fei was clearing the battlefield as he collected the weapons and ammunition left on the vehicles. Then he saw a red-helted mber of the rcenary group, killed by the explosion, lying next to a transport vehicle up ahead. Upon closer inspection, he found that this red-helt was the very one who had been bought off by Lynch. His heart stirred, and from a distance, he noticed that the transport vehicle next to the rcenary had not been destroyed. However, peering through the gap in the canvas cover that had already been ripped open, Yan Fei discovered sothing odd inside the vehicle.
Rembering the conversation between Lynch and this red-helted mber, Yan Fei imdiately took out a gas mask from the Universal Space and put it on his head. He then dressed in protective garnt, covering himself thoroughly, before carefully approaching the transport vehicle. He pulled back the canvas at the rear of the vehicle and saw a massive container inside. On this container, a toxic skull symbol was painted, along with a string of English letters. Yan Fei imdiately recognized what these letters ant—it spelled “Novichok.”
Under normal circumstances, Yan Fei would not have known what “Novichok” was, but earlier that year, there had been a poisoning incident involving a forr Russian spy and his daughter in Britain. The incident had caused quite a stir, with complexities and ambiguities leaving everyone unsure of what really happened. The British were adamant that Russia, their archenemy, was behind it, based on the nerve agent “Novichok” found at the scene, which was a chemical weapon unique to Russia. This had led to a series of diplomatic disputes among several countries.
Yan Fei had followed the developnts of the Russian forr spy’s poisoning with curiosity, but had not seen any conclusive results. He simply rembered the na of the nerve agent “Novichok” that was repeatedly ntioned in the case because the na appeared so frequently it was hard for him not to rember. Now that Yan Fei had encountered this nerve agent, he suddenly realized that Russia had indeed been frad by Britain and The United States of Arica. As a world leader in technology, how could the US not be able to replicate Russia’s nerve agent “Novichok”? It was clear that Russia was set up by the US and Britain, but Yan Fei wasn’t particularly fond of Russia, so he felt no obligation to help clear their na.
After so thought, Yan Fei still decided to place the container filled with “Novichok” into the Universal Space. It was a biochemical weapon, a weapon of mass destruction, which could be useful at any ti. Yan Fei then found a manual on how to use the nerve agent “Novichok” in the transport vehicle. It turned out that the US Forces, fearing another error by the red-helted mbers, had made a detailed instruction manual. Anyone could use this highly toxic nerve agent if they followed the instructions provided in the manual.
Upon seeing this product manual, Yan Fei sighed. Those red-helted mbers believed that after completing their final task they could escape their misery and live happily ever after in western countries, not realizing that the US had prepared to abandon them after using them. As soon as the rcenaries had served their purpose, they would be imdiately eliminated by the US Forces. Even the product manual contained traps—if operated as instructed, it would cause the nerve agent to erupt abruptly, killing the red-helted mbers on the spot. Given the infamy of the rcenaries in the West, their deaths would stir up public opinion, which, with public support, allowed them to achieve their strategic objectives in Syria.
The reason Yan Fei dared to take the container filled with “Novichok” into Universal Space was that just after he had uploaded the product usage instructions into the Auxiliary Brain’s database, the Auxiliary Brain quickly identified several inconsistencies. Following the instructions would undoubtedly trigger an imdiate explosion of the container. However, after analyzing the container’s structure and combing through the properties of “Novichok,” the Auxiliary Brain deduced the correct thod for utilizing the nerve agent. Hence, while for others the container was a horrifying suicide bomb, for Yan Fei, it was an excellent biochemical weapon.
If Yan Fei’s goal was the complete annihilation of the Assassin Sect, he would need imnse strength. Though the Drone Avatar was powerful, it did not guarantee the total eradication of the Assassin Sect. With the container of “Novichok” nerve agent now in his possession, Yan Fei’s chances of success had increased significantly.
After taking the container, there was no longer a single intact transport vehicle left in the valley. The weapons and ammunition in the other transport vehicles had exploded during the Drone’s attack and could no longer be used. However, Yan Fei had already collected a lot of practical weapons, and with the addition of the terrifying nerve agent “Novichok,” he was quite content.
The Drones then began to land on the ground, Yan Fei returned to the cockpit, the cockpit door closed, and the Drones quickly ascended, flying away into the distance, disappearing amid the blood and fire of the valley.
In the valley left behind the Drones, corpses were everywhere, blood was everywhere, and fires were rampant, as if it were a scene of bloody slaughter straight from Hell. Who knows what theories others will co up with when they discover this site of massacre, and who or what they will suspect as the true culprit?
