Right now, he was carrying Lu Pingping on his back, walking along a small path by the sea. Suddenly, he felt a movent on his back, signaling that Lu Pingping had stirred and then woken up.
Then Lu Pingping realized she was being carried on a trail by Yan Fei. She leaned her head against Yan Fei’s back, her arms around his neck, and said, “Fei, are we dead? Are we on our way to the Underworld now?”
Yan Fei was taken aback and before he could speak, Lu Pingping continued, “When we see ng Po, I don’t want to drink her ng Po Soup. I want to keep the mories of this life…”
Yan Fei couldn’t help but laugh and said, “Pingping, look around at our surroundings, the air is fresh, birds are singing, flowers are fragrant, and the sun is shining brightly. Does this seem like the eerie and terrifying Underworld to you?”
Lu Pingping looked around and realized that, although there were no signs of human life, the area was full of lush trees and brimming with vitality, nothing like the ominous Underworld she had imagined. She said with confusion, “Where is this place? And what about the kidnappers? I rember that we fell from a high altitude, how co we are unhard?”
Yan Fei said, “Pingping, we are in the suburbs of Shanghai. We’ve safely returned. As for those kidnappers, I have killed them all. Yan Fei had a very special relationship with Lu Pingping, and since she had already seen herself on the seaplane and also discovered so of his special abilities, he did not hide the truth from her. However, he did not tell her about the drone, after all, Lu Pingping had been unconscious in the air and had not seen the drone. Yan Fei did this to protect Lu Pingping; the less she knew, the safer she would be.
But Lu Pingping was clever and had already deduced so truths from the details of the events on the plane, knowing that Yan Fei must have had a fortuitous encounter; however, she did not bring it up, to avoid embarrassnt for both parties.
Lu Pingping lay on Yan Fei’s back, feeling the strength of his broad shoulders, and upon realizing she was not dead, her eyes lit up as she said, “Fei, I had no idea you were so impressive. Not only did you find my location, but you were also able to board the airplane to rescue soone.”
Yan Fei responded with a smile, “No matter where you are, if you are in danger, I will co to rescue you. As for my skills, well… I’ve been practicing recently. How could those small fry be any match for ?”
Lu Pingping said, “Fei, if I’m ever taken hostage again, please don’t co to rescue . I don’t want you to get hurt. Last night was too dangerous. At an altitude of ten thousand ters, one slip could have been disastrous. I still feel dizzy thinking about it.”
Yan Fei chuckled but remained silent. How could he possibly not co to her rescue in such a situation, no matter how dangerous?

Yan Fei replied, “Liu Hong was seriously injured by the enemy and is still unconscious in the hospital; Wang Li has been killed by the enemy.”
Lu Pingping felt sad and said, “They protected diligently during this ti. To save , they paid a high price, and I will never forget how they bravely blocked those kidnappers to protect .”
Yan Fei said, “They were the finest soldiers and the best bodyguards. I deeply regret what happened to them. That’s why I will take care of their affairs; we can’t let our heroes shed both blood and tears.”
Lu Pingping continued, “Wang Li was an only daughter, with two elderly parents left behind. We must handle Wang Li’s affairs properly and take good care of her parents. We also can’t let Liu Hong lie in bed forever; we have to send her to the best hospital and call upon the best experts to ensure her recovery.”
