Due to the existence of the Destiny Organization, Yan Fei beca aware of matters concerning high-dinsional space, but it was the first ti he heard of parallel universes. Curiously, he asked: “Parallel universe? Do such universes really exist?”
Yang Qi said: “I still can’t prove the existence of parallel universes, but through so natural phenona on Earth, I have been able to confirm that parallel universes do indeed exist.”
Yan Fei asked: “What kind of natural phenona?”
Yang Qi said: “For instance, the déjà vu you just ntioned. It’s when you do sothing that feels very familiar, but you actually haven’t done it before. If my conclusion regarding quantum entangled brains is correct, then it indicates that in the parallel universe space there is a person just like you, who transmits the things they have done to your brain through the quantum entanglent theory, hiding this part of the mory deep within your brain. When you do the sa things in our universe, that’s why you feel very familiar.”
“Another example is the mirages frequently appearing on Earth. Initially, everyone thought it was an optical phenonon of Earth, caused by differences in temperature leading to optical refraction of objects from other parts of Earth. But gradually, people discovered that despite capturing images of the mirages, they couldn’t find any location on Earth that matched the captured images 100%. This also reminds us that outside of our world, there exists a parallel universe. This parallel universe, although very similar to our universe, has certain differences, which is why we can’t find a place exactly like the mirage images.”
Yan Fei suddenly had a mind-opening thought and said: “According to your theory, our universe could also be a parallel world of another universe. I am the controller of the brain in that other universe, and as long as I imagine, I can transmit my consciousness and mory to the brain of that other world, altering the consciousness and mory of the other side. Is that so?”
Yang Qi said: “In theory, that’s indeed the case. In that other parallel universe, there will also be mirages, but those mirages will all be images of our universe, which will be slightly different from the actual locations in their universe. They too cannot find the places depicted in the mirage images in their world.”
Yan Fei said: “Can I really influence the brain in the parallel space?”
Yang Qi said: “Yes, I believe you can influence the brain in that parallel space.”
Yan Fei curiously asked: “If that’s the case, how do I exert influence on the other person’s brain?”
Yang Qi said: “Do you dream?”
Yan Fei said: “Sotis.”
Yang Qi said: “Once you enter Dreamland, you inexplicably perform so very strange activities in the dreams, so of which align with your real life, but most of the dreaming content is entirely unrelated to your life. When you dream, you only have a very vague sense of the occurrences in the dream. When you wake up, it only takes a short ti, no matter how good your mory is, for your recollection of the dream to completely fade. Do you know why?”
Yan Fei shook his head, indicating he had no knowledge of the answer.
Yang Qi said: “I believe your dreams are not rely dreams; it is very likely that you are influencing the brain in the parallel space, infusing so of your consciousness and thoughts into them, and altering their thoughts and mories. For you, it’s just dreaming, and once the dream is over, you’ve forgotten it, but for them, it might be their brain suddenly being filled with many inexplicable ideas, or many brand new mories.”
Yan Fei said with surprise: “No way? Dreaming is actually influencing the parallel world; this is one wild thought!”
Yang Qi said: “This is just my conjecture, no one can verify its truth.”
Yan Fei was silent for a mont and said: “You’re saying that my mory issues are a result of soone influencing my brain through the quantum entanglent effect, but the person exerting the influence might not be aware of any of this; they are doing this inadvertently, not targeting intentionally, right?”
Yang Qi said: “Exactly, that’s very likely the truth of the matter. But without having personally witnessed a parallel universe or obtained any research data, I can’t know whether the person altering your mory did it intentionally.”
Yan Fei asked again: “Why am I the only one with mory issues? I have never heard of others ntioning such problems.”
Yang Qi shrugged, saying: “That I don’t know.”
Yan Fei initially just wanted to discuss his mory issues with Yang Qi, but he didn’t expect to hear such a mind-blowing theory from him. Although he found the theory sowhat absurd, deep down he felt Yang Qi might be right. But in this case, he would have to rethink how to proceed with his next step and how to avoid others’ interference with him.
