Chapter 1627: Chapter 631: Civilizations Cycle_2

On that stone stele, a record was etched detailing an interstellar war between the Cultivation Civilization and aliens. In the chronicles by soone nad Xuanhuangzi, the enemies who fought against the Cultivation Civilization were referred to as Outer Demons. These Outer Demons fought by operating massive steel machines against cultivators. Xuanhuangzi’s description of the Outer Demons was identical to the depiction of the Human High-tech Civilization fighting against the Ape Tribe, suggesting the enemies of the Cultivation Civilization were also the Human High-tech Civilization possessing Space Fortresses.

Xuanhuangzi did not record the ultimate outco of the great battle between the two sides, but from the site and certain intelligence, it can be inferred that the Human Technological Civilization ultimately defeated the Cultivation Civilization and destroyed it completely. However, this war must have severely impacted the Technological Civilization, as they suffered catastrophic losses as well. For unknown reasons, the victorious humans did not stay in the star domain of the Cultivation Civilization but took the captive cultivators from the war and once again embarked on a wandering journey through the cosmos.

Perhaps the Human Technological Civilization encountered warfare with other races in space, or maybe they never truly recovered from the battle with the Cultivation Civilization. Either way, the wandering Technological Civilization faced a crisis of resource scarcity. Simultaneously, during this period, the strength of the Human Technological Civilization plumted to its lowest point, which explains why, upon discovering the Ape Tribe Civilization that had yet to leave the Solar System, they were unable to defeat them in a short ti. In fact, they were eventually ambushed by the Ape Tribe, leading to their complete annihilation.

Although the Human Technological Civilization was fully destroyed, the equipnt holding the captive cultivators still remained functional. Even as violent explosions fragnted the Space Fortress, these cultivators remained unable to escape their confinent. It was not until forty thousand years later, when the equipnt keeping them trapped malfunctioned, that the cultivators finally managed to break free.

The surviving cultivators were deeply wary of the device that had imprisoned them. Even after escaping, they dared not remain nearby, swiftly leaving the area to avoid being captured again.

After escaping, the first thing these cultivators did was search for the Human Technological Civilization to exact revenge for the destruction of their Cultivation Civilization. However, by then, the Technological Civilization had vanished, leaving the cultivators unable to locate its whereabouts. Although they encountered primitive humans in the dense forests, they never associated these primitive beings with the civilization that had defeated them, instinctively disregarding them.

A thousand years passed, and the dejected cultivators began arguing over certain matters. These disputes ultimately escalated into an unprecedented civil war among the cultivators. During this battle, captured by the surveillance satellites of the Ape Tribe, Yan Fei witnessed the entire process. The cultivators’ combat thods exceeded his imagination, with every move possessing the power to destroy planets, showcasing unparalleled combat strength. He could not fathom how the Human Technological Civilization had managed to annihilate the Cultivation Civilization.

This cultivator civil war was observed by primitive humans. Unable to comprehend the unnatural forces beyond their imagination, they began to revere the cultivators as gods. Shortly after the war, mythology erged within ancient tribal communities, with the cultivators becoming the protagonists of these myths and legends…

The outbreak of this cultivator civil war inflicted imnse damage on Earth’s environnt and reduced the number of cultivators by half. The remaining cultivators split into two factions. One faction ascended into space, leaving the Solar System, seeking to return to their ancestral star to rebuild the Cultivation Civilization. The other faction, resigned to their fate, decided to stay on Earth and make it their new ho.

Soon, half the cultivators departed the Solar System, venturing deep into the universe, while the other half remained on Earth. However, with their exceptionally long lifespans, they gradually grew bored. So cultivators began gathering primitive humans and awakened their intelligence, imparting various knowledge to them.

Destiny played a profound irony: the Technological Civilization that destroyed the Cultivation Civilization beca the descendants of the latter, as the surviving cultivators helped their successors awaken civil wisdom, even teaching them the knowledge and techniques of the Cultivation Civilization. The once Technological Civilization transford into the Cultivation Civilization, becoming its direct inheritors—an exquisite form of satire.

Under the influence of the cultivators, the primitive humans quickly erged from their ignorance, sparking the beginnings of the Cultivation Civilization. The cultivators continuously shared the history of their civilization, which humans diligently morized and embedded as their cultural tradition, passing it down through generations. Forty thousand years after the simultaneous demise of the Human Technological Civilization and Ape Tribe Civilization, Earth witnessed the rise of a new civilization—neither Technological nor Ape Tribe, but instead, the Cultivation Civilization…

Another ten thousand years passed. Within this span, humans fully transitioned into the Cultivation Civilization. However, due to physical limitations, the proportion of strong cultivators among humans remained exceptionally low. Nevertheless, guided by systematic cultivation thods, human experts increasingly erged, leading to the rise of many novice cultivators with combat power comparable to today’s God-Level Experts.

As humanity regained strength, its population exceeded ten million. Just as humans were on the cusp of a resurgence, the cultivators who had educated them began succumbing to the inevitable problem of lifespan exhaustion. Over the following hundred years, these cultivators passed away one after another, until Earth’s surviving cultivators from the original Cultivation Civilization all perished. However, the civilization they left behind continued to be inherited, spreading and growing across Earth…

Another ten thousand years elapsed, during which Earth was just about to transform entirely into a Cultivation Civilization. However, with the death of the cultivators who had maintained order, ambitious figures within humanity erged. Driven by self-interest, they began instigating unrest, plunging human society into chaos. Consequently, humanity split into two factions, engaging in a frenzied conflict. This led to yet another destructive global war.

Although less grandiose than the wars of the Technological Civilization, the battles among cultivators were still devastating. Despite the limited number of true cultivators in this civilization, the presence of nurous warriors comparable to God-Level Experts made the fighting scenes imnsely brutal. The environntal damage was severe, and the human casualties enormous.

This war saw no victors. By its end, the human world was left in shambles, with the cultivators and God-Level Experts, who had once been the core strength, nearly wiped out. Humanity’s population dwindled to less than a million, resulting in another population crisis. With the deaths of key figures, human understanding of the Cultivation Civilization suffered a knowledge gap. The practices of cultivation were quickly forgotten, leaving only remnants. Without complete inheritance of the Cultivation Civilization or advancents in technology, humanity once again lost its opportunity to rapidly grow strong.

At the ti of the Cultivation Civilization’s destruction, sixty thousand years had passed since humanity’s arrival on Earth. During this ti, the chimpanzees continued their decline. As the years dragged on, their brains increasingly devolved, leading the Ape Tribe Civilization to a total collapse, with no possibility of revival.

Following the fall of the Cultivation Civilization, humanity sank into dormancy once more. Ti sped forward, and another ten thousand years passed. In this era, humanity’s imnse reproductive capacity allowed them to regain their nurical advantage, with their total population once again rising above ten million.

Regrettably, without guidance from other civilizations, humanity could no longer progress rapidly. Nevertheless, through a series of fateful encounters, evolution began anew. However, this evolution was slow and primitive. Over the ensuing five thousand years, the process through which chimpanzees evolved into Modern Civilization replayed itself among humans…
