Chapter 1611: Chapter 625 Nuclear Missile Threat_2

Everything that was happening here gave Yan Fei a sense of déjà vu, and that was because Dream Island had experienced sothing similar before. During that previous bug incident, Yan Fei lost track of Somsolov, who had invaded Dream Island. To this day, Yan Fei still doesn’t know where Somsolov ended up. Although he believes Somsolov is dead, he never found Somsolov’s body.

Since that event, Yan Fei had repaired the bug in the surveillance system. By all logical reasoning, there shouldn’t be another bug in Dream Island’s surveillance system. Yet now, at this critical mont, an unknown bug has appeared again. This made Yan Fei suspicious—he suspected soone might be secretly manipulating things. But Destiny, also known as Wen Rou, was already dead, and she had no hidden accomplices operating behind the scenes. So why would events that seed to be under manipulative influence still occur?

Fortunately, after “Dream” analyzed the data from other surveillance caras at Dream Island’s secondary checkpoint, no traces of external enemies entering Dream Island were discovered. This ant that regardless of what was happening in the surrounding sea, the previously identified enemies did not manage to infiltrate Dream Island, which could be considered a small blessing amidst the misfortune.

Still, Yan Fei dared not let his guard down. On one hand, he tasked a fighter jet to continuously patrol the northern waters of Dream Island, searching for any clues below; on the other, he deployed the heavy armor units of the Dream Island Guard to head toward the northern sea, intending to blockade the area and prevent any suspicious enemy forces from entering Dream Island…

By the ti Yan Fei finished dealing with the intrusion matters on Dream Island, five more minutes had passed. He was still navigating through the scorching magma, unable to see an exit. At this point, it had been ten minutes since his super combat armor had entered the magma. His operations armor could survive in the magma for another 20 minutes, so for now, Yan Fei wasn’t overly anxious. He believed this magma pathway wouldn’t stretch endlessly; as long as he continued swimming forward, he would soon escape.

Yan Fei kept swimming while directing his attention to the drone avatar high above Mount Kilimanjaro. Utilizing the drone avatar’s extraordinary vision and auditory capabilities, he monitored the conditions below from a vantage point.

A massive earthquake had struck Mount Kilimanjaro’s underground space, accompanied by signs of light volcanic activity. Since Wen Rou’s underground space began collapsing, the surface of Mount Kilimanjaro had started to show red magma. The magma flowed out from various cavities and fissures of differing sizes, igniting the vegetation on the mountain. Fierce wildfires began spreading across Mount Kilimanjaro, covering the entire mountain in thick, billowing smoke.

That wasn’t all—under the influence of the earthquake, Mount Kilimanjaro experienced massive landslides. Entire sections of the mountain suddenly gave way, forming steep new cliffs. The catastrophic changes at Mount Kilimanjaro startled all the resting beasts and animals there, prompting them to flee wildly and frantically.

Unlike when Yan Fei first entered the mountain’s interior, Mount Kilimanjaro was no longer calm and peaceful. It had turned ferocious and violent, dangerous at every turn, showcasing the formidable and terrifying power of nature…

At the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, smoke began billowing out from the narrow entrance of a small cave. Clearly, there was a fire burning within. However, Yan Fei didn’t see the god-level experts exiting the underground near the cave entrance.

Just as Yan Fei was wondering whether those god-level experts were trapped in the collapsing cave, the entrance suddenly exploded from the inside, and figures began erging in succession. These were the god-level experts escaping from the underground. They stood on the open ground near the cave entrance, visibly shaken, surveying the apocalyptic and terrifying surroundings with lingering fear.

As the last individual sprinted out of the cave, the cave entrance exploded again before collapsing entirely, disappearing without a trace. Of the fifteen god-level experts who had entered the cave, only twelve managed to escape. They had lost three of their number.

The last person to flee the cave was Captain China, who was holding the unconscious Sun Tie in his hands. Captain China looked at the collapsed cave behind him, his eyes filled with complexity. In his view, the now-sealed tunnel leading to the underground ant that Yan Fei, who had not yet erged, was likely dood.

Nearby, Tripiṭaka conducted a thorough search and unexpectedly found a small parcel beneath a stone. He opened the parcel, took out the equipnt inside, and began assembling them from individual components. Once completed, the device transford into a communicator capable of external contact. Tripiṭaka then used it to attempt communication with those outside…

anwhile, Yan Fei’s drone avatar continued to monitor the situation below in real-ti while scanning the surroundings. Through the expansive quantum radar scans, Yan Fei discovered that The United States of Arica’s air force base on Diego Garcia Island in the central Indian Ocean had dispatched ten B-1 “Lancer” bombers. These bombers were flying over the Indian Ocean, targeting the area near the African continent where Kenya and Tanzania et.

Under orders, these B-1 “Lancer” bombers unleashed ten AGM-129 stealth cruise missiles in rapid succession from beneath their pylons. The missiles darted westward swiftly. Based on predictions derived from their trajectories, their target appeared to be Mount Kilimanjaro.
