So, this Spring Festival was truly a happy one for Su Lixing, pure and simple joy.

All the figurines from Linhai’s ho were specially air-shipped to Xilin, with a room chosen specifically for him to store them. Now, Su finally enjoyed the happiness of locking himself in a room and playing for a whole day without any annoying interruptions.

At most, he’d be nagged a bit by Ms. Su in private.

But of course, it’s just casual nagging. After all, even if he wanted to help out with the kids, Ms. Su found him too clumsy...

In short, this Year of the Horse, it was a joyful Spring Festival for the Qiao Family. Everyone had their own things to do. The most delightful ones were the two little ones, Qiao Zhenxuan and Qiao Peng.

As they grew older, the two little ones spent more ti awake. Perhaps because the younger one was more lively, now they both needed just twelve to thirteen hours of sleep.

The rest of the ti, they explored the world. Either crawling around on the mat in the living room or, when the weather was nice, Dou Dou would take them out to the garden of the villa complex to stroll around and soak up so sun.

The only thing different about this New Year was perhaps that Qiao Ze chose to be more relaxed.

For example, there wasn’t a heavyweight... or rather, no papers published. Qiao Ze always had high standards for his papers. Unless they reached a certain level, he wouldn’t publish them.

Watered-down papers? Not possible.

If Qiao Ze really wanted to submit diocre papers, he could probably send one to a top journal each month without any rejections. After all, over the past year, he’s received at least dozens of solicitations for papers in mathematics and physics.

But Qiao Ze finds it aningless.

According to Qiao Ze’s standards, papers that don’t present eye-opening tools or new discoveries rely increase the workload of literature searches and waste the efforts of future generations.

After all, Qiao Ze knows well how exhausting it is to sift through papers to find the gold among the dung. He doesn’t want future mathematics enthusiasts to go through the sa trouble.

So, even when his doctoral students wanted to list him as a co-author, he simply refused.

After all, the advisor of those doctoral students is Dou Dou, and Qiao Ze doesn’t want to take undue credit.

This year, though, Peter Schultz had remarkable academic achievents. Last month, he published a paper titled "Interweavings in Complete Residual Spaces: Structures and Homological Analysis in p-adic Geotry" in the international edition of "New Discoveries in Mathematics and Physics" and received many high praises.

As the title suggests, during his ti in Huaxia, Peter Schultz blended interweaving concepts with p-adic geotry and complete residual concepts and published this paper.

This represents that Schultz is one step closer to achieving his goals, and it ans that perhaps, in a few years, he may truly build bridges across various mathematical fields.

This year, Edward Witten’s major achievent was publishing a book with Dou Dou’s assistance—"Introduction to Mathematical Interweaving: From Basics to Applications."

It primarily covers the most fundantal aspects of mathematical interweaving.

For those abroad aiming to delve into mathematical interweaving research, it serves as a very practical introductory book.

The book also proposes a series of heuristic questions, ideal for new mathematicians to ponder.

In general, from an academic perspective, both gained much from their visit to Huaxia.

As an exchange, Han has returned from the University of Bonn to Xilin. Before the Spring Festival, the most important task was to select the second professor to go to the University of Bonn for exchange next year.

However, it was much easier this ti. After all, a few hundred young professors were hired before, and most have the qualifications to be exchange professors after working at the institute for over six months.

Moreover, with a larger pool, there’s always soone willing to spend a year abroad.

Especially with the series of recent events, which would make life’s comforts abroad more enjoyable. Not to ntion, with the current exchange rates, it’s quite cost-effective to go now.

Yes, though who knows about the future, right now it surely is cost-effective.

The only downside is that the foreign products aren’t as enviable as they used to be years ago.

In fact, ever since the introduction of new material models, the reputation of Huaxia-made products has risen another notch. The improvent in product quality is clearly visible to the naked eye.

News has repeatedly exposed many foreign high-end products, including many luxury brands, which though mostly made in Huaxia, are criticized for not using top-end materials due to export restrictions.

Yes, luxury isn’t primarily about functionality, but achieving extre performance even with showy materials isn’t that simple.

For example, a certain special textile, when woven into clothing, appears extrely exquisite. It easily handles various details very well, looking very high-class. Yet, it has a special trait, easy to rip apart.

Clothing made from this textile is quite popular abroad, particularly among users from well-established developed countries. Luxury brands naturally chase after such ornantal materials.

Unfortunately, the fibers used in this textile can also be applied in so very sensitive industrial fields, so they’re directly listed under export control.

Only a tiny amount is allowed for clothing design each year, but there are truly many wealthy individuals in vintage developed countries, so even luxury brands find it insufficient. To expand the market, they can only mass-produce with second-best exportable materials...

The current situation is roughly like this. The biggest benefit of traveling abroad now is probably just witnessing different customs. If focusing on overseas purchasing specifically...

Let’s put it this way, countless personal shoppers have started collaborating with so foreigners dostically to help bring products from dostic to overseas markets.

Various shopping platforms targeting mainly dostic consurs are either closing down or hanging by a thread, which sufficiently indicates that dostic demand for overseas products is genuinely diminishing year by year.

There are, of course, still people who believe foreign products are of better quality. But statistical data show this group is rapidly shrinking.

Certainly, this is also normal.

Ever since Xilin has been filled with robots all over the place, cars of various foreign brands and joint ventures have almost stopped selling in Xilin.

On one hand, so foreign and joint venture brands are still haggling over outdoor wireless charging protocol authorizations, and on the other hand, dostics brands are less restricted in material uses and most have adopted solid-state battery technology based on new elents.

In general, although Qiao Ze has been sowhat lax since proposing the Q theory, he has not continued to wholly invest himself in specific research as he used to.

Yet, the results of his past work have already started to show power and influence every aspect of the world.

Oh yes, besides these, there’s another significant event.

The world’s first ultra-small High Energy Particle Collider was also completed and deployed before the year-end and conducted its first internal test run a week before the Spring Festival. Although there was no official announcent, the internal test results were nearly perfect.

For this reason, Xilin University of Technology even sent invitations to several renowned scientists and officials residing at CERN, inviting them to Huaxia after the new year to witness the power of this ultra-small High Energy Particle Collider.

Of course, this mindset is understandable, emphasizing a sense of pride.

With sothing this good in one’s possession, what’s the point if people outside aren’t aware of it?

Besides showing off, it’s also a way to inform the others that since the LHC is under maintenance and upgrade, leaving a gap, so scientists might have nothing to do, and collaboration opportunities are available.

It must be admitted, Xilin University of Technology and even the whole of Huaxia still lack talent in high-energy physics.

To quickly fill this talent gap, it’s a perfect opportunity to deepen cooperation with those renowned physicists who’ve dedicated their lives to high-energy physics.

This collaboration is also necessary. Huaxia doesn’t require these experts to necessarily provide innovative suggestions, but their rich experiences are truly needed to update algorithms and relevant databases.

Even with such large scientific equipnt like High Energy Particle Colliders, no matter how much filtering of junk data is done, there’s just too much invalid data produced. Experienced individuals can quickly find valuable insights amidst chaotic data.

This capability is one that even Dou Dou needs training in.

Yes, recruiting these scientists to help Dou Dou fine-tune the paraters, the high-end scientific research work becos straightforward and unadorned.
