For the people of Xilin, if the sumr isn’t spent being roasted like a furnace, it certainly can’t be called sumr. Fortunately, the hottest stage has already passed. By mid-September, after a few autumn rains, the temperature has fallen.
Even if today is a sunny day with clear skies, it’s only just over 30 degrees, much more comfortable than last month’s frequent jumps to 40 degrees.
This might also be the reason why two heavyweight report sessions of the Xilin Mathematics Research Institute are scheduled for mid-September. Inviting a slew of bigwigs to Xilin during the hottest period truly worries them about getting heatstroke. It’s also not conducive to promoting various tourist attractions in Xilin.

Qiao Ze had already told Edward Witten and Peter Schultz that he would only attend the academic conference on the third day and would skip the report sessions of the first two days. However, Su Mucheng is very interested in such conferences and decided to go and listen.

If they wish to attend, they’re very welco, but for hotels, they can book them themselves.
Anyway, the banquet for these three days is arranged at the canteen in the Mathematics Research Institute building, so there’s no need for everyone to stay in the sa hotel.
Generally, there shouldn’t be a situation where hotels can’t be booked. Within a three-kiloter radius of the new Xilin University of Technology campus, there are at least a dozen hotels, ranging from five-star to economy, and they have all generally obtained foreign-related qualifications.
Of course, if one genuinely has difficulties, they can also contact the organizing committee to help book a hotel, but similarly, money needs to be transferred to the committee’s account first; in essence, everything is self-funded.
In Yu Chenggong’s view, this international convention is excellent; it saves money and effort.
So, during this ti window, many people choose to walk directly from the hotel to school, which is indeed the most economical and healthy way to travel. After all, it’s just one or two kiloters.
