Chapter 766: 752 Chapter 766: 752 At this mont, everything around them was quiet. It was sure to be the most vulnerable ti for alertness and the perfect ti for Red Demonic Spirit to make its appearance, a feat that would prove difficult for others, especially in such an unfamiliar place.

Red Demonic Spirit was sowhat reluctant to co out.

“Hey, don’t act like a shy maiden, co out now,” Yun’er was slightly annoyed. She wanted to assess their surroundings and find out where Can Mo and the others were. They were separated, with Yun’er and Rong’er isolated in a cell. They had to figure sothing out, see if there was a chance for them to escape. Waiting around was not an option.

“If I get caught, I’ll be turned into a half-demon, half-human monstrosity,” Red Demonic Spirit warned.

“You’re already barely distinguishable from a demon-monster, how much more of a transformation could there possibly be?”

“You would love nothing more than to have captured, wouldn’t you?”

“It seems to that you’re the only one who can escape from here. We can’t. The least you could do is to go out, gather so information and tell us about the security arrangents,” Yun’er reasoned.

Now, they could only rely on Red Demonic Spirit.

Red Demonic Spirit pouted.

“Are you seriously planning to turn into a woman in here? That brute isn’t coming tonight. I have no idea if sothing has happened, but I won’t just sit here and wait indefinitely. I have to make a move, instead of blindly waiting for that monkey to rescue . For all I know, he could have already found himself a new sweetheart…”

Yun’er thought that regardless of whether there was a way out of this place or not, she would first need to understand the situation. And for now, the only one who could help her was the Red Demonic Spirit.

Rong’er also chid in, ” Indeed, you’re the only one who can get out of this cell.”

Red Demonic Spirit retorted, “Aren’t you afraid that once I’m out, I might not co back?”

“If you’re that heartless, I have nothing to say,” Guo Yuyun responded.

“It’s sounds as if I owe you a lot, but I don’t.”

“I didn’t say you owe anything. It would just be heartless if you left us, abandoning us here, without a second thought.”

Red Demonic Spirit looked at Yun’er.

Yun’er had deliberately waited for this mont to send Red Demonic Spirit out. Indeed, he was the only one capable of leaving. In addition, this was the most relaxed mont for guard duty. She admonished, “Don’t just go out and watch people bathing, alright?”

Red Demonic Spirit smirked.

Rong’er pleaded, “Now you’re the only one who can help us. You need to figure out what’s going on around here. Only then can we decide on our next move.”

Red Demonic Spirit could only take a deep breath and lanted, “My life is so hard!”

“Quit complaining and hurry up. Ti waits for no one,” Yun’er insisted.

“Who knows, the brute could co and take you away to his room any mont now.”

Yun’er glared at Red Demonic Spirit, arguing, “Do you wish for to beco another one of his won?”

With a flash, Red Demonic Spirit darted off through the window.

Yun’er added, “Don’t just go out and watch people bathing!”

Red Demonic Spirit disappeared from their window view.

It felt like they were clinging onto a last glimr of hope. Yun’er didn’t know what the monkey was up to. Even if she knew, she couldn’t just sit and wait for doom. She had to co up with a plan by herself.

She wouldn’t sit idly awaiting death. Her fate was in her hands.

All was quiet. Yun’er said, “Stop talking, let’s get so rest. I’m utterly exhausted. We should save our energy for when we have to make a run for it.”

Rong’er was fascinated by Yun’er’s resilience. Despite their dire situation, she was able to sleep as though everything was normal. Her composure was truly admirable and unattainable for Rong’er.

On the other hand, the thought that she might have to live here forever made her feel sick. How co life had to be so hard? As all these thoughts raced through her mind, she rembered Yun’er’s ability to fall asleep so quickly. Luckily, that brute hadn’t co tonight.

She didn’t rember when she eventually fell asleep.

Outside the prison, Red Demonic Spirit patrolled the area, familiarizing herself with the terrain and guard arrangents. Thanks to the cover of the night, their vigilance was indeed not very high. Red Demonic Spirit, gifted with a certain amount of ability, managed to go unnoticed. She soon picked up so news, which seed rather strange – she wasn’t certain if it was true or false.

By the third watch, she returned to the dungeon and hastily woke up Yun’er and Rong’er.

In a half-asleep state, Rong’er asked, “Are they taking us away?” She thought Yun’er was about to be led away by the brute.

“There’s a huge problem!” Red Demonic Spirit blurted out in a fluster.

In a drowsy state, Yun’er opened her eyes and asked, “What’s the problem? Don’t tell you were actually spying on soone bathing.”

“You crazy girl, I disregarded my safety and spent several hours getting information and you still speak to like this,” Red Demonic Spirit retorted.

Rong’er relaxed upon realizing that the brute wasn’t coming to take Yun’er, and asked in a daze, “What’s happened?”

It was then that Red Demonic Spirit announced, “Before we were captured today, the New City Sect reportedly stord their stronghold.”

Yun’er was sowhat surprised, muttering, “What? The New City Sect stord their stronghold?”

“Yes, our comrades from the New City Sect, along with the Xuan Clan’s disciples, invaded their stronghold,” Red Demonic Spirit explained, short of breath.

Rong’er asked, “Why are they breaking in?”

“I heard they’ve co to rescue more than thirty female disciples of the Xuan Clan who were captured.”

Watching the Red Demonic Spirit and the New City Sect, Yun’er noted how they had divided into three groups after the monsters appeared. One group consisted of them, another of Ling Bo and company, and the last, led by Monkey.

“Apart from rescuing over thirty female disciples of the Xuan Clan”, the Red Demonic Spirit continued, “they also captured so of the Demon God’s people. I heard the Demon God’s wife was also taken.”

“I suspect it’s Monkey, only he would have the heart for such mischief. Ling Bo wouldn’t partake in such activities,” she said, referring to the wife of the Demon God, “The one nad Yue Xin, isn’t it?”

“I think it should be her. But quite a few others were seized too, I overheard they’re planning a prisoner exchange tomorrow.”

Rong’er, puzzled by this, asked, “Exchange for whom?”

“I’m not quite sure.”

Upon hearing this, Yun’er’s confusion cleared up rapidly, “Did you hear them ntion an exchange?”

“Yes.”

Rong’er murmured, “Are they exchanging us?”

Yun’er looked towards Rong’er, “Maybe Monkey knows we were captured.”

“How do you know the rescuer was our master?”

“I just guessed,” the day before, so disciples had reported a fierce battle on a mountain to the southeast. They spoke of dozens of captured female Xuan Clan disciples, an occurrence seemingly true. “Monkey really does have so spare ti, to charge into a dragon’s lair for a few dozen girls and even snatch the Demon God’s wife. Only Monkey could carry out such deeds. Ling Bo would never do such a thing,” Yun’er asserted.

Rong’er was skeptical but hopeful.

The Red Demonic Spirit said, “It’s possible. If Monkey really captured them, he must also know about our capture.”

Yun’er, filled with curiosity, asked, “Where’s the exchange supposed to happen?”

“I’m not really sure, I couldn’t catch that part,” replied the Red Demonic Spirit.

“It seems like Heaven isn’t ready for to beco a woman just yet,” Yun’er muttered, “I see, so that’s the reason. No wonder the Demon God hasn’t shown up.”

The Red Demonic Spirit looked at Yun’er and sneered, “So, you wish he would co, do you? If he cos back, I wonder how Monkey would react to you returning carrying his child.”

Yun’er glared at the Red Demonic Spirit.

“Hey, just joking.”

Rong’er smiled faintly. If things really were as speculated, then they were saved. She began to believe more and more in this notion, otherwise, why was Big Head not here?

“Monkey is truly capable, how did he even know to kidnap the Demon God’s wife?” the Red Demonic Spirit marveled in surprise.

“I guess Monkey just couldn’t resist snatching her away since she was too attractive,” Yun’er suggested.

“No way, Master would never do that.”

“You’re underestimating your Master, it’s exactly his kind of MO.”

Rong’er sighed, “It seems we really are in luck.”

“Don’t celebrate too soon, we will know the real situation first thing tomorrow morning,” Yun’er advised.

Rong’er was convinced that things were likely as hinted and that nothing would derail them.

“So we don’t need to think about escaping anymore, right?” the Red Demonic Spirit asked.

“What about Can Mo and the rest?” Yun’er asked.

“They’re in the neighboring rooms.”

“Were they tornted?”

“Not at all, they’re all completely peaceful, sleeping even better than you guys are,” the Red Demonic Spirit replied.

After hearing this, Yun’er let out a cold laugh.

Rong’er chuckled, “Master truly is amazing, rescuing people while managing to snatch a few extras. This trick truly works wonders.”

“Obviously those won must be curvaceous enough,” the Red Demonic Spirit speculated.

Rong’er laughed upon hearing this.

“He must have ant it when he said it. He even started asking a while ago if Yue Xin is pretty,” Yun’er snorted.

Rong’er knew Yun’er was joking, “Master must be a clairvoyant! It seems we’re about to be rescued.”

“I bet he must have been chard by so fox sprite among the Xuan Clan, otherwise, he would never have done such a thing.”

“Why do you speak of Master like that?”

Guo Yuyun rembered that Ye Chen didn’t bring many people, “He must have been severely water-deprived then, to charge into enemy territories with such a small force to rescue folk. He must have been swayed by so fox sprite from the Xuan clan, otherwise, he wouldn’t behave so foolishly.”
