Guo Yuqing paced anxiously through the courtyard, repeatedly asking Jiang Shizi, “Has he arrived?” It was at least the tenth ti she had asked.
Jiang Shizi shook her head, about to say no, when a maid ran in and announced, “He’s here.”

“You’re definitely hiding sothing,” Yang Tao’er persisted in her suspicion.

What could be the reason? Why hadn’t they told her? Where did Ye Chen’s confidence stem from? If there truly was a way to defeat Su Zhanze, why all the secrecy? Could there be so danger involved?
At that mont, the sun had just risen, and the fog in the woods hadn’t fully cleared, with small animals seizing the opportunity to forage for food.
