this morning, didn’t he?”
“He looked for you last night, but you didn’t co back all night. We were worried for you.”
“You misunderstood.”
“What did I misunderstand?”
“About Ye Chen and I.”
“Both of you were sleeping together, how is there any misunderstanding?”
“No, we didn’t sleep together last night.”

A maid cleaning the room laughed.

“I don’t believe a word you’re saying.”
“Whether you believe it or not is up to you. Anyway, I don’t need to explain, I still have to go and clarify things with my father.” Wei Yiling said as she stood up.

Ye Chen was without any clues, wandering the streets. He found an inn with a few pieces of silver. The recovery power of Wasteland City was indeed strong. What happened yesterday seed like it had never happened.
He was in an inn listening to a story when suddenly a group of people started discussing sothing.

Ye Chen nodded in agreent, things were moving fast.
“I wonder what has happened in Central Plains.” Soone voiced their conjecture.
Another person added, “It seems the Wastelands will be full of incidents soon.”
Soone nodded in agreent, “Yes, they’ve brought in Yang Jing and Jue Ming in one fell swoop. Shen Tian and Shen Li are now their subordinates. This cannot be an ordinary person; I fear their intentions are not good.”
“So do we know where this person ca from?” Ye Chen asked curiously.
“They have just entered the Wastelands. We had never heard of this person in the Wastelands before.”
“Do we know what their purpose is?”
A person answered, “They took in Jue Ming and Yang Jing all at once, declaring that anyone who doesn’t obey will be killed. Think about it and you’ll figure out what they’re planning.”
“It seems like they want to unify the Wastelands.” Soone answered.
How could such a big event happen in the Wastelands overnight and he knew nothing about it?
“Does anyone know where Shen Tian and Shen Li went?” Ye Chen asked curiously again.
