Chapter 708: Three Soaring Dragons, the Ascension of a Law Emperor!
“A Law Overlord!” Xia Fei had been concentrating on cultivation, but he could no longer ignore this new arrival as he felt all the muscles in his body tense up! His brows furrowed deeply!

The Bloodswallow Crystal made a sudden and sharp burst under Xia Fei’s urging, and the peaceful water surface whipped up into waves!
This destructive power within that was being very finely controlled into a trickle, peaceful and calm, got stirred into a frenzy by Xia Fei! It was more than a thousand or even ten thousand tis more intense than a turbulent wave on the Qiantang river[1]!
Xia Fei had made a desperate decision there and then: Either he attained Emperor-hood imdiately or went mad trying!

Even Furball felt this astounding burst of madness. He stood up straight and looked at his master with concerned-filled eyes.
Forced promotion was extrely dangerous, and having his brain region sundered would be the best outco from it!
However, Xia Fei still decisively threw caution to the wind!

The originally scarlet Bloodswallow Gem dulled instantly, as all the energy contained in it was directly absorbed by Xia Fei’s body. Once inside, the energy unleashed everything it had against the barrier in his brain region!
It was like a jolt of electricity, and Xia Fei endured the massive pressure—an unprecedented pressure!
Forget how he himself was feeling, even the old demon lord could feel an oppressive force exert on his chest, which left him breathless!
Throughout this old demon’s long life, he had seen all kinds of warriors who were willing to put all their eggs in one basket just to gain greater strength, but he had not heard of any who would willingly resort to such desperate asures like Xia Fei!

“So you’ve been hiding in the Exiled Grounds. This planet has a pretty good environnt. It will be a bit of a waste for it to beco your grave,” Ulcen Ward mumbled, almost to himself.

However, just as he said this, he sensed a powerful burst of energy fluctuation about a dozen or so kiloters away!
Gigantic dragons in red, white, and blue ascended into the sky! They intertwined with one another as they flew in the air! A bountiful explosion of light shone across the land!
“Three soaring dragons, the ascension of a Law Emperor!” Ulcen Ward was stunned. Xia Fei had only been a level 7 Law Sovereign the last they t, yet he had managed to cross the threshold of Law Emperor that many Law Adepts struggled with in the span of one month! Just what kind of human was he? How could he be promoted so quickly?! The word astonishnt could not even describe what Ulcen Ward was feeling right now!
The birth of a powerhouse created divine phenona!
This was a steadfast rule in the Law Realm, and now that he had seen three dragons rise, that was without a doubt the symbolic representation of soone breaking the Law Emperor threshold!
Xia Fei was the only one on this planet, so he could be the only person who had successfully made this breakthrough!
The master with the Law of ntal Pursuit had been unable to pinpoint Xia Fei’s coordinates accurately, so Ulcen was still several dozens of kiloters away from where Xia Fei was situated, but that was already an amazing feat in itself. It must be known that this master had managed to do so with just a personal belonging of Xia Fei’s, forcibly uncovering where the young man was hiding just by detecting the mind signature left on the said item!
There was plenty of furniture and other items in the Yu family that Xia Fei had used before, so it was not difficult to find one such item. Mingxin similarly had a tea set that Xia Fei had used before, but it was too bad that the Law Enforcent Board wasted quite a lot of ti going through all the rules and regulations. Mingxin and the others were still late by that one step, allowing Ulcen Ward to reach Xia Fei before them.

Ulcen did not dare to dawdle. He quickly sped over to the valley where Xia Fei had stationed himself for cultivation!
In the eyes of a Law Overlord, the Law Emperor cultivation that Xia Fei had was nothing scary, but it was his Skywing bloodline that was truly frightening! Every second he stayed alive made him a threat to the Moonward Clan!
Far away, Ulcen Ward saw a spatial channel opening. It seed that Xia Fei was trying to use a spatial compass to leave from this place.
“Trying to escape? Not so easy!” Ulcen Ward reached out with one hand and grabbed, extending out his imnse and oppressive law force out into the distance! That shimring spatial channel shrank abruptly, just like a tomato being squashed, shattering as a result of his squeezing!
To be able to shatter a spatial channel just by grabbing, how great of a power did he command?!
Ulcen Ward sure lived up to his reputation as a war god. His combat strength was impressive and unmatched!
*Crash*
The spatial channel was forcibly shut! An explosion of dust and dirt appeared in the valley, as if a sandstorm had been whipped up! This was the chain reaction that would ensue after the usage of a Spatial Compaction technique!
The narrow valley crumbled. Rubble flew everywhere as fragnted rocks ca from above!
Ulcen Ward stopped sowhere less than a hundred ter away from Xia Fei, observing the scene with his cold and emotionless eyes. All he saw was Xia Fei standing atop a boulder all by himself, his two eyes narrowed, the Holy Beast Shatterstar perched on his shoulder.
As the dust gradually settled, Ulcen could finally make out Xia Fei’s face.
He looked the sa as before; his aura was the only thing different about him!
He had experienced a qualitative leap from his ascension to Law Emperor. He was like a powerhouse who radiated confidence and ease all over!
‘Sure enough, Xia Fei has already been promoted to a Law Emperor just when I arrived! His combat strength should be much more powerful than before, too, I’ll bet,’ Ulcen Ward thought to himself.
He was a little surprised to find that Xia Fei had no intention of fleeing, asking in a deep voice, “Are you not going to run?”
Xia Fei chuckled. “You’re a Law Overlord. Since you have the ans to track down even in the Exiled Grounds, where else can I run off to? The spatial channel was rely to first expend so of your energy, old man.”
Ulcen Ward secretly clenched his fist. He had been afraid that Xia Fei would run off just now, which was why he had used his Spatial Compaction technique to forcibly seal the spatial channel. He used up quite a bit of law force in doing so, and his palm was a little sore from the exertion.
“You’re still as calculative and scheming as ever.” Ulcen Ward laughed as he stared down at Xia Fei.
Xia Fei was unperturbed. “You’re still as strong as you were back on Snake Isle, old man. The might of a Law Overlord isn’t just lip service, I see.”
Ulcen Ward was slightly pleased, gazing at Xia Fei intensely. “It’s good that you know. Now, you can just prepare to die!”
Xia Fei sighed, seemingly having submitted to his fate.
“Old man, you’re a Law Overlord, and dying by your hands will be my honor, but you ought to tell who I’m going to die to, right? I won’t be able to rest in peace if a distinguished Law Overlord like yourself remains incognito going up against an insignificant person like myself.”
Ulcen Ward froze. He did not care about his Law Overlord status, but he had suddenly recalled the mysterious and disruptive law power that Xia Fei possessed, able to subvert other’s law powers. If he could get Xia Fei to tell him the truth behind it before he died, it would be of great help to the Moonward Clan, and he could even curry favor with the old monsters in the God Territory, maybe even making up for his mistake.
With this thought in mind, Ulcen returned to a neutral stance. He displayed the unfathomable tolerance of a superior as he mused. “Actually, I don’t have any grudge toward you. If you wish to find fault, bla it on your bad luck, and your penchant to head wherever there’s trouble.”
Xia Fei pursed his lips. He did not like hearing this, but it was true. His entire life, he had always been bouncing from one trouble to another.
“I have decided to leave a way out for you!” Ulcen Ward’s attitude suddenly turned from warm to unfriendly as he threatened Xia Fei. “In exchange, you must tell how you managed to disrupt your opponent’s law powers, or else even a god won’t be able to save you!”
Xia Fei paused for several seconds before he smiled. “It’s a bit hard for to answer if you’re asking this question. Back when I was just beginning to learn the Law of Space, I noticed my ntal energy swimming curiously in a portion of my law pattern. I followed it and discovered that the Law of Space is actually split between yin and yang.
“And so I began cultivating it backward...”
Xia Fei was a master storyteller. Ulcen Ward originally did not believe a word he said, but Xia Fei had based everything on sound logic that it did not seem like he was simply making things up as he went.
Cultivating the pattern backward? Not only did Ulcen Ward not think of doing that, such a thought had not crossed the mind of anyone in the entire Law Realm!
Ulcen Ward was montarily captivated by Xia Fei’s lie, as he began to ponder over what the young man was saying.
All of a sudden!
The compass on Ulcen Ward’s wrist began to vibrate slightly, which ant that he was receiving a transmission. It was from one of the vice presidents of the Law Enforcent Board, Sail Ward. This signaled that they had already discovered Xia Fei’s coordinates.
‘There’s no ti left! I must act now,’ Ulcen Ward said to himself.
Sail Ward was Ulcen Ward’s trusted aide. The forr would imdiately send a ssage to notify the latter of any actions being taken, giving him enough ti to do what needed to be done. Ulcen Ward figured that, given his level 2 Law Overlord cultivation, killing off Xia Fei should be as simple as swatting a fly, which was why he boldly listened to Xia Fei’s story the last few minutes.
However, once this transmission was received, Ulcen Ward must make his move. The nine presidents of the Law Enforcent Board, as well as the weirdo Xia Zonghai, were going to arrive at any mont! That would be ten Great Law Emperors, taking five minutes to reach this location at most.
No matter how confident Ulcen Ward was, he would not dare to challenge ten Great Law Emperors!
His gaze turned slightly cold. This was an extrely minute change in his expression, but it did not escape Xia Fei’s keen eyes! Killing intent! Xia Fei sensed Ulcen Ward’s killing intent!
“FURBALL, DO IT!”

‘Hmm?!’ Ulcen was slightly surprised. He saw that Furball was several sizes smaller than before but had not considered him to be a threat. After all, a still young Holy Beast would hardly pose a threat to a Law Overlord.
However, what he was unaware of was the fact that the Furball of today was no longer the sa one before, for he had already gotten promoted! He now wielded a superspeed which was not much slower than Xia Fei’s own!
*Whoosh*
In a split second, Ulcen Ward turned his body and evaded Furball’s attack, rather shocked by the speed the Holy Beast Shatterstar had just demonstrated!
Leaning his body forward, Ulcen Ward imdiately went pouncing on Xia Fei after dodging Furball!
His left and right hands grabbed the air, and the space around Xia Fei began to compress!
The major clans in the Law Realm all had avenues of laws that they were specialized and excelled at. The Yu family excelled in spatial tears and fissures, while the Moonward Clan were known for both their Spatial Compaction and Matter Reconstruction!
*Grundle*
Seeing that Ulcen Ward was already right in front of him, Peacock Blue finally burst out from the ground!
It had been hiding underground for a very long ti, waiting for this attack!
“Just what is this?!” Ulcen Ward was startled.
The superspeed that the Holy Beast Shatterstar gained was one thing, but when did even Peacock Blue turn into such a ferocious organism? Ulcen Ward would not have imagined sothing like this in a million years!
The corners of his mouth twisted into a smirk. Ulcen Ward flicked his right hand lightly, and a huge gash appeared on Peacock Blue’s oversized body.
‘I failed!’ Xia Fei’s entire body shuddered. His long planned offense on Ulcen Ward had been so casually mitigated by him! How could he not be disconcerted by this!
At the very mont, they were still a full five minutes away from the Law Enforcent Board and Xia Zonghai’s arrival!
