Lin Shen watched the Asura Ghost baby eat the eggshell fragnts one by one, with grace and composure.
For so of the larger fragnts that the baby couldn't eat in one bite, it actually used the mini knife in the other hand to cut them into pieces just the right size to fit into its little mouth before using the fork to bring them to its mouth.
As the eggshell fragnts were steadily consud, the Asura Ghost baby's body started to grow.
After eating all of the shell pieces, the baby had grown to the size of a three or four-year-old child, and its body was gradually enveloped in a black substance that seeped from within, forming a black carapace.
"What are you waiting for?" asked the Asura Ghost baby after it had finished eating and stood up, the knife and fork in its hands turning into particles that rged into its body and disappeared as it looked up at Lin Shen.
Already sowhat dazed, Lin Shen was taken aback by the Asura Ghost baby's words and gaped with astonishnt, struggling to collect his thoughts.
"This guy can talk?" Lin Shen stared dumbfounded at the Asura Ghost baby.
Lin Shen had other flesh-and-blood pets, but one that could speak human language like the Asura Ghost baby was truly a first.
Xiaoye and Xiaona, though they appeared to be human as well, flesh and blood, didn't seem to be able to speak.
The Asura Ghost that was swallowed by the Death Powder similarly couldn't speak, so why could his baby actually speak human language, and moreover, speak from birth? This wasn't very scientific.
