"I need you to cooperate with on an experint," Lou Ran explained.
"An experint?" Lin Shen was sowhat surprised.
"Yes, an experint. If your physical strength is truly as Feite described, then completing this experint should pose no risk, provided that you really are an Ascender, yet capable of reaching the standard of a Nirvana Being," Lou Ran said, looking at Lin Shen.
"Can you elaborate, what exactly is this experint?" Lin Shen was reluctant to be a guinea pig, but it seed he had no other choice at the mont.
Lou Ran detailed the experint she wanted to perform, including its process and purpose, to Lin Shen.
Lou Ran had extracted a substance from a Base Mutation plant which could enhance the ntal power of Ascended Creatures, but it had intense side effects.
Being ntally strong enough reduces the chances of becoming non-human during Nirvana, a most useful effect.
However, because of the severe side effects, the bodies of Ascenders found it very difficult to endure, thus this extract had always been problematic for use in Ascenders' Nirvana.
Lou Ran had already conducted nurous experints; Nirvana Beings could withstand the side effects, but the boost in ntal power was quite limited. Furthermore, thus far, no thod had been found to eliminate the side effects.
After discovering Lin Shen's condition, Lou Ran suddenly had an idea. She wanted to use Lin Shen for a complete experint to confirm whether this extract could genuinely enhance an Ascender's ntal power.
After all, in previous experints using Ascended Creatures, those test subjects all died, but before their death, there was indeed a significant increase in the fluctuations of their ntal power.
However, when the experint was conducted using Nirvana Creatures, there wasn't a significant enhancent in ntal power, so Lou Ran needed to verify this once more.
After Lin Shen inquired in detail about what exactly the side effects were, he agreed directly to Lou Ran's condition, willing to be her lab rat in exchange for her help.
The side effects of this extract were toxic, damaging the body and potentially leading to organ failure if the body's strength was insufficient.
Since many trials had already been done, it was known that if the body's strength reached the Nirvana Level, the toxin would cause only minor damage to the body, not fatal, and the affected body could be treated afterwards.
Lin Shen's physical strength should be able to withstand it, and he wasn't afraid of toxins, which is why he agreed so readily to Lou Ran.
Lou Ran didn't waste words, taking Lin Shen straight to the experint pod, isolating him inside before injecting him with the extract.
As the extract was injected into his vein, Lin Shen felt a slight chill in his blood vessels, followed by a sharp tug in his brain.
It was as if his brain had been pricked by a needle, his mind becoming clearer than ever before.
Like a drunk person startled awake, his thinking and mory suddenly beca much more lucid.
Outside, watching the monitors, Lou Ran saw an obvious increase in the activity of Lin Shen's brain cells on the display. His body showed no apparent side effects, prompting a trace of joy to appear in her eyes.
"Teacher, you've succeeded," Di Esi, who had been watching, said with delight after looking at the data on the monitor.
Ti had passed the critical point for the effectiveness of the extract, and Lin Shen showed no sign of an adverse reaction, while his brain activity remained at a very high level.
However, Lou Ran shook her head and said, "It can't be considered a success. We've simply confird that the extract can indeed enhance an Ascender's ntal strength. But Lin Shen's body is too unique to serve as a reference. We can't expect other Ascenders to have the sa physical strength as Lin Shen."
Lou Ran then conducted so simple experints on Lin Shen, such as mory tests, and found that his mory hadn't significantly improved.
Based on her calculations, the level of ntal strength enhancent should have substantially increased Lin Shen's mory and other capabilities. Even if he couldn't achieve photographic mory, he should have far exceeded an average person.
But Lin Shen's mory was still at a normal level and had not undergone significant change, which made Lou Ran doubt whether the extract had truly been effective.
Although Lou Ran said that his mory had not improved and was still at the level of an average person, Lin Shen felt that his mory had gotten stronger than before. He could now rember a string of about ten digits after hearing them just once.

Are you sure you want to try?" Lou Ran asked Lin Shen.
"Let's try it. I have no other path to take," Lin Shen nodded and responded.
"Alright, then let's begin," Lou Ran ignited a small red fla between her fingers, then placed it on Lin Shen's body.
Upon contact with Lin Shen's carapace, the fla burned fiercely as if it had found gasoline, engulfing his entire body in a blaze.
As ti ticked away, Lin Shen felt warmth in his body but completely failed to sense any disturbance in the Power of Nirvana within him.
More than an hour later, the flas on Lin Shen's body extinguished, yet he had not entered a Nirvana state.
"It seems your body is even tougher than I thought. We need to increase the Creation lting Furnace Fire," Lou Ran said as she called forth a blazing fire in her hand and pressed it against Lin Shen.
The red inferno enveloped Lin Shen, and this ti he felt as though he was imrsed in scalding hot water, feeling a slight effect.
But as ti slowly passed, Lin Shen adapted to the heat, and his body remained unchanged.
Lou Ran observed Lin Shen's condition, her brow furrowing slightly as she intensified the Creation lting Furnace Fire once again.
"Bear with it; this ti it should take effect," Lou Ran continuously channeled the Creation lting Furnace Fire into Lin Shen's body, intent on refining it.
But no matter how the Creation lting Furnace Fire attempted to refine him, Lin Shen's body showed no change.
Feeling that sothing was amiss, Lou Ran paused and conducted a test with an instrunt. She discovered that not only had Lin Shen's body not been refined, its strength seed to have increased further, leaving Lou Ran stunned.
