"Isn't being precious a good thing? And it's just borrowing secret techniques after all, not like I can directly master them, so I don't consider them that valuable," Lin Shen said.
"This card is much more precious than you imagine. Not to ntion how valuable those secret techniques are—you haven't seen them, so you can't appreciate their worth. But on the second level, there are many Nirvana Level insights, and even Immortal Level cultivation insights, which you won't find elsewhere. They're of great help to cultivation. This includes a lot of information about the Base Mutation sites, which are extrely important resources for Ascenders. With just this information and without the No. 7 Battle Suit, it wouldn't be much use, but with the No. 7 Battle Suit and this information, it ans that almost all the Base Mutation sites under the Celestial Race's control can be used by you. There are many other benefits that even I don't fully know, since my card only ranks in the third tier and can't access the second level,"
After a pause, Tian Xun continued, "Being precious can be good for you, but being too precious isn't entirely a good thing. There are so many big shots in the Celestial Race, but their descendants don't get this kind of treatnt. You, a mber of Other Races who just joined the Celestial Race, were appointed head of the Celestial Masters' Institution right away, which was already quite outrageous and caused envy. Now with this kind of treatnt, I'm afraid you'll beco a target of public criticism."
"I've thought about this issue too. But even without these things, being the dean of the Celestial Masters' Institution has already made a target," Lin Shen said with a wry smile.
Tian Xun nodded, "Indeed, you've brought back so many resources for the Heavenly Emperor this ti, it's hard to keep that hidden from others. You're already a target. You'll need to be careful. It's safer on Sky Pinnacle Star, but if you leave and go to other planets, you should have a few Nirvana Level individuals by your side; otherwise, it's easy to run into trouble."
"Before my Nirvana, other than coming here, I don't plan to leave Sky Pinnacle Star," Lin Shen stated.
"How about this? Once things settle down after so ti, I'll have Ye Kong and the others follow you. With the four of them tead up, unless a top-tier Nirvana Being intervenes, they shouldn't be able to give you trouble," Tian Xun suggested, still sowhat worried.
"Are they reliable?" Lin Shen worried that Ye Kong and the others might pose a problem.
"Don't worry, I have ways to control them. They wouldn't dare double-cross ," Tian Xun reassured, and after another pause, asked, "The racial rankings battle is about to start. Are you participating?"
"It wouldn't be of much use for to participate, as I can't charge up the rankings," Lin Shen shook his head.
"The ranking list only goes up to one hundred million. Races that can make it onto the rankings list must have several top-tier Nirvana Beings at least. With your current strength, if you're aiming for the rankings, indeed, you don't stand much chance." Tian Xun then shifted tone, "However, going there to observe could be helpful for your combat abilities and knowledge. The universe's races are countless, and each has its own characteristics. A myriad of powers and skills erge incessantly. Every ten years, various new abilities and skills appear; it's a good opportunity for training."
"Can you spectate the rankings battle?" Lin Shen asked thoughtfully.
"The entire universe can watch. However, watching is different from actual combat. With your abilities, just participating in the knockout round should be more than enough to ensure your safety, without any great risk. You can withdraw when it's ti for the rankings battle," Tian Xun still hoped that Lin Shen would consider participating.
"I'll think about it," Lin Shen replied, not wanting to get involved in sothing that brought no benefits.
"Sure, it's not a major issue. Just decide for yourself," Tian Xun said with shifting beautiful eyes, blinking as she asked, "Are you returning tonight?"
"I'm practically ho. Where else would I go?" Lin Shen said as he wrapped his arm around Tian Xun's waist, intending to do sothing to make the heart race, when the communicator suddenly rang.
"A ssage from Wei?" Lin Shen glanced at it and discovered it was indeed a ssage from Wei Wufu.
Although Wei Wufu had a communicator, he usually never sent Lin Shen ssages.
"Isn't Wei on Giant Ring Star?" Lin Shen asked Tian Xun with a puzzled look.
"He went back to the Human's ho planet before; it's been over a month now, and he hasn't returned," Tian Xun pondered for a mont before speaking.
"Why didn't he tell when he returned to our ho planet?" Lin Shen quickly opened the ssage and saw that it was very brief, just two words: "Return imdiately."
"What happened?" Lin Shen felt a shock in his heart. If it wasn't sothing major, Wei wouldn't have sent such a ssage, and he swiftly replied.
"We'll talk upon your return," Wei's ssages were clearly more fluent than his speech.
"Darling, it seems like sothing's happened, I need to go back," Lin Shen said, unsure of the specifics, but knowing he had to return to find out.
"Go and take care of your business. If you need anything, contact anyti," Tian Xun spoke softly.
Fearing that sothing significant had occurred, Lin Shen rushed back to the ho planet.
The last ti he left his ho planet, he was in a sorry state of flight; this ti, his return required no such caution.
With his current strength, he could obliterate the Wan Family; even if the Interstellar Wan Family dispatched a large number of Ascenders back, Lin Shen wouldn't be threatened.
"It's ti to settle accounts with the Wan Family," Lin Shen murmured to himself, deciding not to take Big Sister with him.
If he went after the Wan Family, Big Sister might beco a target of theirs if she accompanied him.
Upon Lin Shen's arrival back on the ho planet, Hai Daxiu and Instructor Mu were already waiting for him at the teleportation device.
"Why are you back?" Instructor Mu asked with so concern.
Since Lin Shen left through Hai Daxiu's connections, the return had to follow the sa route, and Hai Mansion would have been inford by Hai Daxiu.
"There's so trouble on Wei's end; he asked to return. Is there anything happening in Tiancheng?" Lin Shen inquired.
"I haven't heard of any issues in Tiancheng. Just be careful not to let the Wan Family know you're back. Don't return to Dark Bird Base for now; it's certainly watched by the Wan Family's spies. We've made arrangents for your return here; no one knows you're back. But you can't stay too long; it won't stay a secret forever," Instructor Mu, unaware of Lin Shen's standing within the Celestial Race or his current level, advised.
With only a few months since his departure, no one would expect Lin Shen to have already gained enough power to contend with the Wan Family.
"Instructor Mu, thanks for your concern. I'm going to Tiancheng to see what's going on with Wei. We'll talk more later," Lin Shen said as he took out two items, handing one to Instructor Mu and one to Hai Daxiu, "Alien World specialties, see if they're useful. I must go now."
Lin Shen didn't give them a chance to refuse and hurriedly left Sea Corn Base toward Tiancheng.
"The kid is certainly thoughtful," Instructor Mu said as he opened the box and was montarily stunned.
