That Life Base seed to be a complete spine, dark red and black in color, dragon-like, tapering to a needle-like tip, with a skull connected at the base.
Ye Ya's fingers pierced the skull, gripping the strangely spiky Life Base, and the black and red fla rose and burned atop it, presenting a sight both eerie and terrifying.
Lin Shen couldn't help but be stunned; he had thought that Ye Ya's Life Base was the tombstone, only now he realized that wasn't the case.
Holding the Evil Ghost Blade Life Base, Ye Ya charged towards Kong Chuan in a forward-leaning, ominous manner. Just as he reached right before Kong Chuan, he suddenly leapt high into the sky.
The blood-red flas behind him erupted like a volcano, surging upwards with him toward the heavens.
High above, with blade in hand, Ye Ya slashed downward from his elevated position, and the black and red light of the blade instantaneously tore through the void, resembling a blood-red dragon flashing across the sky and earth, heading towards Kong Chuan to engulf him.
The terrifying surge of strength pushed everything that had been motionless within the blue fire hell aside, splitting the waves and breaking the mountains with an unmatched ferocity.
Facing such an oppressive force, Kong Chuan still held his head high with pride, staring at the sky, advancing rather than retreating, with the Peacock Divine Brilliance converging on his hands, as if all the blue suns in the sky were rging into one.
As his hands ca together in an instant, a dazzling blue halo shot upward against the heavens, transforming into a blue Peacock that soared into the sky, clashing with the blood-red dragon.

Lin Shen, who had already fled hundreds of miles away, saw the explosion of red and blue light. The terrifying "Light Explosion" stung his eyes so much he couldn't keep them open.
A wave of air, like a landslide and tsunami, pushed Lin Shen's body an unknown distance, slamming him into a floating island. The impact set the island quivering and created a huge crater, where his body finally stopped.
"Too strong!" Lin Shen stood up from the deep pit, soared into the sky again, and stared in the direction of the battle. He wanted to know the outco of that strike, who had won.
After the "Light Explosion," everything nearby had been destroyed, countless fragnts of rock swirled through the air, flas trailing chaotically behind them.
When Lin Shen could finally see clearly, he saw Kong Chuan and Ye Ya confronting each other across the void.
Kong Chuan still had blue light rising from his body, while that strange black and red fla on Ye Ya flickered like bonfire.
"Who won?" Lin Shen couldn't tell, for a mont, who had the upper hand from that strike.
"Puh!" A piece of Ye Ya's blood-stained "Black Feather Armor" on his face shattered, revealing half of his eerie face as he spat out fresh blood.
"Kong Chuan won!" Lin Shen's heart leapt for joy, but then he suddenly saw the feathers on Kong Chuan's body split apart. His "Life Base Blue Peacock" detatched from his body, turning into a battered peacock with broken feathers and a severed tail.
Cracks also appeared in the "Carapace" on Kong Chuan's body, and the blue light on him started to dim.
Kong Chuan's adam's apple moved as he forcefully swallowed a mouthful of fresh blood. He still stood tall like a mountain, but anyone could tell that he was at the end of his rope. The strike just now had seriously wounded him.
"Kong Chuan is very strong... but it's a pity he t Ye Ya..." Chi 96 remarked regretfully.
