In that stone cave, there was a blue fla erupting from the ground, akin to a blue pillar of fire, reaching three to four ters in height.

Next to the blue column of fla stood a large bull, its entire body a fiery red.

It resembled the Vajra Bull but was completely red as if afla. At the mont, the red Diamond Bull was lifting its forelimbs and placing them on a tal platform.

On the tal platform was a piece of tal heated to redness; with each rhythmic lift and press of the bull's forelimbs, it produced the rhythmic hamring sound Lin Shen had heard.

With every strike of the bull's hooves, the shape of the heated tal gradually changed.

As the temperature of the tal decreased, the red Diamond Bull pushed it with its hooves back into the adjacent blue fla, where it hung within the pillar of fire.

After forging in the fla for a while, the tal block within the blue column turned golden red. The red Diamond Bull then pushed it back onto the platform and lifted its hooves, rhythmically striking the tal block once again.

"A bull... forging tal..." Lin Shen watched, a bit stunned, never having imagined such a scene.

If it were the Minotaur from the Ultra-Burn Tribe forging, Lin Shen could accept that without surprise.

But the fact that Ascended Creatures would also engage in talworking was truly astonishing.

After watching for a while, Lin Shen was even more amazed to discover that the red Diamond Bull not only knew how to forge but also how to fold the tal during the forging process.

Once the tal block was shaped a certain way through the strikes, the red Diamond Bull stopped and pushed it to the side.

There, neatly stacked, were many tal blocks of the sa size. The red Diamond Bull pressed several blocks together and then thrust them into the blue fla.

Once the stacked blocks were heated to red-hot, the red Diamond Bull pushed them back onto the work platform and continued the rhythmic striking.

"This is miraculous!" Listening to the clinking sounds, Lin Shen felt as if his entire worldview had been overturned.

Lin Shen also realized that what the red Diamond Bull was forging were those special tal fragnts.

"The Diamond Bull brings tal fragnts here to forge, but what exactly is it trying to create? Weapons? They have Diamond Horn Blades, so why forge weapons? Besides weapons, what else can they make? Armor?" Lin Shen thought this was a bit far-fetched.

After watching the Diamond Bull forge for most of the night, Lin Shen still couldn't figure out what it was trying to make.

It seed to repeatedly fold the material, as if only aiming to obtain better and purer material, and not actually crafting any object.

Lin Shen checked the ti and felt that there wasn't much ti left before dawn, so he decided to leave. Otherwise, once daylight ca and the Golden Bulls regained their mobility, escaping would beco much more difficult.

He didn't plan on a killing spree; after all, he held the Golden Star in his own hands. He could co back to kill these mutated Diamond Bulls anyti. There was no need to kill them now.

Just as he was about to leave, he heard strange noises again and took another look around the cave.

The cave had many passageways that seed to go in all directions. The strange noise seed to be coming from one of those passageways.

Lin Shen listened closely and felt that the sound was very close, likely coming in his direction.

Sure enough, after a short while, he saw a tallic ox cart erge from one of the passageways below.

Pulling the tallic ox cart was a Golden Diamond Bull that hadn't lost its ability to move.

```
"Holy cow, these tal Oxen can actually make ox carts?" Lin Shen was even more astonished.
The ox cart stopped next to the workbench, and the red tal Ox pushed the crafted tal block into the cart, and then the Golden Diamond Bull pulled the cart towards another passage.
Lin Shen saw that there were still quite a few tal blocks inside the ox cart.
This red tal Ox only put one block in, and there were so many more inside, which made Lin Shen suspect that there must be many more Vajra Bulls like this red one in the Vajra Bull lair, skilled in tal forging.
"This really is a strange place." Lin Shen didn't dare to stay here any longer and decided to leave the Vajra Bull lair first.
He followed the passage out of the lair, and just as he was about to exit, Lin Shen suddenly stopped, quickly pressed his body against the cave wall, and stealthily peeked outside.
In the cloak of night, a monstrous figure was ripping apart a Vajra Bull that hadn't managed to make it back into the cave before nightfall.
"What on earth is that thing?" Lin Shen squinted, trying to make out the details, but it was too dark outside to see clearly.
He could just about make out that it was a creature several tis larger than the Vajra Bull, with a body shape similar to a unicorn beetle.
The paralyzed Vajra Bull was dismbered and devoured by the creature; a single Vajra Bull was completely swallowed up within half an hour.
Originally, there were several Vajra Bulls outside that had not managed to return to the lair in ti, but now there was only one left uneaten.
As the sky gradually lightened, Lin Shen could see the creature's form more clearly.
It indeed resembled a unicorn beetle, with a golden carapace all over its body and a bifurcated horn on the front, but it also had wings on its back.
After eating one Vajra Bull, it then pounced on the remaining Vajra Bull, seemingly determined not to spare any of them.
The ground outside was littered with heaps of remnants and residue; presumably, the remains of the Vajra Bulls eaten by the Golden Unicorn Beetle.
Lin Shen watched for a while, then upon hearing the sound of hooves deep in the cave, he knew that the Vajra Bulls were regaining their ability to move. He no longer hesitated and flew straight out of the cave entrance.
He didn't approach the Golden Unicorn Beetle but flew in a different direction to avoid a conflict with it.
Lin Shen still didn't know what kind of abilities or level the Golden Unicorn Beetle had and didn't want to risk fighting it.
However, seeing it effortlessly dismber the Vajra Bulls with its serrated claws, it was clearly very powerful.
If it were just an Ascended Creature, Lin Shen wouldn't fear it, but if it turned out to be a Nirvana Creature, he might not be a match for it, so he didn't take the risk.
Besides, the Vajra Bulls had already regained their mobility, and Lin Shen expected they would soon be rushing out of the cave. Engaging with the Golden Unicorn Beetle now would likely result in being surrounded.
Lin Shen didn't want to provoke the Golden Unicorn Beetle, but the Golden Unicorn Beetle had set its sights on him instead.
The Golden Unicorn Beetle, which was in the midst of feeding, noticed Lin Shen flying out of the cave. Its blood-red eyes watched Lin Shen for a while, then it took to the wings and flew up.
It abandoned the unfinished Vajra Bull carcass and chased directly after Lin Shen, who was flying in the air.
"What's the deal with you? You leave the food that's right in front of you and instead co after —are you intent on courting death?" Seeing its flight speed, Lin Shen knew this creature probably wasn't a Nirvana Creature, which made him feel much more at ease.
