Chapter 39: Pet Capsule Accelerator

“Aliens also speak Mandarin?” Hearing the Angel speak, Lin Shen was montarily baffled.

Over two hundred years ago, when human technology was at its peak, no one had managed to break out of the solar system, let alone discover aliens.

Besides, how long has humanity existed? How long has Mandarin been around? Even if one started traveling at the speed of light from the day Mandarin was created, they probably wouldn’t have reached an alien planet by now, to say nothing of teaching Mandarin to aliens. What a joke.

But the Celestial’s Mandarin was really quite standard, at least Lin Shen felt he definitely couldn’t match it.

Watching the Jade Armor on his body disappear and revert to his original form, with a smile still on his face, Lin Shen couldn’t help but feel a bit awkward looking at the Celestial.

Wei Wufu wiped off the Base Mutation Fluid from his mouth and seed a bit embarrassed as he said, “You die, waste.”

Lin Shen understood Wei Wufu. What Wei Wufu ant was he thought the Celestial was dead, and the spilled Base Mutation Fluid on the ground was a waste.

But the Celestial didn’t understand Wei Wufu. The initially smiling face gradually turned cold as he stared at Wei Wufu and said, “You want dead. It looks like I was wrong to call you ‘friend’. Garbage like you doesn’t deserve to be my friend, so the only option left for you is to die.”

Lin Shen finally understood why Wei Wufu was socially anxious. With the way he spoke, it wasn’t just him who would feel anxious; others would too.

Wei Wufu obviously felt it was too troubleso to explain and simply chose not to.

“Pretend, you, weak, lay down,” Wei Wufu said.

The Celestial sohow understood it, and his expression grew colder, “You’re saying I’m pretending, I’m weak, and you want to lay down and die?”

“You, no strength,” Wei Wufu said again.

“Alright, alright, alright. A crippled Alloy human dare say I’m weak? Then I’ll show you whether I, Tian Xin, have strength or not.” The Celestial threw a punch directly at the seated Wei Wufu.

Lin Shen hesitated whether or not to help. The Celestial nad Tian Xin was far too powerful, two levels above him. He didn’t believe he could leap two levels to defeat Tian Xin.

Wei Wufu didn’t seem to have any intention of dodging. With one hand propping onto the ground and the other clenched into a fist, he t the oncoming punch.

As the two fists collided, to Lin Shen’s surprise, it seed to be an even match. The upper half of the seated Wei Wufu’s body leaned back against the giant python’s body, which didn’t seem to be a hard hit as he quickly sat upright again.

Tian Xin also retreated several steps, staggering and nearly falling to the ground.

Wei Wufu was still just at Alloy Level, one level below Tian Xin, yet this clash was evenly matched. Lin Shen realized that Tian Xin’s recent battle with the giant python had drained him too much. Now he was out of strength and possibly even injured, although it didn’t show on the surface.

“Stop pretending, lie down,” Wei Wufu said to Tian Xin.

Upon hearing this, Tian Xin forcibly swallowed the blood that had reached his mouth, stood his ground, and laughed in a fury, “Alright, alright, alright. Trash from a crippled Alloy rank dares to mock ? Today, I’ll show you just how easy it is to kill trash like you.”

With that, Tian Xin seemingly produced a gun from nowhere, and with the barrel pointed at Wei Wufu, he coldly said, “You uncivilized brute of a peasant, do you recognize what this is?”

“Celestials use guns too?” Lin Shen watched in surprise.

He had thought that Tian Xin’s words would be followed by sothing earth-shattering, but it turned out to be rely a revolver.

The power of a pistol, surely would not be enough to harm Wei Wufu, a mutated alloy Mutator like himself; Lin Shen was puzzled as to why he would take out a gun at this mont—could it be so kind of high-tech laser gun?

Lin Shen had initially thought that he would bring out so powerful Base Mutation pet.

“Pet Capsule Pistol!” Wei Wufu rarely spoke a complete sentence, his eyes taking on a more serious look.

“I didn’t expect you, a savage and uncivilized bumpkin, to have so insight to recognize the Pet Capsule Pistol,” Tian Xin said with slight surprise, but imdiately regained his arrogant deanor and held the gun, saying, “This is indeed a Pet Capsule Pistol, but not an ordinary one, it’s called the Angel Revolver. It accelerates the transformation speed of pets to 44, which ans it’s even faster than the Crystal Base Level speed, allowing the pet capsule to transform into a pet almost instantly after leaving the barrel. And it will reach the target at a speed of 44—do you understand what this ans?”

Without waiting for Wei Wufu to respond, Tian Xin added ominously, “And this Angel Revolver of mine, its internal compression space can hold seven pet capsules. Guess how many Crystal Base Level pet capsules I’ve loaded in it?”

Wei Wufu fell silent; of course, he knew what that ant.

The bullets fired from that Angel Revolver, he simply couldn’t evade; if he tried to block with his body, even if he used his arm to shield, he still couldn’t withstand Crystal Base pets hurtling towards him at a speed of 44.

As for how many Crystal Base pet capsules were inside the Angel Revolver, it truly no longer mattered—one was enough to end his life.

And there was no doubt about it; how could Celestials not have Crystal Base pets? They were naturally of the Crystal Base Level.

Lin Shen, on the other hand, was both shocked and delighted—he hadn’t expected there to be sothing like a Pet Capsule Pistol.

From Tian Xin’s description, the Pet Capsule Pistol was a device that accelerated the transformation of pets and gave them initial speed.

Being able to accelerate to 44, that thing was indeed terrifying—it was much faster than using keys to let the pet capsules transform into combat stance and almost impossible to interrupt.

However, Lin Shen still didn’t quite understand; it seed that using the Pet Capsule Pistol didn’t require keys to transform pets into their combat form, so what was the point of having keys?

But this was sothing Lin Shen was pleased to see—if that was the case, then all he needed to do was snatch the gun, and all the pets inside would be his, wouldn’t they?

“High-tech gadgets… I like…” Lin Shen, tapping into the power of Base Mutation, transford into his Steel Body.

Mysterious steel material flowed from his body, covering his exterior and forming a mirror-like armor, encasing his whole person within.

“Don’t shoot yet. Let’s talk. We can actually cooperate for a win-win situation; there’s no need to be enemies,” Lin Shen hurriedly walked out from behind the rocks, he had to get within seven steps of Tian Xin before he fired the pet capsules.

When Tian Xin saw soone else appear, he was startled at first, but when he realized the newcor was clad in a Steel Carapace, he was enraged with laughter: “What day is today that all kinds of trash dare to co out and disgust ? First, a crippled alloy, now so garbage steel. Cooperate with ? You barbarians from the savage society, scum and dregs, what gives you the right to cooperate with ? Do you really think that because I’m injured, I can’t kill you?”

“Don’t—go back,” Wei Wufu frowned upon seeing Lin Shen co out.

He knew that although Lin Shen was only Steel Level, if he really started fighting, even Alloy Level might not be his match.

But after all, there was a clear difference in their levels. It had been such tough work for the two of them against a mutated Alloy Creature, and this Tian Xin in front of them was much more difficult to handle than the mutated Alloy Creature.

Lin Shen had previously shown great speed, but compared to the 44 speed of the Pet Capsule Pistol, it was simply too slow.
