The Sea of Flas was a murky, dark red ocean that, at first glance, bore no distinct difference from the reddish-brown earth.
There were no tidal movents in the Sea of Flas, and it was quite difficult to discern it as a vast ocean unless stirred by living creatures.
Lin Shen, Ouyang Yudu, and Wei Wufu flew over the Sea of Flas, where the air was even more pungent, feeling as though it could nearly rot their lungs when inhaled.
Wei Wufu and Ouyang Yudu both coughed, but Lin Shen was faring much better; Evolution Theory had quickly allowed him to adapt to the environnt.
Wei Wufu and Ouyang Yudu had no choice but to use their carapaces, which filtered out most of the harmful gases to their bodies.
But this posed a troubleso issue, as maintaining the existence of the carapaces required energy consumption, and without Lin Shen's Super Base Pattern skills, they couldn't possibly sustain this state indefinitely.
"You shouldn't have co here. Flarela is not to be underestimated," said Ouyang Yudu.
"Didn't you co here as well?" Lin Shen retorted, surveying the sea around them.
"The situation of the Ouyang family is dire; I have to preserve the mining region here, or else the people of the Ouyang family might be reduced to joining the Pioneer Corps," said Ouyang Yudu, now having no reservations to speak of the current plight of the Ouyang Family.
"Doesn't the Ouyang family still have a Nirvana Being?" asked Lin Shen.
"If it were the Ouyang family just leaving the ho planet, a Nirvana Being could make all the clan mbers prosper. But now, having only one Nirvana Being doesn't solve any problems. The circumstances have changed, as have the enemies we face," Ouyang Yudu explained while scanning the surroundings with her umbrella: "Talking about this now is pointless.
The Di Man Tribe and we have entered the Sea of Flas from two directions. Our only chance is to find the Crimson Fla Starburst Dragon before Flarela finds us, kill it, and take its Life Base."
Ouyang Yudu was well aware of how slim these chances were.
Not to say that finding the Crimson Fla Starburst Dragon before Flarela would be difficult, but even if they could, killing it in the Sea of Flas was not an easy task.
The commotion from battle would undoubtedly draw Flarela and her group to them.
The Crimson Fla Starburst Dragon was a Tenth Turn mutated Ascension creature, and if not for the constraints of the environnt on Firce Fire Star, it would likely have achieved Nirvana long ago.
It is said that several Nirvana Beings once ventured deep into the Sea of Flas to seize its Life Base, yet in the end, none succeeded.
One important reason was that Nirvana Beings dared not fully exert their power in the Sea of Flas, but this also demonstrated just how formidable the Crimson Fla Starburst Dragon was.
"This Sea of Flas is vast, over ten tis larger than the Pacific Ocean on our ho planet; how are we supposed to find the Crimson Fla Starburst Dragon?" Lin Shen pondered aloud.

"No, if it's kept inside, my body will automatically absorb the life force around , and anyone close to would have their life force drained," Ouyang Yudu continued, "An open Jade Bone Demon Umbrella is just an umbrella, but a closed Jade Bone Demon Umbrella is a demon, one that sucks marrow and gnaws bones..."
The more Lin Shen listened, the more amazed he beca. The Jade Bone Demon Umbrella could not only absorb life force but could also directly extract the spirit from other Life Bases during combat.
Any Life Base or Spirit Base that ca into contact with the rged Jade Bone Demon Umbrella would have its spirit drained away, an ability that was simply monstrous.
While it is common for Life Bases to have the ability to absorb spirit, that ability is limited to dealing with Spirit Bases that have lost their masters and support; it doesn't work on Life Bases or Spirit Bases with a master.
Moreover, even if so powerful Spirit Bases lose their masters, ordinary Life Bases would struggle to extract the spirit within them. The master needs to first shatter those powerful Spirit Bases and then use their Life Base to absorb the spirit inside.
The Jade Bone Demon Umbrella could directly absorb the spirit within a Life Base through contact, which was undoubtedly an exceedingly overpowered ability.
"How many turns have you undergone?" Lin Shen suddenly asked Ouyang Yudu.
"Two turns," replied Ouyang Yudu.
"Your Jade Bone Demon Umbrella can directly absorb spirit and life force, and you're only two turns?" Lin Shen found it hard to believe.
If his Life Base had such ability, he reckoned he would have reached at least the fifth or sixth turn by now, not needing the Ascension Pool at all.
"Guess why I hold this umbrella every day?" Instead of answering Lin Shen's question, Ouyang Yudu asked in return.
Lin Shen imdiately understood that Ouyang Yudu had no intention of absorbing others' life force and spirit.
"Such a waste," Lin Shen said aloud, but deep down, he admired Ouyang Yudu a bit. To have such power and to refrain from misusing it showed a rare kind of temperant.
Perhaps heaven had granted him such an ability because he was such a person.
