As Sam's military advisor, my real mission in bringing the delegation here isn't to win, but to ensure Flarela loses."
"The machinations between these major clans are truly eye-opening." Lin Shen never imagined that what seed like a sure victory for the Di Man Tribe would have such twists. If Lin Zongzheng hadn't told him, who would have guessed?

"Then why not have fourth brother take my place?" Lin Shen pouted.
Lin Zongzheng laughed, "Although your fourth brother is handso, he doesn't have the stomach for living off others, sothing you certainly excel at."
"Third brother, are you complinting or slapping my face?" Lin Shen realized as Lin Zongzheng said all this that his brother had been watching over him in secret all along.
"Do you want to chat, or do you want to win? If it's the forr, I'll spend the rest of the ti chatting with you," Lin Zongzheng said.
"I'd rather win," Lin Shen quickly stopped himself. He just hadn't seen Lin Zongzheng for so long, he couldn't help but want to talk to him, even if it was just to bicker.
"With your abilities, defeating Flarela would normally be impossible, but luckily Sam has already done you a great favor," Lin Zongzheng said. "Currently, Flarela doesn't possess any particularly strong pets or Spirit Bases, but her own strength should not be underestimated. Moreover, I suspect she may have one or two powerful pets and Spirit Bases hidden away. You should be wary of this."

With these, the chances of success will be much higher."
"What items?" Lin Shen had been listening for a long ti and had finally gotten to the main point.
Lin Zongzheng, sowhat helplessly, took out three items and placed them in front of Lin Shen. The three items were a Pet Gun, a Pet Capsule with a key inserted, and a bracelet-style Spirit Base.
"This Pet Gun is of Nirvana Level; you can't use it yet," Lin Zongzheng picked up the gun and said.
"And then?" Lin Shen asked eagerly, blinking; he was sure that his third brother had more to say.
"I've modified the gun. To others, it appears to be just an Ascension Level Pet Gun. I've made one change inside it, storing a bit of the Power of Nirvana. If you load it with an Ascension Level Pet Capsule, it will allow you to use the Pet Gun once, but only once," Lin Zongzheng pushed the gun across the table to Lin Shen.
"I've also prepared the Ascension Level Pet Capsule for you; a Tenth Turn Mutated Ascension Pet, the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword. With the Bloodthirsty Demon Sword's capabilities combined with the firing speed of the Nirvana Level Pet Gun, if you find a good opportunity, perhaps you could seriously injure Flarela when she's unguarded."
"All is prepared, so why not prepare a Nirvana Level Pet Capsule?" Lin Shen said, but his hands moved quickly, taking the gun and the capsule.

Unexpectedly, Lin Zongzheng nodded and said, "That's why I've prepared one more thing for you, a final lifeline."
As he spoke, Lin Zongzheng handed Lin Shen an exquisitely made little jade box. "Do not open this unless absolutely necessary. If you find yourself with no way out, opening it can ensure your survival. However, if you open it, it also ans the end of this mission, with no room for turning back."
