Lin Shen and Bart looked at the statue in the beam of light and were both astonished, for the statue's appearance was exactly the sa as the one in the church.
However, the church's statue was in a state of disrepair, while the one in the beam of light was dazzlingly brilliant, radiating a holy luminescence all over.
"So this is the true appearance of that statue?" Lin Shen had initially been startled by the sight of the statue because it was marred and, coupled with the gloomy setting of the church, it also seed rather sinister.
