"Who is it? What’s his na?" the strange man hurriedly asked.
"Lin Shen." Vice Dean An spoke the na aloud.
The odd man paused in surprise, and Lin Shen was also taken aback. Although he had vaguely suspected that Vice Dean An was talking about soone from his family, hearing it said directly was still difficult to accept.
"Is it the one who pretended to enter the Celestial Court and is now the Pavilion Master of Central Heaven Star Constellation Hall?" the strange man responded with so surprise.
"What Pavilion Master? He has barely entered the Celestial Court, and he’s already a Pavilion Master. It seems it must be correct; he surely is one of the Great Emperor’s reincarnations. Did he go to the Central Heaven Star God Palace? Then he might be the Jade Emperor’s reincarnation body." Vice Dean An pondered.
"Where are the other three now?" the strange man thought for a mont and asked.
"The second one is in the Ancient Realm’s Celestial Race area; the whereabouts of the other two are unknown." Vice Dean An replied.
"What do you an by unknown? You deliberately went to find them, how could you not know?" The strange man demanded excitedly.
"I had been keeping an eye on them, but then the two suddenly disappeared and never appeared again. I searched for a long ti but couldn’t find them. They should have already co to the Celestial Court." Vice Dean An explained.
"What are their nas, what do they look like, do they have any distinguishing features?" the odd man asked.
"The third one is called Lin Zongzheng, but he likes to use aliases. His personality is very low-key, without showing off, and he acts very mysteriously, making it hard to predict. The fourth is called Lin Xiangdong, who is bold in nature..." Vice Dean An pulled out two photos for the odd man to see.
Lin Shen changed his angle and saw the two photographs, which indeed showed Third Brother and Fourth Brother.
After examining the photos, the strange man’s eyes flashed with a bizarre flow of light. After a mont, he shook his head saying, "The Celestial Court’s official records don’t have these two people."
"Maybe they didn’t co through normal channels; checking archives won’t reveal them." Vice Dean An said.
"Are you saying they took the path of the God-making Race?" The strange man frowned.
"In theory, there’s only that one path, but they are reincarnations of the Great Emperor, so it’s hard to say." Vice Dean An shook his head.
"Regardless, we need to find them first," the strange man stated, fixing his gaze on Vice Dean An and asked, "You’ve searched for them for so many years and observed for so long. What do you think of them? Do we need to implent Plan B?"
"Hard to say, you’ll have to make your own judgnt." Vice Dean An pondered.
"Send their information. I’ll research and locate them as soon as possible." The strange man said.
"Alright." As Vice Dean An spoke, he looked towards the peculiar man.
They stood face to face, with their eyes flashing strange flows of light.
The more Lin Shen observed, the stranger he found it. The actions of Vice Dean An and the peculiar man did not seem to be those of ordinary humans.
"Fine, I’ll head back now. What are your plans?" The odd man’s eyes returned to normal, looking at Vice Dean An and asked.
Vice Dean An seed to glean so information from the recent exchange of glances, and said with a peculiar expression, "Lin Shen is now the head of Vermilion Bird Camp?"
"He is indeed in charge of this camp right now. Shi Zhongqing treats him exceptionally well and likely plans to groom him as the next Great Divine Official. I suspect that old fellow knows sothing." The odd man remarked.
Vice Dean An glanced around and said with a frown, "I have an unsettling feeling, as though I’m being watched."
"With here, do you really think that’s possible?" The strange man sneered.
"True." Vice Dean An no longer worried about it and, after so thought, added, "Since Lin Shen is here, I’ll remain here for observation, to see if there’s anything suspicious. Among the seven, there must be one who isn’t the Great Emperor reincarnated, and I need to find that person."
"That’s good. You’ve returned, making contact easier. I’ll go back and locate the others quickly, placing them under surveillance and keeping in touch." The odd man didn’t say more and turned to disappear into the ground.
Vice Dean An watched where the strange man vanished before slowly walking away.
The information he just gained was overwhelming, taking Lin Shen a mont to process, his attention solely on Vice Dean An, losing interest in others.
Lin Shen had already examined the location where the strange man disappeared. Even if he burrowed underground, Lin Shen’s eyes should be able to see him. Yet, he completely vanished, no longer on the Well Star, likely due to so special transport ability.
Unable to trace the strange man, Lin Shen had to focus on Vice Dean An, hoping to gather more intelligence.
Lin Shen still found it hard to believe his brothers were reincarnations of the Great Emperor.
But pondering, it wasn’t wholly impossible. Besides himself and the Great Emperor, his brothers each had stunning talents, unlike ordinary people.
"I need to ask Vice Dean An clearly about what’s going on." Lin Shen frowned, contemplating how to apprehend Vice Dean An and interrogate him for the truth.
In the Celestial Race, Vice Dean An was considered a bigwig, but that certainly wasn’t his true identity, nor was his power that simple.
The individuals he interacted with could co and go freely in a region sealed by Ghost God power, a frightening ability that ordinary Star Divine Officials could not achieve.
Lin Shen’s ability to move freely on Well Star, unaffected by Ghost God power, was due to having Shi Zhongqing’s Command Token, unrelated to his own strength.
Against an enemy, he should be relentless, but Lin Shen still hadn’t figured out if Vice Dean An was a foe or ally, nor did he understand their motives behind searching for the Great Emperor reincarnations.
In the Celestial Master Institute, Vice Dean An treated him well; without understanding his true intentions, Lin Shen couldn’t bear to act ruthlessly.
Lin Shen decided he must have a chat with Vice Dean An. But before that, he needed to make so preparations.
If it was confird that Vice Dean An was an enemy and not a friend, Lin Shen must not allow him to escape.
Once everything was planned, Lin Shen took a deep breath before appearing in Vice Dean An’s unavoidable path.
Vice Dean An, seeing Lin Shen ahead, was not panicked, instead squinting slightly and asked, "My intuition was indeed correct; Chief of the Heavenly Institute, was it you watching earlier?"
"Should I call you Vice Dean An, or sothing else?" Lin Shen asked Vice Dean An.
"Nas are rely identifiers and inherently unimportant; it matters more what it represents. In your mind, Vice Dean An represents , so call that." Vice Dean An replied.
"That’s true, but I want to know, apart from this identity, who else are you?" Lin Shen said slowly.
