Chapter 1153: Chapter 1153: Daughter

Xin Swordsman and Long Yue were both shocked in their hearts. The fact that Lin Shen could suppress Kristin like this only proved that his speed, strength, and every other attribute far surpassed Kristin’s, giving him an overwhelming advantage.

Yet, considering Kristin’s abilities, being completely outmatched was unimaginable. Just how strong had Lin Shen beco?

“As expected of soone capable of creating a Peerless Divine Skill. He’s no longer in the sa realm as us,” Long Yue praised silently in her heart.

“Uncle Lin is so strong!” Although Xin Ailian couldn’t fully understand what had happened, seeing Lin Shen disarm Kristin in a single move only made her admire him more.

Looking at Lin Shen, Kristin asked, “Are there many as strong as you where you co from?”

“Plenty.” Lin Shen handed the sword back to Kristin.

His attributes were far superior to Kristin’s, coupled with combat skills that were in no way inferior. Kristin stood no chance.

“It seems it’s ti for to leave,” Kristin said as he took back his sword. Instead of looking dejected from his defeat, his gaze turned even more resolute.

“Don’t rush yet. Let’s talk first.” Lin Shen asked for Kristin’s contact number, intending to explain the situation in the Celestial Court once they had the chance. It wouldn’t do for Kristin to charge in recklessly, only to get captured by the Star God Palace of the Southern District.

Lin Shen had already made enemies with the Star God Palace in the Southern District. Rescuing people from there again would be much harder.

After arranging things with Kristin, Lin Shen departed the Sword Saint Palace together with Long Yue and Xin Swordsman. During their farewell, Xin Swordsman gave Lin Shen a peculiar look and said, “If ever you need on the other side, just send word, and I’ll be there.”

With that, without waiting for a reply, Xin Swordsman left with Ailian. Ailian kept turning back, waving at Lin Shen as they bid farewell.

Lin Shen understood in his heart that Xin Swordsman had already guessed he’d returned from the Celestial Court.

Soone like Xin Swordsman, upon learning of higher entities, would never stop pursuing progress. It was highly likely he would also ascend to the Celestial Court in the future.

Lin Shen shook his head. Many more people would ascend to the Celestial Court in the days to co. He needed to devise a plan to address the problems with the ascent pathway. Otherwise, if everyone kept getting captured by the Star God Palace, he couldn’t keep rescuing them every ti.

“If I want to rescue people, I first need to understand why the Star God Palace is targeting people from the Ancient Realm.” Lin Shen pondered silently to himself. For now, he couldn’t co up with an answer and decided to investigate further after returning to the Celestial Court.

“Now, it’s ti for you to fulfill your promise.” Lin Shen turned his gaze toward Long Yue.

Long Yue’s cheeks flushed slightly, but she bit her lip and said, “Don’t get any ideas. I’m doing this for my ideals…”

Lin Shen, however, was tired of hearing her explanations. He directly reached out, picked her up, and, in a flash, arrived at the Peak of Cang Sea. With unrivaled strength, he isolated the snowflakes around them and gently placed her down.

Gazing at the vast sea of clouds and the scattered falling petals, Lin Shen spent the night with Long Yue. After obtaining what he sought, he departed swiftly and without hesitation.

As expected, it was another tenth of the Heaven Defying Bone.

After Lin Shen left, Long Yue, who seemingly had been asleep, opened her eyes. She stared in the direction Lin Shen had departed, her gaze filled with complicated emotions.

Lin Shen didn’t delay further and returned to Giant Ring Star at his fastest speed.

Originally, he thought reuniting with Tian Xun and his elder sister would surely be a warm and emotional scene, with tears of joy perhaps even being shed.

Yet, when Lin Shen saw them, their reaction to him was startlingly indifferent. After rely throwing out a casual “You’re back,” they rushed about, rummaging through drawers and cabinets without explanation.

It wasn’t just them. Everyone seed to be in the sa state, rummaging as though the village had been raided by bandits, flipping everything upside down.

“What’s going on here?” Lin Shen grabbed Tian Xin, who’d been circling in the sky like a hunting falcon, and had just landed.

“What do you think? Your daughter’s gone missing.” Tian Xin snapped in exasperation. “For the third ti… this month. The third ti!”

“Daughter… gone missing…” Lin Shen was completely stunned by the two consecutive revelations.

The first news brought him imnse joy, but the second left him dumbfounded. The mont he recovered, he imdiately tried to dash out to search for her.

His elder sister stopped him. “What are you doing?”

“I’m going to find my daughter!” Lin Shen said urgently.

“Do you even know what your daughter looks like? How will you find her?” His elder sister scoffed.

“Right, right! I don’t even know what she looks like.” Lin Shen slapped his forehead, montarily flustered.

“Calm down. Losing your daughter isn’t that big of a deal,” his elder sister reassured him.

That made Lin Shen frown. “Elder sister, how can losing a child not be a big deal? Isn’t this serious?”

“Tian Xin already told you, this is the third ti this month. She got lost eight tis last month. We’re used to it,” his elder sister replied.

“How old is my daughter?” Lin Shen asked, dumbfounded.

He did the math. He’d only been in the Celestial Court for less than ten months. Even by human gestation periods, his daughter shouldn’t be more than a few months old, not old enough to run off on her own.

And if he considered the Celestial Race’s gestation period, Tian Xun shouldn’t have even given birth yet.

His elder sister explained, “Your daughter is beyond explanation. I thought you and your siblings were hard to handle as kids, but compared to her, you were angelic.”

She gave Lin Shen a brief rundown. His daughter, not even three months old yet, hadn’t even reached her one-hundredth day since birth.

During her first month, she had been adorable and well-behaved, lying quietly in her crib and laughing gleefully at the toys dangled in front of her.

Back then, everyone thought she was the sweetest baby ever—she barely cried, and anyone who played with her was rewarded with her joyous laughter.

But starting from the second month, things began to go awry.

She learned to crawl, and everything changed. The island soon beca a chaotic battlefield, with a baby speeding across the ground, leaving a trail of sparks and lightning—a crawling speed that reached 70 kiloters per hour.

From then on, as soon as she was out of sight, no one knew where she would end up.

Last month alone, she got lost eight tis. This month was comparatively better—only three tis, despite everyone being on high alert.

Her physical resilience was extraordinary. Once, she was found in a gutter; another ti, she was discovered in a nest belonging to Ascended Creatures on the island. When they located her, she was nestled in alongside the newborn offspring of the creature, fighting them for milk.

The eight baby creatures couldn’t outcompete her—she drank from one while clutching another, even using her tiny feet to kick away two others trying to approach.

This little troublemaker wasn’t even three months old, yet her escapades were already worthy of their own epic tale.

The only redeeming trait she seed to possess was her incredible vitality—she ate well, ate everything, and never seed to be full. Feeding her was never an issue.

Lin Shen listened in stunned silence, doubting whether they were describing his daughter or the infamous band of gourts known as Wine, Lustful, Wealth and Qi.
