610 The soldiers who seek sponsorship

As Vincent and Kazumi expected, they captured the five n’s attention while greatly impressing them.

The display was ordinary to Vincent, yet not to the five n. They watched the green light exit Vincent’s hands and form into objects in awe. While this happened, they started to doubt if their eyes were playing tricks on them.

The Soul Dinsional Storage summoning was a srizing sight to behold. More so to people who do not own a bag of holding and imagine such an item is more incredible than it is.

The vice-captains and the adventurers knew a bag of holding wouldn’t typically produce light, thus making them believe Vincent was an exceptional noble to have a unique and most definitely pricy bag of holding.

Furthermore, the two sides felt Vincent flexed on them by using such a priceless storage bag for ordinary objects. In their opinion, having such a costly storage bag and using it for furniture and cups of water was a way to show dominance.

Vincent went to take a seat casually. He lifted the cup in front of him and took a sip.

Mimi glanced at the n and smirked. She grabbed a chair and went to sit beside Vincent. After sitting Vincent Vincent, Mimi touched her shoulder with his. Then she winked and smiled as if she was flirting with him and as if no one else was around them.

The five n questioned what they were seeing right now. Not to ntion they questioned how many won Vincent had and how many more won Vincent possibly had.

Vincent looked handso to them, yet won are people and not objects. They need to eat and money to look presentable. However, all of the won who stated were Vincent’s won looked both healthy and appealing.

.....

‘To pour a lot of money into so many won daily must an Baron Vincent Lionheart is wealthy and also cares about his people.’ The five n had almost this sa thought.

Regardless of what their eyes saw and their minds thought, the five n couldn’t remain stunned for a long ti. The noble they visited was waiting for them to sit while his woman was clearly trying to flirt with him.

*Gulp* One of the vice-captains took a step forward and said respectfully, “I will graciously take a seat.”

The four other n saw the vice-captain take a seat. Shortly, they gulped and took a seat while showing their gratitude for the seat they were given.

“~Haha~” Faint laughter could be heard in the distance.

It caused the five n to move their gaze toward the sound. In the far distance, they could see a maid watching a few children wearing small maid outfits following a yellow dot, probably a butterfly.

“Welco to the Erald Lionheart Mansion. I am Baron Vincent Lionheart, and this is my woman.” Vincent greeted them, causing the five n’s attention to return to Vincent.

“Hi, humans. ” Mimi said while gently waving her hand. “I am Mimi, a newly appointed Guild Master.”

Mimi winked at continued, “But I hope my identity can be kept secret. I do not want my ~man~ to be troubled.”

The five n stared at Mimi. Hearing the title Guild Master was very rare as Guild Leaders took care of the entirety of their assigned branches.

Thus, no one would lie about being a Guild Master because displaying proof was difficult. People who barely knew anything about Guild Masters other than being their founders would not be able to tell lies or tell the truth.

“Hehe. You boys doubt because you never saw the other five Guild Masters.” Mimi casually said while moving her bottom lips back enough for her two vampire fangs to appear. “Guild Masters are eternally young after all, hehe.”

The five n’s eyes widened, and they almost popped out of their eye sockets. Vampires were a rare sight because they looked like humans. Only living for centuries with an appearance between their twenties and thirties, their vampire fangs were different.

[The n look shocked to learn about Mimi’s race. I guess vampires are more of a rare sight than I imagined. Well, it is not like you inspect every person we see or look at their mouths to check if they have fangs or not.]

“Ahem.” Vincent cleared his throat to attract attention to himself.

“A situation happened, and the maids are cleaning the entire mansion.” Vincent looked up at the sky and continued, “At least it is not windy or snowing.”

Vincent tapped on the table and continued, “By the way, the water is warm. I am not going to provide cold water to my guests in this cold weather.”

The five n looked at the water in the cup. Faint vapor rose from the surface.

Although Vincent didn’t welco them in the mansion like any other noble would to show their superiority, Vincent’s Soul Dinsional Storage was enough to prove Vincent’s significance.

The five n understood Vincent had set a boundary between them. Vincent didn’t provide welcoming hospitality while not being full-on rude.

Instead, Vincent proved his wealth and also coincidentally showed them a maid and little maids enjoying their ti in the garden. He displayed a powerful yet generous image to those he accepted.

Being welcod outside between the mansion and the entrance gate was similar to telling them Vincent needed to trust them for their relationship to change.

“I do not mind the cold, your lordship, but...” One of the adventurers said before looking at the people in the distance and asking, “Are they not cleaning the property? Are the children working here too?”

“I am a benevolent noble, and those who loyally serve and offer their trust will be rewarded. ” Vincent responded while looking at each of the five n.

“The maid is on her break while the kids are kids. They help around and learn the values of life. It appears they are enjoying playing outside and enjoying their once-in-a-lifeti youth.”

*Sigh* “It is nice to hear them laugh happily after the previous orphanage sold them as slaves. I saved them from their horrible future, yet they can’t return to ordinary lives in their current state.”

Vincent said while showing he wasn’t a bad noble that purchases children for child labor. Instead, he is giving them a ho, a place to learn, and a place to live happily.

The five n looked at the children and deed the view didn’t appear to be a forced scene while making Vincent appear benevolent in their eyes.

They started to view Vincent as a good noble, yet the doubt still couldn’t be entirely removed because this was their first ti eting each other. Hearing about a person was different than eting the said person and talking.

“Vincent, don’t you think these humans will get cold? Or are you going to have a brief talk with them?” Mimi winked at Vincent without any care for the attention and continued, “But do not worry about . I feel hot beside you, hehe.”

[...] “...” Vincent, Kazumi, and the five n stared at Mimi for a couple of seconds without uttering a word. Mimi’s shaless flirting made their brains temporarily pause.

“Why is it quiet all of a sudden?” Mimi pointed at the first vice-captain to take a seat and ordered, “You can start first.”

“Y-yes.” The vice-captain responded nervously. He was still intimidated by the fact Mimi was a vampire while doubting if she was really a Guild Master or not.

“I-I am here to represent myself and nine other soldiers serving under . We have served together for a few years now. They are people I can vouch for.” The vice-captain explained, hoping Vincent could understand why he was representing and vouching for them.

“I heard from my wives that you seek to be sponsored by my Lionheart family. I also heard you seek to have free dicine like what I offer the other people I sponsor.” Vincent tapped on the table and continued, “Did I hear correctly?”

“Y-yes, your lordship.” The vice-captain answered while showing signs of nervousness.

“We have wanted to et your lordship for so ti now. Hearing terrible stories about what can happen to families with unexpected sicknesses or injuries isn’t sothing to be shocked about.”

“After hearing how the Lionheart family helped and sponsored soldiers in need without requesting shady or immoral requests, many of us beca interested to know if it was the truth.”

The first vice-captain stopped talking, and the second one continued.

“Your lordship, I am representing myself and five n under . After being called for assistance to catch criminals and protect Baroness Lionheart, I and my n, who wanted to et the Lionheart family, rushed to the scene along with others following .”

“After hearing how your lordship has sponsored vice-captain Ganni and captian Russo, we wanted to ask what conditions the sponsorship had.”

The two vice-captains respectfully suddenly lowered their heads after explaining why they sought to et with Vincent and how they got to know about the advantages of being sponsored by the Lionheart family branch.

One vice-captain said, “We apologize for our rudeness, and we are grateful to be in your presence, but...” while the other continued, “Can we know the details about the Lionheart sponsorship?”

[These two n are cautious, yet they are displaying their responsibility to the soldiers who serve the kingdom under them. Additionally, to their and their soldiers’ families.]

-How about I use the Loyalty Servant System to know how they view ?-

[Good idea. Not only will they prove their loyalty to you, but we will be able to tell how they view you.]
